Broken hearted to get our very last box of THE BEST PASTRIES in this city, hands down. Thank you, Brown's Court, each and every one of you, for the love and art in every single item you've made. It's been an honor!! (Please come back! Miss you already!)

Usually this place is great!! Their coffee is wonderful and their baked goods are to die for (try the rosemary and sea salt bagel.) Unfortunately, three stars for the super rude employee who seemed more annoyed that a customer was there than anything. He gave us 1/2 the correct order but there were other patrons waiting in line, so I will admit we did not bring the mistake to his attention. Hopefully he has a better day but I was really excited for one of the pastries I’d ordered and it was a bit of a bummer to discover the mistake :/

Such a cute little bakery. It was a bit of a challenge to find parking on the street but found a spot after a couple minutes. As we walked up the patio you could smell the fresh baked breads and cookies. The brown sugar iced coffee was absolutely divine.

Awwww ye, this place is legit. Just amazing simple coffee and pastry to kick start your day ?

Probably one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. Went there several times during our stay in Charleston. The croissants are wonderful!

Great little bakery, excellent stop to start your day. Got breakfast here all 3 days I was in Charleston and they did not disappoint.

The bakery is good, but they probably won’t have the item you’re looking for on the day you go. Instead you will get a $6 bagel and then be asked to tip.

Came right when they opened on a Saturday. Everyone was really friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and it's great to be able to see the people in the back making the baked goods. Iced latte was good and I got an assortment of pastries (croissants, danishes, muffins) and everything was absolutely delicious! It's a bit pricey but good pastries always are since it's so hard to actually get them rightWe will certainly be back!

Had been coming here for nearly a year. They just opened an inside area and out of nowhere the prices nearly doubled. $8 for a chocolate croissant is highway robbery. Doesn’t even cost that much in Switzerland let alone Charleston SC. Very sad to see such a great place just switch scenes and start taking advantage of price gouging.

A subtle driveway/porch entrance understates one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had...and I've sampled a lot. Get there early to make sure you beat the crowd...the cinnamon rolls sell out quickly.

Visited this bakery on 8/16/23. When we got home we realized sourdough bread they sold us wasn’t fresh… I suspect it was leftover from the previous day’s stock.Chocolate croissant was pretty good.

My roommate got the number of one of the workers and she never texted him back. They have really good pastries here so it’s a shame that we can never ever come back. Had to leave a one star out of solidarity for my bro.

If you're staying in the upper historic district, multiple trips to Brown's is a must. The food quality is so high and the young ladies are so helpful and nice. Even a plain croissant is amazingly tasty. It became a daily habit for me to make the short walk from King Street.

Went here with my mom and it's a nice little outdoor stand area. They sell little treats and coffee that taste nice. The service is nice and quick and the staff is friendly. Overall, it is a nice little place to go for a wake up call in the morning!Recommendation:I recommend getting the donuts-they come with five sugary donut holes and is perfect for 2-5 people (or you can just eat them all yourself)

You order from the porch of this bakery- no seating. They have some coffee with different syrups. Teas and an assortment of pastries. My friends lavender donut was yummy but the two danishes we got were not the best. Overall pretty average local spot.
