The best pain au chocolat around if you can get it!! At 7:45am there were no pastries in the case and I was told to ‘call back later’. This has happened one too many times at various times in the morning - please fix your supply issues!!

There pastries are deliciously flaky and filled with flavor, I will definitely be back for more!

The prime rib sandwich was BIG and messy but tasty! I really enjoyed the roasted carrots too - they were seasoned really well! The turkey sandwich was also very good. Just FYI the marinated cucumbers are pickles. The cortado and almond croissant were delicious as well - very big pastries! Pricey but nice place for lunch.

Got coffe there twice. Both times it was watered down and flavorless. I would find another place.

An absolutely fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. If you’re a mushroom fan, the mushroom tartine is a delight and the soft scrambled eggs…good lord, it’s hard to find the words. A wonderful place well worth your time. And I think it’s so great that they pay the employees a proper wage so tips aren’t part of the exchange.

Great menu, amazing food and coffee. 5$ cortado is wayyyy too expensive, even for NYC or LA standards.Lots of good vegetarian and vegan options.

I love this place, vibe, and food! Unbelievable. Would love to see faster guest wifi as I have to get on my hotspot with each visit. Also, would love to see prices drop 10-15% and allow tips for service. It would be interesting to see if this improves the hustle score. I spoke with several other patrons while waiting in line and all agreed that the food is amazing but service is lacking due to overwhelming volume of customers at peak times.

This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be coming back! I got the overnight oats, almond croissant, and an iced chai au lait. Everything was very tasty. I just moved to Columbia a few months ago and have been on the hunt for a new favorite chai and I think I found it here! Staff is very kind and gave good recommendations. Absolutely love the music in here too, some fun throwbacks I haven’t heard in a while. Price is what I would expect for a small business bakery, especially in the heart of the city. Can’t wait to support more small Columbia businesses like this one.

So I was forced to go here because drip coffee wasn't opened yet and unfortunately I won't be back. The girl at the counter was super nice, however she didn't know what was in half the pastries she was selling. That's wasn't HER fault, but that was not okay. I didn't enjoy the coffee, which was disappointing because it was quite expensive. I understand what their trying to do with the automatic gratuity thing, but I feel that's counterproductive. The prices are ridiculously too high for a coffee shop, especially this one. The savory crossiant was good. However I feel like it would be better if they had that food covered in a glass case or something to avoid flies.

I support small businesses but the shrink inflation here is so insane I have to leave a review. I started coming here in 2020/2021 and each side of the toast used to be so wide and heavy I would have to use two hands to hold it and sky high amounts of avocado. Now you can see the piece of bread is so tiny it looks miniature however, the price of this has gone up at least $3 from when I started coming here. This is true for the last two times I visited.Nothing has changed with the side salad, it's just lettuce and dressing. Everything is still tasty and the service is always good but you're getting less and paying more.

My wife and I walked there from the hotel after hundreds maybe thousands of coffee shops all over the USA. We were served by Angel (I think) and she was outstanding! Don’t ever let her go or I will grab her up. This will be a regular spot for me if I return to Colombia.

I had the greens and grains bowl, my daughter and her roommate had the sweet potato kale bowl, my husband had the mushroom tartine with scrambled eggs. The bowls were absolutely delicious and huge! My husband enjoyed his mushroom toast. The cafe was crowded last Sunday and our party of 4 had to sit at a tiny ledge facing the wall. They were also out of sandwiches. However, it's a nice problem for a little bitty place to have -- so much traffic that you're running out of food at the end of the weekend. I definitely recommend smallSUGAR.
