Insanely delicious. My new go to spot for breakfast when in Columbia. Fresh is an understatement. The level of preparation and delivery is hard to appreciate in such quality. Cost? You get what you pay for in life, enjoy it while you can.Parking: Limited by easily accessible from the Main Street, where additional parking is available.

The food quality is unmatched in Columbia. Yes, they take a lot of time to prep, and yes they are a bit expensive, but.. it's an awesome vibe, gratuity already included and the food just tastes fresh, clean and next level.Food: 5/5

Great place for a date! Or just catching up.You'll spend a lil bit, though, on stuff that may not fill you up.I love the sandwiches, and the yogurt with the fruit is a sugar rush! I've had friends that have worked here and all around this is a place worth supportingHalf of the seating is outdoors, so dress accordingly!!!First time goers beware on having a plan on wear you're gonna park.

Nice antique vibe. Friendly staff.Food was mediocre. We got the Bread Board and Roasted Sweet Potato bowl. Total came out to be $38. They include gratuity automatically.I liked the dressing of the salad - it's miso-based, tangy and flavorful. I liked the butter they give you with the bread. The other three spreads we chose (avocado, hummus, and almond butter) were average.Others had coffee. They said coffee is okay, not too special.

What a lovely little spot! A little pricey but totally worth it. The portion of this breakfast was perfect and it was so flavorful their pastries and also their friendly staff make this place such a gem.

What a unique menu of delectable dishes, pastries and drinks. Fantastic service. Outdoor seating was a wonderful place to wool gather while eating scrumptious food. A must eat next time I'm in town!

This place is a hidden gem tucked away off of Gervais. Best almond croissants EVER! And, the Soft Scrambled Egg on Sourdough with greens was so delicious. Loved sitting outside looking at the distressed brick walls - a Spain/Italy/France vibe. Can't wait to go back. BTW - they don't solicit tips. Their staff is paid a steady wage above minimum with benefits. From their website:"smallSUGAR will serve as the location for the second phase of the pilot the CITY GRIT Hospitality Workforce Development program. The goal of the program is to provide opportunity and culinary training to non-college bound youth. We strive to offer improved conditions for employees:Guarantee a livable wage for all staff once they’ve completed the initial on-boarding phase of employment.Offer a transportation stipend for employees to offset parking and/or transportation costs associated with concepts located in downtown Columbia.Incentives for community engagement by volunteering with one of our partners at Richland Library, FoodShare, Transitions, Oliver Gospel Mission, End Childhood Hunger South Carolina, Harvest Hope, or Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters.Continued and expansive training in hospitality, marketing, money and asset management, the culinary arts, and management."What a great place to support! We went twice in our weekend visit to our daughter and can't wait to return!

We came for brunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food is relatively expensive (menu prices included gratuity), but it was high quality and healthy. The coffee was exceptional here. We will definitely come back when looking for a healthier breakfast/brunch option.

Good stuff. Quality. But prices are OUTRAGEOUS. They claim its to pay their workers a livable wage but I was not happy when my mom and I's takeout breakfast was $50. Not worth it. Maybe for a croissant, or a single toast. But dont count on ordering more than one or two things for yourself or one thing per person unless you want to pay $50

Very quaint and hidden gem! The prices are higher due to them wanting to pay their employees more which is very reasonable. I loved the area and the food was great big portions!
