The best bar food in America. We wandered in on a Saturday night and the place was packed. A 15min wait was over in five minutes. We sat in a very comfortable booth amidst a charming bar as comfortable as a perfect pair of shoes. The server was great and fast, but the food was remarkable.

I can’t tell you how many time I have ordered a fried seafood platter from a “seafood joint” hoping for delight but receiving mediocrity. Not here. It was spectacular. The crab cakes, fresh, huge cooked perfectly with no discernible breading. The fish cooked perfectly. The shrimp while small, obviously fresh, perfectly fried and utterly delicious. The fried okra was spectacular. After all that you would think I could eat no more but I had a few bites of a dessert that was equally spectacular. Delicious, rich but not too sweet.

All in all I was completely blown away. It felt like a chef had opened a bar instead of a bar deciding to cook food. A real gem. You cannot go wrong. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Just stopped in for a beverage at the beginning and end of a ride around the lake. Great little place. Outstanding & friendly service. Highly recommend.

We visited on a friday night at 8pm. Luckily, there were 2 seats at the bar because this place was packed!The bartender got to us right away and was awesome. We ordered wings for an appetizer. Came quickly, and the wings were AWESOME!I got the French dip, and my bf got the shrimp quesadilla. 7/10 on both.We also ordered margaritas as always. 9/10. Asked for natural AND described what they meant. He still added sweet and sour mix but it wasn't overwhelming. Not favorite but surprisingly good.Would definitely go back.

We took our 3 girls to dinner here. While semi typical "bar food", it was GOOD bar food. We didn't break into the steaks, but the burgers were enjoyed by the whole fam. We look forward to another meal here.

Good atmosphere Hospitality. Had to wait about 30 minutes but it was worth it. Love their hamburger steak and fried okra. Best place to eat in Camden.

Driving to NC from Texas. Camden was a perfect stopping point. The hotel desk recommended Steeplechase, and it was awesome. Great wings and Philly Cheesesteak!

Celebrated my Birthday there it was great. My family were surprised how nice everything was so good, service & cake. Patrick Davis and Rusty & band. My Facebook pictures had plenty of hits.
