“Tonight was just our latest amazing dinner at Blue Atlas! It was Vegan Takeover night and we tried every dish but one … as usual, the flavors were anything but boring. They were bold and surprising and our two non-vegan guests ate every last morsel and then some. The non-vegan nights are equally as extraordinary! Friendly, professional staff (Bas was out server tonight and he was great!) and just a fabulous experience!!! I love the fact that the head chef is a woman (as an aside)!”
“My significant other and I came here for a late Valentines celebration and had the most amazing time. The food was incredible and the staff, specifically Marissa and Zach, was top notch. We will be back very soon and we highly recommend The Stables to others.”
“Had a lovely time with my fiance at this restaurant. We enjoyed a variety of dishes from mild to spicy! The service was great. The host explained each dish to us in great detail and accommodated our dietary restrictions. Also, the atmosphere is calm and serene. Check out this spot and put your taste buds on a flavorful adventure!”
“Having been a server for almost 10 years, it is very difficult for me to be blown away by service I recieve while dining. Susan absolutely put it down! Not only was she completely on point with timing of everything- drink almost done? She's there asking if you're ready for another. Just finished your last bite of bread? Here she comes with more for the table- but she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the menu, helping guide you through the flavors present and explaining not only what features in a dish, but how it will taste and feel. I CANNOT say enough about how professional and amazing she was. Then, not only was the service top-notch, but every single bite of every dish absolutely DELIEVERED! We ordered the venison carpaccio, and Susan was able to describe all the sauces and flavors on the dish, so we were able to try the venison with each, knowing it would tweak the overall flavor in different ways. It came highly recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. I got the waygu stuffed quail for my entree and my husband got the sea scallops catch of the day, and the portions were amazing for both- giant scallops, a half a quail that perfectly filled me up, along with amazing waygu cheek stuffed in the quail. Not only were the proteins perfectly cooked and flavored, but even the sides to each dish complemented the proteins beautifully and were DELICIOUS. Not a single thing could I or would I want to change. 100% worth every penny spent for an amazing date night, and we will absolutely book another reservation to return!Parking: Go early to ensure you can find parking, or catch an Uber or Lyft”
“Great burger place and the fries are excellent, even when cold. Would definitely recommend. The building is easy to miss and lot is a bit small but worth the visit.”

“All the dishes we tried were excellent and generously portioned! Shared the charred octopus, the special lamb lollipops, and the pastichiatho 22. Delicious! Finished with the dessert, ekmeth, rich yet refreshing and cool. Will definitely be back to try new dishes!”
“We had a great evening at Penny's Wine Shop - we enjoyed the full flight of featured wines by the glass and paired them with several of the shared plate selections. Oyster mushrooms conserva and potato dauphinoise were our top favorites with the Bolet Cava and Patience Blanc white blend, but everything we tasted was delicious – oh that Basque cheesecake! This is definitely on the list to return to as their menu and wines change on a regular basis so always something new to try! We posted more love & pics @richpairings”
“We came for brunch before going to see Madame Butterfly. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was excellent especially the biscuits. I have never seen such an extensive wine by the glass list.Parking: Free street parking a block away on Sundays.”

“Excellent experience on 3/23/24. Everything was clean and Marvin was in top of it! Friendly and quick service even with a full bar and mostly full dining area. Thanks!”

“Dinner at Alewife was the highlight of our five-day visit to Richmond. First off, it was a relief to get out of downtown Richmond with its huge empty parking lots, boarded up storefronts and deserted streets. The historic Church Hill section, with its 19th century row and other houses and interesting looking restaurants and shops, was such a pleasant change. Parking near Alewife was a bit of a challenge, but we quickly found a spot just a block away. The restaurant itself has a fascinating vibe, part friendly neighborhood spot and part disarmingly upmarket dining room. You just knew the food would be interesting, and it was. We started with a gin and tonic and a non-alcoholic beer. The menu is fairly short and apparently changes nightly, or at least frequently.I would never in this world think that I would enjoy an appetizer of raw oysters, bright green pickle juice, creme fraiche and fresh dill. But it was an amazing flavor combination. My partner's appetizer was equally interesting -- lox on thick, toasted rustic bread. As mains, we had the arctic char, with grilled carrots, and the skate, both perfectly prepared and delicious. Service throughout the meal was just right -- friendly, attentive but not overly so. Our charge for two, including tip, was around $150, well worth the price. Thank you for a great meal experience!”

“Wonderful, dense, New England style ice cream. I’ve yet to try a flavor that was not absolutely wonderful. Inventive flavors. You can’t go wrong with anything these guys put out. Also very friendly staff!”

“We were looking for a place to take our grandson and daughter-in-law out for ice cream. We heard that Bubs and Gracie's Ice Cream and Cookies was really good, so we decided to try it. It turned out to be a great choice. The ice cream was delicious, and the service was excellent. I spoke to the owner and found out that the shop is family operated. We enjoyed the experience so much that we'll definitely be back!”

“Too full to go into too much detail but this food is so good I will be thinking about it for sometime. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a meal like that so I must return. If I stayed in the restaurant I may have exploded. Everything… and I do mean all elements of the dishes… were exceptional. They were super busy as well (convention in town) and service was incredibly kind.”
“It is our pleasure to recommend Deep Run catering for any event you are having. They have catered at our venue, The Stodola, countless times and each time their food was outstanding and their onsite team was professional in every manner. They ensure they our facility is cleaned from their work and they always check in with us before departing our venue. Yesterday they catered and bartended a wedding here and as usual it was flawless. Highly recommend them for your event. Great job Deep Run.”
“Brambly Park has become a sort of club house for my family and our friends. My 90 year old Dad and I come here for our lunch dates. We also celebrate birthdays, lady hospital hours, and dinners with friends … all at Brambly. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and responsive. We love the HH deals on wine and pizza. The pizza is divine! We prefer to sit on the covered porch as it can sometimes be a bit noisy on the inside (and we love getting to hear the trains).Brambly as a little something for everyone.”

“Wife and I trying new places exploring Richmond. This was a gem. Service was excellent. Atmosphere, character and ambiance of the bar and dining room were old-school comfortable and welcoming.Dinner included wedge salad and seared tuna, Arugula salad and simply prepared blackened salmon. Prepared properly, served with a family side of potatoes. Delicious.Service continued their appropriate attention throughout the meal, dessert, and closing out.Not to be passed up if visiting Richmond.”

“Charcuterie board done right. Order a glass (of their curated wine selection? or their eccentric cocktail creations? take a pick!), order some dishes, and lean back and enjoy the ambiance either in their intimate bar or outdoor patio. Lovely experience.”

“Old Richmond steakhouse. Not the fanciest restaurant in Richmond located in an older strip mall with that said it's an institution. Been here forever. Good service great food and old Richmond atmosphere. Make sure I get reservations tables are hard to come by.”
“I don't think I've ever had a bad dish at Tazza Kitchen. The atmosphere is very casual buy warm and inviting. We loved our server. She did everything possible to make our dining experience enjoyable. We will be returning.”
“We came here for happy hour and I could taste that they used a good tequila in the margarita it was so good. I was going to get the firecracker shrimp but they had some Reuben sandwiches left from Saint Patties Day so we both had them and we weren’t disappointed! It came on marbled bread and the corned beef was sweet and tender with no gristle. Shout out to Brendan and DeAndre for excellent service! It was my BFF’s birthday dinner and they sent over a yummy chocolate cake for her. Thank you. Also, shout out to the chef as she really knows how to cook corned beef — it really was delectable.Edited to add that the beet tower with goat cheese was awesome!”
“Attended the Wade Cellars wine tasting hosted here by Chef Mike Lindsey and it was phenomenal. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but very well put together, inviting, and has charm.I haven't tried menu items from Jubilee yet, but after this experience, we will definitely be back!”
“Great little tucked away spot with limited tables and a bar seating area. You can hear them pounding the schnitzel in the kitchen. Great selection of German beers, we went with the kolsch and the chicken schnitzel w mushroom gravy I choose German potato salad and sauerkraut as my sides and my partner got spaetzle and gravy. The food took a looong time but when you hear them physically pounding out your chicken you know it’s made to order. You get a chunk of focaccia bread that was rather dry and had no dipping oils or butter to hold you over while waiting but wasn’t worth bothering to waste stomach space on, the entrees came out and it was so good and worth waiting for. Comparing it to our favored German restaurant in Myrtle beach have to say is was just as good and even a notch better in sone areas, the breading on the schnitzel is so crisp and crunchy and the best potato salad I’ve had. Partner agreed his spaetzle was also the best he ever had only thing I would change is the mushroom gravy is very thick there’s more mushrooms then gravy and not much flavor. So would try a different sauce next time. Entrees are in the $20’s but large filling portions.”
“I'm honestly surprised I haven't reviewed this place before. In my humble opinion, this is the best French restaurant in the whole city. The staff are impeccably kind and attentive, the food selection is great, and the drinks are to die for. The staff treats you like family, and it really makes for an inviting time. The space is also very warm and comforting, which I truly appreciate.Definitely a place you should go for a nice date with someone, or to just have a good dinner and a warm and welcoming space.”
“OMG,Where do i even start. We walked in and were so excited to try their Momo.We sat down and ordered Palak chaat,Chili chicken, and momo.Everything was so delicious ?.We ended up eating way too much ?.The masala chai came in a little black pot which made my husband so happy cause he loves his chai. The pista chicken was okay and may be not for me ??.The only thing i did not like was shikanjvi which was a sweet drink? After multiple disappointing experiences at Indian and Nepalese restaurants we were so happy we found this amazing restaurant.**Please try this restaurant and make sure totry their Nepalese dumpling (Momo)”
“Our first time coming in here and I must say I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't impressed. For our appetizer we had the southern egg rolls which were delicious, but the fact that 1 order is just 1 egg roll cut in half for 8 dollars in my opinion is a bit much, so we ordered 2. Next the mains, my wife ordered the baked chicken with Mac and cheese and cabbage, the baked chicken was very juicy but over seasoned, the Mac and cheese was decent but that cabbage was just way to sweet for our liking. Myself I ordered the shrimp and grits w/ bacon. Flavor wise I thought it was perfect but when I asked the hostess was it supposed to be that cold she picked up the plate and said "well the bottom of the plate is warm". Not trying to make a big stink out of it I asked her to simply put it in the microwave, she came back with a fresh order but now forgot my bacon smh, once I asked my waiter for my bacon, another server stood off to the side analyzing my plate like I'm gonna lie over bacon. All in all I would recommend that if you haven't tried it yet please do so. Picture of shrimp and grits was the first order before i asked for another”
“I very much enjoyed the experience at Uliveto. The service and ambience were warm and inviting. As for the food, I enjoyed the olive bread and octopus special. Though I would have preferred the olive bread served warm. They reminded me of my many culinary experiences in Europe. However the portion and presentation when it came to the flounder entree was poor. The portion size was much too large and the presentation needed work. I thought the fish was cooked well. I think this restaurant has the opportunity to become a staple in the community. My hope is the menu options are decreased by half or more. A focus on a few dishes that are executed on well in taste, portion, and appearance would not only help customers avoid decision fatigue when choosing their meal, but would ensure consistent quality of food. Having a smaller menu would also help keep costs down by helping the restaurant have less food inventory which should ensure ingredients are consistently fresh. I would also consider having a separate wine bottle menu that is offered on request, while shifting wine by the glass to the cocktail menu.”
“First time here and the food, drinks and service were great! Definitely will be back! Finding parking was a little challenge, but definitely worth it. We had the grilled calamari, cauliflower and scallops and shrimp. Delicious!!! Highly recommend!!”
“Stopped by for Sunday brunch and this place was packed! We managed to get a spot by the bar and I'm so glad we did because the food was phenomenal. I got the Eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes and the potatoes were some of the best I've ever had! My husband got the chicken and waffles which came out piping hot and fresh, I got a taste and definitely preferred my choice! Customer service was great and they have a nice patio outside for nicer weather. I feel like I missed out and should have ordered a carrot cake slice to go because it looked divine and all the other reviews mention it. Don't miss out!”
“I ate here with a good friend of mine and the atmosphere was very nice, we got a wonderful booth next to the window and they work on a reservation system so heads up on that! The food overall was pretty good, my friend is a big fan of their broccoli but for me nothing stood out to me. Its a very Richmond hipster restaurant with taking elements from different cultures but with their own twist. The dessert however was great and the staff is wonderful so it makes me sad to see disrespectful costumers.”

“first I’d like to say the waitress me and my wife had was very friendly and service was exceptional the night shift crew has the best service we’ve ever experienced and they are hilarious our waitress we didn’t catch her name but she was light skin and curvy her and the light skin man with the beard they were picking light fun at the chef and it makes us feel like a place that’s very family oriented and special and a good vibe all around .. but to the point me and my wife ordered a all star and they were absolutely delicious ! Everything we asked for cooked to perfection and quality was amazing we will be continuing to come back here for years to come and showing love to the night shift !!!!!!!”
“Stopped at their food truck for a coffee at the Big Market in Bryan Park. Easily one of the best lattes I have ever had. The staff are super kind and Manveer, the owner, is incredibly nice. Can’t recommend them highly enough!”
“I can in for breakfast and Jessica was my sever. She was outstanding. That was the best service I think I have ever hadJessica is a asset to Denny's. She could teach some of the other servers you have a few things. She will have to be my server from here forward. ”
“This guy has the best looking mullet that I've seen in decades...I instantly thought of the movie "Joe Dirt".These are some of the characters you can only see at waffle House.”
“This Waffle House experience was top notch. To start, our server, Gemm made our table seem like his only table. He was great in getting us what we needed, but also asked to hold friendly conversation. He needs a raise, as I feel he is the type of worker you want representing your organization! He even took the extra step to make a fresh pot of coffee for his tables, since he didn't know how long the pot had been sitting. The food was standard delicious WH goodness, I had to double up carbs and get grits and hash browns! We may have to get breakfast there again tomorrow. Notice to corporate, please build a Waffle House in San Antonio, Texas! The drive is too far to get your goodness!”
“I went in after a long day during my husband's surgery... The staff was friendly, very kind, my sandwich was fresh, quickly made and delicious... I had an excellent experience and it was much appreciated.”
“Not sure why reviewers would give this location a low score for customer service - look at what these young people have to deal with every day at this spot! They keep it as clean as humanly possible and 2 minutes later it will be trashed again by street people doing their thing. I can't imagine what the employees have to deal with on a day-to-day basis here. Cut them some slack. They're doing the best they can with what they have to work with and don't get paid much to deal with your grief and/or impatience. I've always had great service here and the lady at the register today was singing in the rain on an early Sunday morning while ringing up my coffee. Thank you, Sister.”
“One the better mcdonalds i have been to, or already this one has the best service.Table service inside is impressive, drive thru is busy but quick.Out of 4 times going here, they have only messed up my last order (via drive thru), where they did not include my 2nd order of fries.”
“Ordered online for both breakfast and lunch at this location. Perfectly made burger with add ons and deleted item from order. Been here several times. Food is good and fresh. Quite busy when I was here but everything was spot on. Both employees and patrons were very kind here. Recommend for a quick online and inside pickup. I can't rate the drive thru or inside ordering, since I haven't used these services.”

“Excellent vegan baked goods! Such lovely textures and flavors. I love the vibes of this shop. Fun merch and vegan food pantry and ready made options too. The coffee was fine but the star really is the baked goods.”
“I love this place for many things;- The food is amazing, best mexican food in virginia and best mexican food in the whole united states-the food is exactly as if you were eating in Mexico City-The service is great- The atmosphere inside the place is great-Very friendly and family run”
“Food was AMAZING! Service AMAZING! Ambiance was all positive vibes! Spoke with Mike for a bit, he is a amazing man with a powerful message! Highly recommend! If you are reading this go check them out! You wont regret it”
“Tried it for the first time today and loved the different flavors and the service. Also thought that the flight of scoops was a great idea and the presentation in an egg box was very creative! Loved the whole experience!”
“Finally a local place for when the cravings for chicken over rice hits. Food was excellent and the service made you feel genuinely welcomed, 10/10. Will be coming back.”
“This place has easily become an all time favorite for me. The different drinks are fantastic, the donuts have been phenomenal, just a great place all around! Highly recommend!”
“First let me say that I lived in Europe for two years and have had quite a few amazing croissants...but nothing like this place. The chocolate almond croissant from Sub Rosa is the best one I've ever had..period. Also, the ham and cheese croissant and the tart was incredible. We heard about how fast they sell out so we ordered a few days ahead of our trip. I'd recommend doing the same if you want to guarantee you'll get what you want. Seriously, if you find yourself down here, plan to make a stop, you will not be disappointed.”
“Brick Road Coffee Company is awesome! My wife and I really wanted a a place with character that we could sit and enjoy really good coffee. And wonderfully unexpected was that they had good gluten free bread, and their breakfast sandwiches are among the best we’ve found. This is also a great place to do a Bible study,Enjoy time with friends, read a good book, or just sit and enjoy the fantastic aesthetic!Dietary restrictions: Fantastic gluten free bread and dairy free options.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp up to the main entrance and handicap parking.”
“What a start to our Richmond trip! Ordered the Rosemary Sea Salt bagel egg & cheese, salsa verde egg & cheese kolache (their specialty), and a brown sugar Rosemary Sea salt iced latte (lightly sweetened). Everything was fantastic and freshly made! Kolach is a stuffed Czech/Slovak pastry which was unique and a great blend of sweet/savory. Zack, the owner was incredibly hospitable!”
“It’s like grabbing a bite at your Uncle’s table. Although it may seem like walking into a time capsule, my family was greeted by the friendly owner. And he does everything; cooking, cleaning, running the register, and taking care of customers. It was really impressive and can really appreciate he does it all with a smile. The food is a must-try. Our chicken gyro was delicious with sliced peppers to give it a little kick. The pep-pizza for my son was crispy and made fresh. The fries were crisp and fresh as well. Overall, my family loved the restaurant and will definitely be back to try something new on the menu!”
“Overall a really great place when you want some Mexican food. One of my tacos was a little dry, but everything else was great. Especially the guacamole! Small place but we had no wait on a Saturday evening.”
“Finally tried this place after driving past and thinking it was cute, it was absolutely delicious. Everyone we interacted with was so kind, the atmosphere was great and you can tell the people working here enjoy the work environment. The timing of our food coming out was great, and our server was so sweet! Thank you Allison.”
“Service was great, even with a line of customers the staff kept everyone moving at a good pace. My Tres Hombres was huge, I ate 1/2 and took the other half (it was delicious microwaved the following day as a leftover). The sauce was excellent, and the bbq moist, tender, and flavorful. If there were a 10 star rating I’d give that.I had the beet salad which was also very good.Well-Done!”
“Perfect place for a relaxing bit of caffeine and sugar! The drinks are wonderful and the staff is so helpful! Their menu is large and the staff are experts at navigating it; don’t hesitate to ask for advice!”
“My partner is a vegetarian and I prefer to avoid meat where I can, so we're always on the lookout for spots that cater to the veggie crowd more than just having one or two vegetarian options that are lackluster in comparison to the rest of the menu. And this place was absolutely perfect; at no point did we feel like the quality or flavour was sacrificed in the process of making the meal vegetarian or vegan. I got the "chicken" salad sandwich (on a gluten free wrap) with a side of butternut squash soup, and my partner got the Gyro sandwich with a side of potato salad; we were both more than satisfied. The gluten free wrap was also very tasty in its own right and not too dry or crumbly. We're definitely going to be coming back sometime soon, but I'll have to really push myself to try something new instead of getting that amazing chicken salad wrap again; it was just that good.Dietary restrictions: Has gluten free wraps available for the sandwiches in place of the bread; and the wraps are pretty good too!”

“Lee's Chicken is one of the best fried chicken there could be and a very friendly family-oriented restaurant you must ride out if you love chicken then Lee's Famous Fried Chicken is the place for you. At the post in this review of few years ago I had a chance to work at least behind the counter at is one of the greatest places to work they are very employee oriented place from the operation manager down to every employee staff there including the owner I enjoy the time that I was there looking forward to probably working their game part time to need be with all that said Lee's famous Chicken gets a rating of five stars from me and only one other restaurant has received five stars from me as far as fried Chicken ? is concerned and that's Popeyes so if you can't find a lease find yourself a Popeye's you can't find Popeyes by yourself please those are five star chicken places”
“Our family loves Habit! ❤️Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad is so good and you get a great portion!Burgers taste flame ? grilled! If you're a ranch dressing lover, Habit has awesome ranch!Grilled Chicken Sandwich is delicious ?!”
“Wonderful caramel apple cider, and my daughters enjoyed the Gold Rush and the pumpkin. Back in the summer I had a can of the peach cider and I can't wait to get more, if they have it next summer.”
“Excellent flavor profiles, crisp, and clean. My favorite drink if I’m not having a beer, wine or cocktail. Even then their Blue Mule and Cider are delicious. Highly recommend.”
“I was there for a pottery pop up market, advertised as part of a pot-pub crawl in conjunction with the NCECA Pottery Convention in town- I of course had to pop in for a cocktail! I got the Blackberry Smash- which was delicious, even if I was freezing and wishing for a hot drink! lol. I also was intrigued with their specialty simple syrups- I sprung for a blackberry vanilla simple syrup to take home for cocktails! The bar was brightly lit, fun menu boards and quick service! Win win.”
“If it was easier to get here I'd come more often, but parking in the area is kinda difficult. That's hardly their fault though, so if you are willing to fight with Fan traffic definitely give them a try!”
“We were warmly greeted upon entering, after ordering, when the food was ready and when we left. The food had a lot of flavor and it's a good value. The yucca was fried softer than my preference and the chicharrón was fried harder but I still liked them. I'm glad to have stumbled across this gem.Note: Unless you're going eastbound on Broad Street, pulling into the restaurant takes you on some side streets but it's worth it. There is no direct access to the restaurant westbound.”
“Ate at the Potbelly Scotts Addition in Richmond,VA today (3/24/24). Food was great but they were unable to add the $46+ amount to my points account. Is there a way to add it later? There should be!”
“I wanted some wings and onion rings so decided on Mr Submarine for lunch. I didn't get a pic of the wings but they were delicious. The onion rings were as well.I do have to say if you are in a time crunch, this order will take longer than the others so expect to wait.”
“I get lunch here occasionally on my break. I go through the drive-thru mostly. It's always good tasting and they haven't forgotten anything from my orders.”
“Dear Ja'mere,I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional customer service you provided during my recent visit to Chick-Fil-A. On that day, I was going through a challenging personal time, and your empathy and kindness made a world of difference to me.As I approached the drive-through, my emotions got the better of me, and I found myself in tears. Despite my difficulty in expressing myself, you showed incredible patience and compassion. Your reassuring words and warm demeanor were a source of comfort during a trying moment in my life. You went above and beyond your role as a service provider, offering not just a meal but also genuine empathy and support. In a world where such kindness can sometimes be rare, your actions stood out and made a significant impact on my day.I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your exceptional service and for being a source of positivity when I needed it most. Your kindness will not be forgotten, and I hope you continue to uplift others with your wonderful spirit. With heartfelt appreciation,A'LexusP.S. Keep spreading kindness—it truly makes a difference!”
“This might be one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Starbucks. Which isn’t saying the others were bad. This one was just better. There is a new manager with pins on his hat, sorry I can’t remember the name, who says he loves a store with a drive threw and it shows. Five people and I challenge another five person team work as efficiently as they did while still being a delight first thing in the morning. I don’t know your names but hopefully you know who you are. Keep up the amazing work. I’ll stop by Gaskins anytime I’m near Short pump and want a delicious Chai Latte.”
“Delicious food! The ability to speak Spanish would have been helpful, but the availability of bilingual staff was accommodating to those of us who know are only monolingual.”
“Next to masjid ❤️ The owner shows excellent love . When I'm short a few cents , the owner lets me go , I come here everyday living in the area , I always pay back ! Loyal customer love it ! & My numbers always hit at this location! Also love the food”
“The food was good and plentiful. Rolls and soft serve ice cream are always delicious. The place was clean and well maintained.Vegetarian options: Many selections of vegetables are available.Parking: Parking available in front and to the sides.Kid-friendliness: Always foods for kids.”

“Charcuterie board done right. Order a glass (of their curated wine selection? or their eccentric cocktail creations? take a pick!), order some dishes, and lean back and enjoy the ambiance either in their intimate bar or outdoor patio. Lovely experience.”
“I don't think I've ever had a bad dish at Tazza Kitchen. The atmosphere is very casual buy warm and inviting. We loved our server. She did everything possible to make our dining experience enjoyable. We will be returning.”

“10/10 experience. I had the biscuit and gravy, sage sausage, caramelized onion potato hash and nitro coffee. Everything was priced great and Selim was the most welcoming bartender. The cook in the back was killing it. Presentation on point. We were from out of town and I will definitely stop here again. Thank you so much for the experience.”
“A very quaint place on Brooklyn Parkway. Food was excellent service was phenomenal. Prices were great. One thing I can add is. Maybe they should try their hand at making shakes. I think they would probably. Slay it ❤️???Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating . Pleasant atmosphere”
“Fantastic unique food. Fun atmosphere & great service. Michael was our server today & he made many great suggestions & checked up on us plenty. Wish more places had great service like this!Take a chance & try something new here! Cinnamon bun was delicious but so was the special Sheppards pie.”
“Bread is amazing. Felt like the guy behind the counter hated my guts but it was totally worth it, bread blew me away. Some of the best bread in the city imo, def worth checking ”
“Great atmosphere food and service was so amazing I even forgot to take a picture of dishes I will definitely be back and will recommend my friends to come over and try their juicy cevabi kebab and Goulash !!! And fresh crepes with Nutella ?”
“I have to say this place served me some of the best chicken I have ever had. All of our food was made to order and was very well seasoned. The service was also friendly and kind I can not recommend this place enough.”
“I discovered this place randomly nearby business, and decided to take a try. Family owned, and I was blown away by how good these cheesesteaks were except meatless! I tried other items such as the eggrolls and tots…all so good. I will be going here every time I come to Richmond!”
“I love this cute cafe!! I've now been there twice for coffee and while I have had to wait a bit, I've been really happy with my experiences there. I have gotten the iced peppermint mocha both times and it was perfect. The breakfast burrito was so flavorful and filling that it was more than worth the $7 price tag. I've also had a bagel and blue berry muffin and they were lovely. Excited to live pretty close to there and stop in to do work one afternoon at a table or catch up with a friend there.”
“Great coffee, plus my favorite BBQ spot in Richmond, and they're both under the same roof! Love this place. I've been many times, and it's always fantastic.”
“Delicious food and cafecito! I was so happy and surprised to find this restaurant. The staff was kind and friendly. They had lots of people waiting for orders which let me know this place is a favorite for locals. I definitely recommend Arepas con carne y queso and cafe cappuccino. Empanadas were tasty too.”
“First landing in Virginia, first landing in Richmond.I headed to this store from the airport with my friend and family who live locally. The name seems to mean "grandma". It's quite delicious considering it's a restaurant that serves grandma's taste. The dinner plate that came with rice and beans was great, and I also ordered some delicious-looking Tamales, but by the end I was too full to eat dessert.Came here on a Friday night with 3 adults and a 5 year old child. The staff's response is also good. The inside of the store was also clean.Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff service.”
“Food here is plentiful and Delicious!! So much to try including great pastries . Be sure to order the papa rellena and ribs soup - the broth is amazing. Super customer service. Five stars!”
“We arrived on a busy Saturday morning. We were greeted and asked to be placed on a wait to actually order food for ten minutes and we were told to grab a seat. During that time a e were able to look at the menu and decide what we wanted. We went with a classic - chicken strips, egg and country gravy. And OH MY! It was sooo good. Choose to get the full waffle and you will not be disappointed!”
“The food is really great but I do wish they had some kind of system for not forcing every single order to be individually wrapped and put into a bag. I understand that they are probably trying to cut down on the need for dishwashers, but even simple lunch trays could really cut down on the waste being created from people eating there.”
“My favorite stop! The staff are so kind, the space is so inviting, and the options are so fun and delicious. It makes my ADHD brain so.happy. There are slushes and teas and jellies and poppers and WAFFLES. It’s amazing.”
“The service here was amazing. Once seated, Emily waisted no time ensuring we had all questions answered and promptly brought drinks out once we decided on what to order. When we ordered the food, the food was out within 10 minutes of us placing the order and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was calm and quiet with a variety of music playing. We sat on the patio with a nice breeze.”
“Great French food if you have the money! Sorry, the only pictures I took we the sorbet and the apricot tart!Vegetarian options: Available but not featuredDietary restrictions: GF, GFO, and V clearly labeled.Parking: Lots of free parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access”

Uliveto

“The food is delicious and very flavorful. The portions may be a little small depending on what you order, so be sure to ask about that. The "las costras" items are delightful, as are the tacos. It's tricky sometimes to get a table, but they have a lovely patio area and the vibe in general is very nice. Highly recommend putting in a reservation in advance if you can. Also, parking can be kind of tricky. We usually have to park on the street in front and there is a 2 hour time limit if you come before 6pm on certain days. There could be other places to park that we simply haven't found yet.All in all, highly recommend!”
“Definitely a spot to check out! Everything from start to finish was delicious! Sarah made us amazing drinks and gave us great recommendations. This will be one of our new go to spots!”
“The mexician dark lager and blue sky kolsch were delicious. The bartender seemed irritated that he had to serve us. He was not very helpful in answering a question with a question.”
“First time here and the food, drinks and service were great! Definitely will be back! Finding parking was a little challenge, but definitely worth it. We had the grilled calamari, cauliflower and scallops and shrimp. Delicious!!! Highly recommend!!”
“I love this restaurant so much. The food/drink, and service is always wonderful and leaves me feeling very satisfied! I have had several fabulous dinners here and I am always impressed by their creative menu. Wonderful service and experience everytime.”

Hobnob
“Had a great time here. It is very much like any pub I've been to in Ireland. Maybe it's because I went on a night unexpectedly with my wife to witness live music, and that was a treat. Had a lot of great beers, some cider and some stout, my favorites. The wings they have a seriously delicious. This is the pub to go to if you are in Richmond, best one I've tried so far. And again the music was just a delight, lots of people playing some old celtic folk tunes, including some of what I had heard during our time in some pubs in Ireland.”

“Delicious food for a very reasonable price. We ordered the short ribs and tenderloin, both amazing. Also had a unique and delicious cake. Cocktails were unexpected and worth every ”
“It is a very nice atmosphere for having dinner and drinks. Our lovely waitress Makeita made my experience great. She was very pleasant and provided great service to our party!”
“I just wanted to share what a wonderful meal I had at Kismet. They have limited vegan menu items - but we ordered all of them and shared them between my boyfriend and I.Every one was a knockout. So delicious. So beautifully played.”
“42$ Total for Twin Crab Cake Dinner! with collard greens & Grits…was ready in 20/25 mins. the broiled crab cake were amazing. The cheese grits are probably some of the best grits I’ve ever had in my life, the cornbread was soft & made just right.. everything was FRESH/HOT & well made. (the garlic in the collard greens i wasnt feeling it, ill get something else next time)”

“Pinky's is fabulous!Highlights:- Refreshing menu selection.- Excellent customer service.- Plenty of N/A bar options.- Beautiful, open layout in the dining room.Everything we ordered was great but I particularly enjoyed the Octopus and the Beet Salad.Highly recommend!”
“My second time being at amuse and enjoyed myself as much as the first time. The food is good and properly proportioned. Definitely a great ambience being in the VMFA. Nice place to have a nice meal and enjoy the fancy ambience.”
“We went for our anniversary. The food was phenomenal. We both did the four course meal which comes with good portions. Our server was Marco with a "C". He was absolutely awesome and took great of us. We can't wait to return!”
“Visited for the first time a few nights ago to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. One of the best meals I’ve had. Highly recommend.”
“I love this place! I came here last minute with a birthday party and they made accommodations for us. Michelle up front was particularly amazing in handling a large group of wild friends! Thank you and we all appreciate a great night :)”

Brenner Pass
“Food was delicious, we had the deep fried rabbit for two, the coating was outstanding, accompanied by spatzel and collards, both very good. Our favorites were the savory meatball, that sauce is so tasty, they should consider either adding another meatball or making it bigger! The desserts were also a standout, the chocolate pot du creme and the pecorino cake were fantastic.”
“WHAT A DELICIOUS MEAL!! The filet & lobster, shrimp & scallops were literally melt in your mouth! We had the steamed oyster combination as an appetizer... the Ruby Salts oysters were so sweet!! Thank you for the meal & the service was on point!!”
“What a gem of a Greek Restaurant in The Fan.Service was excellent, food was delicious., prices, reasonable. Parking can be hit or miss in The Fan, so take that into consideration.Definitely authentic. Will return.”
“I've been eating and enjoying a favorite beverage with friends (some of the same friends I might add!) for over 40 years. Yikes. Sure, it was "Phil's" then, but through the changes, it remains and retains a greatness that brings me back. Love the "Three Chopt Salad" (fav) and many of the other menu choices. I believe you will love The Continental Westhampton too!”
“This tea room is a 5 star, luxury experience! I personally know the owners and employees and they are amazing, genuine people! They have a great business that I recommend everyone check out if you are in or visiting the Richmond VA area! The atmosphere is so peaceful. My experience was unforgettable!”

“Great experience. Entertainment is excellent. The food is very good. Drinks are very good. It did take a long time for food to arrive. One suggestion is that the entertainers come all the way down the aisle before making a change in their outfits. If you are sitting against the wall, you can't see what is happening up by the door.”
“I was on the Southside of Richmond last week and was looking for somewhere different, but good to eat. Came upon this cute little place and decided to check it out on a whim, and I’m so glad that Idid.Never have. I ever had a lamb cheesesteak; but I’m so glad that I have an adventurous spirit, because that sandwich was absolutely delicious!! ? I had the garlic aïoli on the side which just made it even better, and I will definitely be giving it a second try to check out something different in the menu. The staff was also very kind and accommodating as I was on crutches.A little pricey for my glass of wine, but hopefully they have a happy hour too lol. I can easily see this being added to one of my favorite places to go.$$”

“I had wanted to dine here for a while, and it did not disappoint! Located in historic The Jefferson, the ambiance is simply divine. From start to finish, the food met all expectations, which were high. Well done.”
“I ate here last week. Not as good as I remembered, but still pretty good. Shrimp and grits were, good, not the best, but not bad 3.7 out of 5. Happy hour drinks were just okay too, the Paloma. I don't think I'll return anytime soon.”
“This was my cousin and my first time here and everything from entering the building to the ease of ordering was spectacular! We did have some recommendation’s from Chef Kristi on some wine pairings and they did not disappoint! We tried the GRECHETTO, which is a white wine and for my girlies and guys who love Sauvignon blanc or Pinot Grigio, you will love this!! We also tried the PINOT NERO and this was a hit!! I’m a red wine drinker and this was so smooth and full of flavor! We had the fried homemade mozzarella and the Parmesan risotto fries to start (thanks Chef) and they were perfect!! I ordered the Pappardelle with Sausage Ragu and instead of the salad I had the Pancetta and onion soup! The consistency, the flavor, the temperature of the soup, all perfect! The pasta was so fresh, the sausage had an amazing taste and the sauce was perfect! My cousin ordered the chicken Alfredo Alfredo and the chicken was seasoned perfectly!! The sauce to pasta ratio was spot on!! For dessert we had the limoncello marscapone cake and yall… the freshest, most moist slice of cake I’ve ever had! The flavor of the lemon was not too overpowering and it did not stand a chance on that table! 10/10 recommend!!”
“I ordered the steak and cheese egg rolls, honey garlic chicken, creme brule cheesecake, and a blood orange tamed mule. Everything was really good but the honey garlic chicken only tasted of balsamic vinegar. My favorite had to be the pgilly cheesesteak egg roll appetizer. The cheesecake had a nice crisp top and fruit sauce. I'd definitely go back to try more”

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. I went to the soft opening and it was just amazing but now the food is even better!! unique combination, southern cuisine, and New World fusion! So yummy.”
“Yvette catered our wedding of 160 people and did amazing! The paella was very affordable, dietary friendly (vegan and gluten free option) and beyond delicious. The serving process was extremely smooth (smoothest our day of coordinator has ever seen) and guests loved being able to watch the cooking process. It has been a month and our guests are still talking about how incredible the paella was and that they have never been so satisfied with wedding food before. Many of them even went back for 3rd and 4th servings and we had more than enough food for everyone (even leftovers!). We had a couple fly in from Spain who said "this is the real deal!". Thank you Yvette for making our day memorable!”

“I had the sirloin tacos and they were great! Very tender, flavorful, marinaded beef with a little homemade guacamole, lime and cilantro. Interesting, fresh salsas. Perfect. Nice people. Interesting decor. The "women owned" blah, blah, blah didn't even put me off even though I'm an old, crusty white man. That's how tasty everything was!”
“This place is small but whoever is behind the curtains Brings a powerful punch! Dale the bartender is great! But yet all the servers are wonderful! The sushi nachos are by far my favorite guilty pleasure for happy hour a quick meal and drink.? ”
“Really enjoyed our first time at this brewery. They have a lovely outdoor patio, a food truck (the pickle chips were ), and a delicious IPA that my husband really enjoyed! We will definitely be back!”
“Been wanting to go here for quite awhile. Finally happened upon it while driving down river rd. Was happy that I did. Did not sit outside as the weather was a bit chilly. But inside was still a nice ambiance as they have windows looking out onto the terrace. Will have to go back when I can be out. The parking lot was full, but there was still quite a few empty tables. We were there for lunch and the menu offered a fairly good choice. Sandwiches, soup, salads . I guess you could order off the big menu too. I had the caprese sandwich and the home cooked chips. A definite try if you like crispy chips. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich and broccoli potato soup. All of it was delicious and reasonably priced. We couldn't resist ordering espresso and tiramisu for dessert.Service was excellent. Bathroom large and clean.”
“I had the Chicken Tikka and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Juicy, tender and perfect spices. My daughter had the butter chicken. It was excellent as well. We will eat here every time we are in Richmond. Great service!Dietary restrictions: They had a large selection of vegetarian dishes. They also had a lot of poultry and fish dishes.”

“Visiting for a few days from NYC and came here for happy hour which is 4-7. My experience was perfect from start to finish. My server was so friendly and the decor inside was very fun and inviting. I ordered the tipsy gumbo and fried shrimp. While I was waiting I heard some ladies at the bar giving rave reviews of their food to the chef, which got me excited. Sure enough, the food was nothing short of spectacular. The gumbo was packed with spices and amazing flavor. The fried shrimp was next level—so crunchy yet so meaty and juicy on the inside. The sauce was a heavenly blend of sweet and a tinge of spicy. It was so good I had to get a second order. Chef said they’re working on producing the sauce for sale and I will definitely be buying it when it comes out.”
“No complimentary chips and salsa. Service is great and music is outstanding because they played salsa the whole time! Food was fast and delicious as well as good portions. We tried the margarita flights and they are delicious! I tried the chicken bowl. If you love coconut try the coco loco margarita.Tables were clean and place didn’t smell musty. Friendly service. Will return!”
“We had a lovely Easter brunch outside on the front patio. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Easy to check in to our reservation and they were able to accommodate our request to sit outside. Kids menu worked well for our 2 children (4&6) and my husband and I loved the grouper sandwich. Great experience and lovely setting.”
“My boyfriend and I were able to order from the food truck and it did not disappoint. I love plantains and Latin cuisine so this was perfect. I ordered the El Mayimbe Plantain sandwich and it was my favorite, the flavor was immaculate! My boyfriend's sandwich (El Tumbao) was also good. We ate our sandwiches so fast we ordered one more to share (El Chavo). 10/10 experience, service, and food. Absolutely will order here again!”
“The experience was great. We had a group of 9 and everything was awesome. I loved the fact that the food was hot when it came out, instead of loop warm like most places these days. The waitress was perfect for our group. Nice family and friends feel. I will tell people.”
“I am so so picky about coffee, and this is one of my all time favorites…definitely the best coffee in Richmond by FAR imo. Coffee is just deep and rich and so good! Atmosphere is clean and bright and staff is friendly and talented. We keep coming back !”
“GREAT service! Traveled down from PA and will be telling all my friends to go! They allowed us to buy a limited supply of sake to take home for our family back home and if they ever move north … I’m a REGULAR. Bartender was so sweet ?”

“Wish we had eaten here sooner! It was delicious and satisfying. We enjoyed the peppers and Buffalo mozzarella, taglatelli bolognaise, calamari squid ink pasta. The Gelato and tiramisu were perfect.”
“Last night my significant other and I celebrated his birthday in style by having dinner at Fleming's. The Service was great the Food was Exquisite and the Ambiance was Beautiful. Our server Trent J, was amazing. He was polite beyond measure, courteous and very attentive. Two other people came by our table to check on us, just to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Trust me when I say, we felt as if we were getting the "RED CARPET" treatment. This was my first visit to Fleming's but certainly will not be my last!!”
“It was a very nice, friendly and respectful restaurant. This was my first time. The food was awesome, drinks nice and servers were very attentive. I with my family will return. Of course, with that large group I will make reservations. Their repeat customers have their tables checked out. LOL. I will rate all the dishes as I eat them but my first Moussaka was excellent.”
“Food was "HOT" cooked perfectly and the portions were generous enough for 2.The only issue is the packaged tartar sauce was disgusting and did not compliment the high quality of food u prepare and serve. I have no idea what to make of the cocktail sauce that was made in house..not edible and not pretty.I believe the price of the food should cover decent low priced McCormick (some of the best) tartar and cocktail sauce for a fried fish and shrimp dinner @ 30.00.The "Yams" were delicious and "HOT". Fish and Shrimp cooked perfectly. Hushpuppies had a distinct flavor yummy 3 little ones were not enough...Mac and cheese was tasty!18% gratuity automatically applied..and the ladies are awesome.Food should be a 5 but if you like tartar and cocktail sauce u should get it and it should be good enough to put on the 5 star food u prepare.Bring your own condiments!Restrooms very clean.”

Laura Lee's
“Laura Lee's has become our absolute favorite spot in the neighborhood, and it's our top choice for both date nights and entertaining out-of-town guests. The restaurant has consistently exceeded our expectations, making it a go-to option for creating memorable experiences. One standout feature that sets Laura Lee's apart is their exceptional accommodation for dietary restrictions. As someone with gluten sensitivity, I appreciate the effort they put into ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to assist in tailoring dishes to meet specific dietary needs or address food allergies.Hands down, they boast the best cocktails on the Southside. The mixologists here are true artists, crafting unique and flavorful concoctions that never fail to impress. Each sip is a delightful journey through a symphony of tastes, and the presentation is equally as impressive. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a refreshing drink, Laura Lee's has something for everyone.Service at Laura Lee's is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about creating a positive dining experience. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave, you feel well taken care of.”
“Love this place. The beer list is extensive and excellent. The food menu is big enough to have something for everyone but focused enough for it to be top tier brew pub food. This will be a go to place for us.”
“Came in for the first time. Austin was my server!!! He helped me pick out the perfect sandwich. Phenomenal service!! Very polite and helpful with menu!!! I'll definitely be back! ?”
“Wow, totally wow. The Barrel Proof Wellers Whiskey was unreal, best whiskey I’ve ever had. Daniel is not a bartender he is a connoisseur of spirits unlike any other. Must try the smoked Duck breast, you’ve never ever had Duck until you’ve had it here. Definitely an absolute Richmond gem.”
“This place was so adorable and the food was great! Due to dietary restrictions, I can't have much rice, so I asked for a Philly roll without rice, which is a strange request, I'm sure haha. They did a great job!Dietary restrictions: They were willing to alter the sushi roll to fit my needs. Thank you!”
“Great selection of beer. We got there too late to enjoy the brats, but a food truck on site was nice. They also had a bunch of canned beer and I brought some home to enjoy later. Very nice brewery, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, definitely worth a visit.”

“Review based on DoorDash delivery Corned Beef Hash Sammie: Corned Beef, Cheddar Cheese, Egg, Hash Browns, Lou's Special Sauce, on a soft roll 5 for $12.65 Original Breakfast Sandwich: Bacon, Ham with Egg, American Cheese, Hash Browns, Lou's Special Sauce, on Dutch crunch bread”
“Enoteca Sogno sets the bar for excellent Italian cuisine in Richmond. Tucked away in a nondescript building in Bellevue, this cozy, welcoming restaurant offers incredibly delightful Italian dishes and a robust wine list. I was DD but I heard great things about the Moscato wine. We ordered the robiola cheese to start, which came with their super lovely homemade bread. We needed a second helping of that. Even the olive oil was clearly high quality. For my meal, I opted for the crespelle pasta special, which was basically like a pasta crepe with spinach, bechamel, and cheese with marinara. It was so good and not sickeningly filling, which was an added plus. It let me save room for their lemon mascarpone cake for dessert! Service was prompt and friendly. I was glad we were able to score a table on a rainy Wednesday evening. For busier times, I'd definitely book a reservation.”
“We checked this place out to celebrate completing our move to Richmond recently. I always enjoy this type of steakhouse environment and The Tobacco Company did not disappoint. Old school vibes, great food, and great service. We sat at the bar for both drinks and dinner. Dinner was great, even though my wife and I switched dishes after they arrived. Just had a change of appetite! But the scallops and prime rib were both great.”
“Love the food! Flavorful and they always get the spice level just right. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. We love the ambiance there and it is kid friendly. We love coming here for a nice family dinner.”
“Brilliant experience! We couldn’t fault it in any way. The bar tender who serviced us (Collin) made our experience extra special.Would highly recommend this amazing restaurant - definitely make the most out of Happy Hour!!”
“Whether you are looking for a new Brewery to try out, or just want to enjoy a pint with a phenomenal atmosphere, RIchbrau Brewing is the place to go! Among the many breweries in the City of Richmond, Richbrau is definitely my favorite! The atmosphere of the street it is on, and the interior give major industrial vibes, and I quite like that! So, if you're in the RVA area, be sure to stop in to Richbrau for a Pint!!!!”
“My guy Ryan and his knowledable staff always hooks us up with health-conscious food ideas and juices. It's hard to go back to my local super market when these juices are so good. Affordable and tastes phenomenal. Definitely grateful to him and the staff for setting up in downtown Richmond.”
“This establishment offers a delightful dining experience for those seeking an exquisite sushi meal. The seafood is impeccably fresh, while the appetizers are delectable in taste. The service provided is commendable, and the ambiance exudes a charming and intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend this establishment to those in search of exceptional Asian cuisine in the Richmond, Virginia area. I personally look forward to returning in the future!”
“What a great venue. I went to see the group Strage Love, a Depeche Mode cover band. They had the sound and energy to deliver a great show. Their version of Enjoy The Silence and Personal Jesus were my Favorites.”

Hot Pot 757
“Had a great family dinner at the HotSpot 757. It was a very diffirent and unique way to spend a special night. The restaurant offers two ways to cook your food. One is using a hot plate to boil soup that you add a variety of different meats, vegetables and dumplings. The type of soup I ordered was Chinese Szechuan. Although it tasted awesome it was really hot. I’ve been eating Szechuan for years and never experienced a hot version like this one. You can also cook raw meat to you choosing on the center piece table grill. I ordered the spicy pork and beef and both were delicious. There is also fresh fruit and different sauces located in the center of the restaurant for you to enjoy.”
“The food was perfection. The cocktails delicious and the atmosphere is vibey and cozy. Get the chocolate mousse. They were very busy and hustling hard. We were a 4 top and told our table was reserved for two hours which was a good heads up since we were meeting up with old friends and didn’t want to feel rushed.Wheelchair accessibility: It is not wheelchair accessible”
“Great food for me... though hubby said the shrimp he ordered was fried too crispy, which he is a big fan of seafood, especially shrimp.Dietary restrictions: I cannot tolerate shell fish but I had the baked fish instead which had a delightful taste. Quite enjoyable. Though I had to inquire if any of the non shell fish on the menu had contact / cooked /fried with any of the shelled fish menu items due my severe allergic reaction to any shell fish items.”
“My boyfriend and I came to the Savory Grain to celebrate our 7 year anniversary last night. Highly recommend making a reservarion (super easy to do online) as it was busy when we arrived at 7:15pm. It was our first time here but the food, atmosphere, and service were all AMAZING. Our server Kim was phenomenal and made it a truly great experience. The food was cooked to perfection and their cocktails are unique AND delicious. Can't wait to come back to try more.”
“Okay So This One Is Lengthy But PLEASE READ !! I’ve Eaten Here 3 Times (2 Delivery 1 Dine In ) Before & Never Had A Issue Before The Incident That Took Place On 2/15/24. I Decided To Order Delivery Because They Are Just A Little Cheaper Then Competitors & I Like How They Plate It In The Pans. This Time Everything Was Going Smooth Until I Noticed An Issue With My Crablegs. I Called The Store Immediately. I Thought I Was Getting The Normal Run Around But The Owner Actually Did Reach Out & Went Out His Way To Make Things Right ! That Really Shocked Me ! He Did Make Things Right ! For His Courtesy I Just Wanna Say This is The Place To Eat With Your Family & Get A Great Boil & Seafood ! Because He Made Things Right I Will Continue To Support This Business ! I Just Felt Like This Should Be Shared Because The Way He’s Involved In His Business & He Went Above & Beyond To Make Things Right It’s Seriously Unbelievable”
“First time visiting Big Whiskey. So I didn't get the servers' or owners' names. But we sat at the bar, and our server was knowledgeable about their drink offerings . The food was excellent, and you could smell and taste the smokey flavor in the meats, which is rare these days. I will definitely return.”

“Yet another fantastic Richmond eatery. Super-nice employees who went out of their way to inform me of the artist whose works adorn their walls. The Eggs Benedict was fantastic.”
“Always an amazing time. Thank you, Robert for always making my friends and I welcome. Thoroughly enjoy grabbing a take home dish for the next day or the veggie wrap for lunch!”

“The restaurant is always busy, but you will still get great customer service. The food is delicious, and the drinks are great. I always dine in or take out when I'm in the area. The prices are very reasonable.”
“Truly a five star experience! From the homemade cornbread, decadent pimento cheese fried green tomatoes, to the fish stewed in sweet potato puree and finally the the toffee cake with homemade ice cream; this place is an absolute treat. Excellent service and food.”

“I’ve never left a McDonald’s review before but I felt the need to do this one. This McDonald’s ALWAYS does a good job. I don’t know if just always go at a good time but the food is hot and fresh. And they’re always fast! Plus nobody usually has a bad attitude.”
“First and foremost: this is a kosher dairy restaurant inside a bingo and poker hall. Kosher restaurants don't serve meat and dairy together so you won't find any "grill" food here. However, as a kosher traveler I was really happy to find this place (the only kosher restaurant in the area). The service was really good, the server was super nice and attentive. I had a Caesar salad with grilled salmon and it was very good. This place was just what I needed after living off of snacks for the better part of a week without access to a kosher restaurant. I would definitely come back if I were in the area again...thank you for being here!”
“Roy’s Big Burger has been serving old fashioned hamburgers in Richmond, VA since 1961. It's touted as a Richmond institution, by staying the course and simply serving burgers and fries and a few extras, like chicken sandwiches and fried pickles. Take out only, though seating is available outdoors near the building. I felt the burger joint vibe and ordered a single 1/4 pounder with cheese, "all-the-way", and a small order of fries. After picking up my brown paper bag of food, I had to eat at a picnic table while the sun warmed me on this cool Feb afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see the size of my purchase with a handful of ketchup packets for the fries, which were great! The burger was juicy and tasty and loaded with everything. It was a great basic meal that was both filling and satisfying.”
“Danielle, the waitress, was FABULOUS!! She was extremely helpful in her suggestions and really took care of our party of 5. She was warm and welcoming, which made our time pleasurable. The food was great and my recommendation will be the catfish and cabbage - hands down!! Thanks for a wonderful experience and we'll definitelybe back!!”
“I had the pleasure of having a surprise party for my wife's 50th Birthday on 3/16/2024. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the amazing job Ron Stallings and The Speakeasy/Hippodrome staff did for my party. The food was DELICIOUS!! The service was prompt and professional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The final product truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a venue for an event.”
“Food was solid bar fare. Service could have been a disaster but somehow Tyler was able to keep things moving despite being the only server in the crowded restaurant. He did an excellent job communicating and managing expectations. 5 stars for him!”
“Best gelato in town, very reasonableprices and a huge selection. The service is always great and super friendly. They somehow even remember what flavors we like. We try to make it in at least once a week.”
“Grabbed a couple of hot dogs and some tater tots for lunch. I tried the Cincinnati Dog and the Richmond Dog. The buns were light and fluffy, the dogs had a great snap, and the tots were crispy and well seasoned. I was not a fan of the chili on the Cincinnati Dog but the chili on the Richmond Dog was exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely be back!”
“I would like to say that my experience at Hawks BBQ At South Side plaza was amazing. I was greeted with the most beautiful smile by Mrs. Queen. The food was on point and the vibe was soothing with the great old school music that played. I ordered a pig feet dinner with potato salad and collared greens and everything was great,”
“Food was "HOT" cooked perfectly and the portions were generous enough for 2.The only issue is the packaged tartar sauce was disgusting and did not compliment the high quality of food u prepare and serve.
“Tacos were excellent! So were the pupusas. We did not get other items. The service was quick too. Although they are authentic Mexican food truck, I thought it was interesting they served sour cream with their tacos.”
“This ice cream place is amazing. We tried four different flavors and they were off the chart and original flavors. Very fun place to take the family for ice cream. It's well worth the drive if you live outside the city or youre traveling by.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to access the facility with chair or sticks. The parking lot had plenty of close spaces.”
“We discovered Belle Isle when at Kings Dominion, of all places… we immediately went out and bought a bottle. So happy to finally check out the tasting room! Cozy and friendly vibes. Low-key. Get here now and enjoy some tasty moonshine!Side Note:The Honey Habanero is great for margaritas!”

“Happy hour Monday-Friday 2 to 5The food was good, and I really enjoyed the crab, shrimp, and lobster bisque. But service immediately dropped off when we started ordering from the Happy Hour menu. So that's all we ordered and left for dinner elsewhere.”
“Came to celebrate my birthday and he was super nice and funny. He gave great recommendations for food and the service was amazing as well. The food was really good! This definitely goes down as one of the best nights in awhile! Thank you Sam!!!!”
“The server was slower than normal. The gaucho's serving the meat was on point, providing special requests in a timely manner. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. The server providing drinks had to be reminded of drinks needed refilled. Overall, using the discount card every one ate for around $40 each including non-alcoholic drink and tip.”
“We had reservations at another place. They had mixed up our reservation and cancelled. We then made reservations here. They accommodated us even though we were early and the food was great. The server was great as well.”
“The service was great at Short Pump and the food was delicious. Called the manager Nicholas before I went about some concerns, and he took care of me.I had called the Belvedere Square 1st because it was a party of 8. The manager there said he could not accommodate me. Don't want to say here what my request was.”
“Ambrielle S. was our server. She was so very kind and helpful. She made great suggestions for food and drinks. She really went above and beyond. Great experience, food was great, margaritas were fabulous. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the booths are comfy.Wait time was excessive due to staff shortage.”
“The food and service are superb. The fried calamari and chicken are delicious. And the she crab soup is one of the best. I tried not to fill up on the garlic bread, but that was difficult. I would highly recommend it.”
“First time here. It's our anniversary. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Our server(Jake) was friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and even gave us some recommendations. We definitely will be returning!”
“Met up with friends for happy hour drinks and appetizers! Great drinks and food. Our waitresses Amani and Amanda were attentive, engaging, and provided great service!”
“We absolutely loved Gavin! He was amazing. He helped us with the menu and told us about the many games and areas in the facility! Thanks Gavin! He’s the best!!!!!Kid-friendliness: Pretty cool environment!”
“Everything was excellent as usual except the server was not up to standards expected of Mosaic. We asked for split checks for our group of three and he either did not know how to do it or did not want to do it. He did try to redeem himself later when he offered to do it. However, we had already figured how we would handle it. This seems like a trivial matter but it sours the perception of the service and by extension the restaurant. We will continue to patronize the restaurant and will ask for the manager the next time.”
“Haven't been to the downtown location, but Tarrant's West was a great experience. The service was exceptional and the food really topped it all off. Took my parents to dinner and they loved it. Thank you to all of the wonderful people at Tarrant's West who helped us. ❤️”
“Oh dear, my oyster experience here was not a good one. Instead of sweet, juicy morsels of chewy goodness we were served dried, stringy oysters full of grit and pieces of shell. I can do better at home. This was to be a highlight of our trip and yet was a huge disappointment. Paella was okay, especially the Socarrat. Again shrimp and mussels were overcooked. Seafood chef take note.”
“Can Can gets 4.4 or 4.5 stars and that’s about right. Some of their food may very well be the best you’ve had in a month or more and worth the price. There’s also a chance some item might come out that isn’t right or to your liking, and you might want to ask for something else. There are other upscale French restaurants nearby open with even higher reviews, but feel free to give Can Can a try. Unlike the others, Can Can is easier to get into and isn’t just open for dinner. The French cafe atmosphere and decor with white tiles and authentic cold solid aluminum bar surface (a reclaimed antique I think?) is pretty cool. It’s conveniently? located in Carytown, though you sometimes have to look for parking. The place is noisy and hard to hear when busy, due to the antique Richmond tin ceiling tiles and high airy ceiling. The lunch menu is fairly different than the dinner menu. We prefer the latter. In the afternoon between lunch and dinner they say they’re open but the menu is more limited. We’ve never liked their grilled/seared fish over the years. It can be overcooked, lacking in flavor, or sometimes fishy. We avoid it.Their frites / fries are delicious and huge servings. Be aware they don’t have A1 steak sauce or anything similar. The bread they serve is great. Our dinner didn’t come with bread and butter last time. Also great are their baked goods (croissants etc.) and Lavazza coffee drinks sold at the bar. (Try the cold brewed, it’s smooth like chocolate milk.) If you get there after 3pm or 4pm they might sell you the day’s pastries at deep discounts. The desserts aren’t cheap ($10-$14) but they’re good. Check out the ice cream. Today’s flavors included brandy date, which suggests the ice cream may be artisan and/or specially made in house or local. The steak tartare appetizer was quite good and again a HUGE serving for the price. It wasn’t ground or flat cutlets but large cube chunks. It tasted like rare beef (roast beef, steak or burger) with light caper flavor.I didn’t care for the small raw clams which were tender and priced at just $6 for 6 but tasted like ocean water. Maybe that’s just me.Something was wrong with the iced tea they served us. It was bitter and muddy in color — you couldn’t see through it at all. Surprising that would happen in an upscale place, but we sent it back and got something else. Not a huge deal.”
“Danielle, the waitress, was FABULOUS!! She was extremely helpful in her suggestions and really took care of our party of 5. She was warm and welcoming, which made our time pleasurable. “Amazing Pho. Been following this family around the Richmond area since they were initially by the small place at the corner of Horsepen and Broat St. Always fresh and delicious. The best Pho in VA! Believe me when I say that we truly look for Pho place to eat at every week. So glad they're now in Midlo!”
“incredible! Hands down the best chicken you'll find in the Richmond area. A huge selection of entrees and sides, and the portions are enormous. Perfection.”
“What a great tapas place! Was not expecting to find a very authentic Spanish spot on Cary. Great selection of meats, cheeses, and booze. Great service as well. Reminds me of being in Madrid! Great interior as well.”
“Why look for cake or dessert when theres nothing BUNDT CAKES! Delightful desserts that will make your mouth water when you walk in the door. Lots of flavors to choose from, you can have them frosted or not! Our fam favorite is to get a box of Bundtinis! A glorious box full of goodness for everyone to share.Amazing and helpful staff! They are super welcoming and make you feel like you’re in their own home bakery.Do yourself a favor. Get your Bundt here asap.”
“I'm so pleased we another black own restaurant in the metro Richmond area. this restaurant has a great ambiance and the serv is amazing. This food is great as well. You definitely have to try this new restaurant. The menu is diff which makes it stand out as well. I love the diverse atmosphere they display. The owner and staff ia so welcoming from entry. The staff has a smile on their face while providing top notch service. I will show my face more often. Looking forward wine down Wednesday, Happy hour and first Friday events. Congratulations. Keep up the good work!”
“Was visiting Richmond and this gem popped up in a vegan google search. Tried the cheesy chickpea tuna wrap and my friend had the jerk mushroom cheese melt wrap, absolutely delicious. Chef’s kiss! Next time I’m in Richmond, will definitely eat here again. Can’t wait until they become a stand alone.”
“First time here. It's our anniversary. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Our server(Jake) was friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and even gave us some recommendations. We definitely will be returning!”
“I was excited to see the Canes on Arthur Ashe Blvd.. Definitely a different type of fast food in the area. I just went through the drive thru and my order was taken swiftly. The young woman who took my order was friendly. The ambiance of pulling into the drive thru was a little cramped. It is understandable though because of the location. I wish it had more than one entrance and exit. As you try and exit you block those coming in. The combo I got was good. I live the cane sauce it really set off the chicken. Good experience I'll return and go inside to eat .”
“Place has the best chicken sandwich! Be careful of the heat level you pick cause honestly they truly do get hot!!Also to all the people who left the reviews about the wings 2 months ago…. You realize this business had just opened? Like brand new location, new staff… show a little grace! It also seems everyone from that party took the time to write a review, which is silly.Place is awesome and they’re still brand new, they’ll only continue to get better and better.”
“Excellent experience on 3/23/24. Everything was clean and Marvin was in top of it! Friendly and quick service even with a full bar and mostly full dining area. Thanks!”
