Mamas used to be one of my favorite places to eat but suddenly something has definitely changed with the quality. My most recent experience I found a bug in my food. I’m so disappointed and moving forward will not be eating here.

Food wasn't horrible, sauce was a little bland. Server just kept talking on and on about how she was the only one there, the other server called in sick, and to be patient, when there actually was another server but she was training her? Seemed she could've easily shown her some basics and it would've helped. It was all just a bad vibe. The WORST PART was the bathroom was a horror scene, It had a chair pulled up to the toilet and puke was everywhere. But it was like that when we arrived and we were the only ones there so it had to be a member of their staff who didn't clean it up. It

The lasagna tasted great, but the garlic knots had a fishy taste and I had to throw them out. This is my second time ordering from them via DoorDash. The first time the food was excellent.

First time we’ve ever eaten here and it was spot on. Nothing fancy, however the service was great and the food was just good. The garlic knots were fresh and amazing! You can change out the garlic knots for Italian bread for an up charge but I would not suggest that. The garlic knots were incredible. I had Manicotti, delicious. My husband had a sausage and pepper dish that came with a pasta. He didn’t care for the pasta and next time would change it to a penne pasta instead of like a fettuccine noodle. However that is his preference and he enjoyed the meal as it was. We also got a calzone to go for our daughter and it looked really good. 10/10 will go again.

I’ve been buying pizza at mama’s for a while and just have time to do this review. Yes Mama’s has very good pizza, meat lovers calzone! I always also buy the lasagna, they are so hard to find in Charlotte! I have to drive to Indian land. Good job Mama’s. Photos? I will add them next time ?!

Love Mama's pizza. ♥️ We are from New York and this is the only pizza we have found that is just like back home. We travel well over 30 minutes, from NC, to pick up this pizza. Highly recommend.

This is the absolutely positively greatest pizza in the upstate!! Honest to God!! I'm a pizza aficionado and a upscale chef. Believe me, when I say it; this is what other people's Italian restaurants strive towards. I wanted this place to be good, and it exceeded my expectations beyond anything.[I wanna give a shout out to friends Amanda and George) they were just the best servers. Very friendly and gregarious people. The wines were great tasting, delicious food and wine,This is a sweatpants game, they will definitely feed you and your family.Very modest prices, if you leave here hungry it's your own fault! 10,000 kudos!!

So I am here in a door dash order. I was not greeted and when I spoke the two white girls didn't speak. So I spoke loudly again! One of them spoke. I stated I am here to pick up for door dash and was nicely told that it wasn't ready yet... I normally go back and order from restaurants that I dash at but I won't be coming back to this one! And it smelled like an old mop was used to mop the floors or an old rag it didn't smell like a pizza place. 8:25 PM Today

My husband and I agree. Probably the worst pizza we’ve EVER had and we’re seniors! We had ordered sausage and not sure what they put on it, but certainly didn’t taste like sausage! Strong taste, strong odor. Sliced extremely thin. Just terrible! Mushrooms were tasteless. Very small amount if sauce and a few pieces of tomatoes. Just a small taste of sauce on it. The crust was soggy. This used to be a decent place to eat. Now….horrific!
Got two slices and drink the other day and it was simply delicious. The girl up front want very sweet, as well as the older gentleman that give me my food. Highly reccomend.

Thanks for seating us 30 minutes before closing on a Friday night! Pizza came out fast and we left by 10 PM. Pizza was good!!!

I've been to Mama's a total of 3 - 4 times. The first time I went I ordered their Alfredo & it was absolutely delicious as well as the 2nd time. However, last night the Alfredo had zero flavor had to doctor it up with Parmesan and garlic powder which made my stomach hurt. My mom got a big platter that looked really delicious as well but again had ZERO flavor. The sauce had a weird sweet almost tin taste to it. I also asked for extra garlic knots & never got them server was too busy. Got a slice of pizza as an appetizer (she said the slices were big) & it was very small and tasted old.I only gave two stars because the server was nice and she was trying. I probably won't be back unless changes are made. Also the inside is very dark & old looking. The decor is outdated needs to be brightened up a bit looks awful!
