I have mixed feelings. Our first visit was over a decade ago and it was wonderful. Our anniversary was yesterday and it was an ok experience. We sat in the courtyard AB’s was placed under the above heater. We started smelling gas and the heat never reached the table area. So we were freezing. The appetizers were wonderful. The couple got seated next to us ten minutes after us and received their food first. Was told about different and best food options and a dessert menu. We were not given either. Bbq in the shrimp and grits was over powering any other flavor. Husband got fish and grits and it was excellent. Not a 0 but I’m in no hurry to go back or recommend to anyone else. Ruined my anniversary to be honest….

Absolutely stunning atmosphere. We sat in the outdoor garden area which we requested. Service was perfect, food was impeccable. I had the Roasted Duck and he had the Jambalaya…both were the best we had ever tasted. Definitely a place to go to when in Charleston. Cannot wait to go again!

Booked this place on a whim while on a girls trip to Charleston. We ordered from the guest appreciation week menu, which was awesome. The food was incredible! I had the she crab soup, the barbeque shrimp and grits, and my friend and I shared our two desserts (a lemoncello marscapone cake and some kind of caramel turtle cheesecake). My friend had the queen's salad and braised short rib and she loved both (the word she used was "magnificent" - I had bites of both as well and they were excellent). Very impressed with every single bite of food! Our server, Myles, was incredibly kind and polite and provided us fantastic service. The space was beautiful and thoughtfuly decorated. It had rained so we didn't really see the courtyard, but it looked lovely! We will definitely be back next time we're in Charleston!!

I visited 82 queen back in October and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff all were and very accommodating to any special requests/allergens. I loved the shrimp and grits as well as the she crab soup. There is also very beautiful scenery on the outside.

Love 82 queen! I've been going for decades and take out of town guests here every year. This time we filled out the date wrong on the phone app, and they fixed it for us on arrival this Saturday. Very cool!! Great food with the old Charleston feel. ?

What an amazing restaurant! My wife and I went here for our first time and it was amazing. The food was so good and we had a great time here. The service was very good and we enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant is so big and offers plenty of spacing all through out the property.

The service and atmosphere were quite nice. My husband got the salmon special and it was delicious. I got the duck and was underwhelmed. It was pretty dry and a bit tough. I probably wouldn't eat here again.

A tasty brunch spot. I think brunch is better than dinner.

We had no reservation for dinner on a Saturday. Yet they accommodated us and our server Ashley was wonderful. We went there upon recommendation by our local walking tour guide for a tomato pie and we were delighted we tried it ! Ambience was real nice in a private room with couple more guests. It's a family restaurant and not formal so, we had nice experience. Highly recommend if you are in downtown Charleston

Best meal and experience while in Charleston! Five of us were in Charleston for a long weekend and let me tell you we had some great meals. 82 Queen was the favorite among all of us. Jason was amazing, his recommendations and attention to details were spot on, he was engaging and fun! The food and drinks were out of this world and ambiance was perfectly Charleston!
The tomato pie and crab cakes, the Fish and Grits, the BBQ shrimp and grits and the jambalaya were outstanding! The pecan pie and bread pudding totally worth the calories.
Don’t miss this restaurant!!!

The food here is astounding! I very much enjoyed the jambalaya. It is pricey, but totally worth it.

Parking: Queen Street Parking garage is the most convenient location to park, but you will have to pay by the half hour.
