This was really good fish and chips. The calamari was ehhhh....the prawns delicious! Glad we have a good fish and chips near by. The tartar sauce was a nice compliment. They deliver a clean set of ketchup, tartar sauce and cocktail sauce dispensers with every order. You know how they can get greasy!
We ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. It was a little over $8.25. Per plate. The fish looked like 2 big pieces, but it was almost all breading. Very little fish. The staff were nice, but it was not worth the money. The breading soaked up a lot of grease, so it was very greasy. We will eat here again.
First time here and got a number 3. It was very good with the exception of the fries. The were nothing fancy and we're soft and had no flavor. Overall I would come back but ask for my fries cooked longer.
Food is excellent, but hours are a little weird in that they stop serving everything but carry out orders half an hour before they close and they can be kind of rude about the cut off. Stand in line for 15 minutes and it is now 7:25, sorry, no food for you if you wanted to eat at a table here! Not hugely problematic, but I don't bother coming unless I can make it by 7, in case there is a line.
Great fish and chips. Not too greasy. Homemade tartar sauce is yummy. Zucchini was great, deep fried with thick cut slices that allow you to bite into a firm, not soggy, piece of vegetable. Super friendly and helpful staff. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table.

Pros * Great people * Clean environment (for being a butcher) * Gentleman there worked very fast * Mathematically, you do receive a discounted price buying a "package deal". Cons * A bit overpriced for some meat (4 drumsticks for $5?! Tri Tip: @10 a pound!) * Quality on some meat seemed below the USDA Choice label on the package. I wouldn't mind the price if the quality of the meat was on par. I can easily grill up a juicy, tender, medium rare steak . But when I've grilled up meat from here even medium rare cooked to perfection, its dry and the texture of the meat was just.....odd. Overall Really nice butcher. Who knows maybe I just got a bad batch of meat, grill wasn't working right, or marinade didn't pare well. Who knows. I don't want to discourage anyone going here. Definitely give them a shot. Just sharing my experience thats all. I might give them 1 more try with their "Summer BBQ Package" but my doubts are there.
Super nice folks! I didn't catch his name but he set me up with everything I needed to use my new smoker for the first time. I got the pork belly and everything I needed to cure it. The bacon I cured and smoked turned out perfect thanks to him! Thank you!
Best butcher in town traveled all the way from Sacramento to get meat from this place nice people clean store great customer service
Best quality and selection of meat, seafood and condiments! A rare jewel.
5 stars!!! Forget about the boutique grocers who have come to town,, Roseville meats has everything you could possibly want and more - for decades! Here are the "home run" items - (in my opinion). Original seasoning Tri-tip Chili-lime skirt steak Prime Rib with original seasoning Brannigan Fresh Turkey Kobe (Waygu) Burgers Plus so much more!!! Always open - even on Sunday!

It's really good. The service is casual. They forgot to bring the tortillas with my Carne asada. But, for me, Mexican food restaurants come down to the rice and beans. Their rice is fluffy and the beans have great flavor with a touch of spiciness. So good! Prices reflect the area.
My husband and I LOVE this place! They have the best breakfast burritos in town! We stop here 2-4 times a week and the food is consistently delicious! The authentic mexican flavor that they pack into their food is amazing & the salsa bar is my favorite anywhere!
Ordered California burritos and they gave us ...super burritos? IDK, they didn't have fries or potatoes in them but just about everything else. They were delicious, just not what I ordered. I expected a lot better service for $10 a pop. Inside is very clean and staff was nice. Would recommend you dine-in
This is real mexican food and they have a Mariachi band playing on the weekend. Employees are all very nice and the restrooms were extremely clean. They offer many specials on some meals.
Nice people, but the food is meh. Better taquerias all over the Sac area.

Food was great as always. Had BBQ white tuna, puff daddy, Japanese mafia, etc.. Sitting was a issue this time. We (5 of us) were squeezed into a small table, due to being super busy, but when we were leaving, all the tables around were still empty...and I am a blue Kokki club club holder, that didn't matter, as I am not a black card holder!!! Left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth, totally could gave been worked out, instead they just smiled and said nothing can be done. Poor customer service can ruin even the best tasting food. Taro wouldn't be happy...
I got the Japanese Mafia roll and while it was good, it wasn't anything spectacular. The pork dish was good but the noodle had no flavor. Our waiter was slow in getting to us at the bar.
Four stars for the food bumped down to two for the lack of service. Stopped in to get some Japanese 'tapas' and the experience started out great. The server came right over, took our drink order, came back with a pitcher of amazing Pineapple Mojitos and took our food order. Then, while we were enjoying our wonderful Pineapple Mojito pitcher (try them, SO good) some random guy dropped off two of our sushi rolls -- no plates, no wasabi, no little dishes, no nothing. As we sat there for five minutes waiting for someone to look over.... another random (but different guy) dropped off our last item which was little chicken nugget things. We asked him for some plates, wasabi, soy dishes... took them five minutes to bring back. Seriously people, without the wasabi and dishes for the soy what are we supposed to do with those sushi rolls? The server checked on us right before... you guessed it, we were finished and it was TIP time! I might come back if in the area for the food but certainly not the service.
This place is absolutely amazing, with the most delicious food. Now... What made the experience over the top wonderful was the accommodations they, and specifically Taylor, made on our behalf. I am unable to have rice and she made sure to help find ways to substitute the menu items to help me, and the chefs had no problem changing it up for my very high maintenance requests. We were already amazed at the service when we had casually made the comment of being allergic to avocado. The next roll came out and she had apologized for taking so long, 'they had cleaned all the boards and utensils so there would be no contamination'. By far one of the best dining experiences ever. If we could give more stars, we would.
Came here for lunch with my 2 year old son. It was a beautiful day and we asked to be seated outside. I love the sun shades they have out there! The staff was nice and the bento box lunch for kids is great! My roll was very tasty as well. It did take them a while to bring the kids meal, but other than that great lunch date with my boy;)

First time at this restaurant. I thought the food was a little too spicy. I got the chicken and rice plate. It was on the pricier side. But the upside is the service staff was courteous and helpful.
Great food and a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Chaufa is an amazing fried rice dish and all of the appetizers are delicious.
Food is fantastic! The ceviche is absolutely is everything else I have tried. Happy hour is a great way to sample a variety of dishes for a good price. When there for lunch on Saturday, they had a great guitarist there playing.
Went to LH when it opened and was underwhelmed. Decided to try it again recently. Excellent!! The Lomo Saltado is super. A signature dish!!! Loved the Mango Caesar Salad as well. My kids ate everything and have been asking to go back. I feel like it's a tad pricey, but a return visit awaits!!
So delicious!! We go anytime we are in the Roseville area and sometimes drive all the way from South Sac just because I am craving their ceviche. The flavors are so bright and fresh you just can't imagine-- you have to try it! The prices are reasonable because the portions are large. The service is always thoughtful, considerate and charming as well.
