Wow. I make it a point to visit the Indian restaurants in my area over time and to try them all. This one had 3.8 stars at the time of my review and I have to say, that's generous. The lady took *forever* to bring our food, and when she did bring it, the serving size was about half of what I was expecting and basically alot of grease. The check took just as long because she wouldn't come out from the back. She never asked us if we want water and I had to ask for it when she brought our meals. It was bottled water, but I just wanted a glass. The mango lassi was $4 and was in a 6 oz glass (tiny). This isn't their fault, but there was no parking, as well.I felt a sense of relief when we finally were able to leave. Would never want to return.

Absolutely delicious! I went to Shalimar today and tried the korma chicken and dal paneer. I enjoyed it very much and they were so kind. I will definitely be coming back.

Hands down the worse "Indian" restaurant in Columbia. Maybe even South Carolina. I ordered butter chicken, basmati rice, and garlic naan. The butter chicken was cut up into little bits like dog food. There was no authentic flavor and there was so much oil sitting on top. There was no spice. It literally just tasted like chicken smothered in unsalted butter with added food color. Not sure who owns this place but you should really go back to the drawing board. This is not it. Rice doesnt need that much garnish. You should wrap the naan in aluminum foil when people are ordering take out. The portion was also very small. I paid $13 and it looked like a kids meal. Not worth it.

I was so excited to try this because it was located right next to campus. I ordered take out butter chicken. It came out right away which was great but the sauce tasted like butter and tomatoes. There was hardly any strong curry flavors and was very oily, not creamy at all. They were very nice though but the food wasn't great.

I never had such bad Ali gobi from a place where the cooks were from India. The whole thing tasted watery, not fresh, the potatoes were definitely many days old.Even the rice was just not legit.Naan bread was very greasy

One of the worst Indian places I ordered from, ever. Ordered on Ubereats and not only was the food horrible, but the packaging was beyond terrible and shoddy. Keep away from this place - in person or online ordering.
Excellent food. I had the beef and butter chicken. The naan was good. The beef and chicken were even better. The service was absolutely excellent.

The food was not great little portions for the price you pay. They forgot items I ordered. I called and ask them for a refund or to have it delivered out. She told me she couldn't give me a refund an I wouldn't be able to get my order. Horrible service.
