After a long afternoon of kayaking our two-couple party headed to Real for much-needed refueling. Yes, the parking lot is small and yes, it's not exactly high end. We sat outside with a shanty roof, blue tarps and the butt end of a shipping container. If you're in search of food over elegant ambiance, though, this is your place. Tilita restaurant is located in the Centro Historico area of Mazatlan's downtown, Libertad # 416. New restaurant. Service was excellent and food excellent as well. Would highly recommend it to any traveler.

Perfect experience from greeting to finish! The salsa was super tasty and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. One of the best Mexican restaurants (for not being out WEST) that we’ve found in a long while! I got the shrimp tacos and my husband got a bowl with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Both were excellent choices and we left very full & happy! We will surely return when we are back in the area! Yum!
