I ordered the cuban sandwich with black beans & rice. I've had better. Apparently so have others, this spot now has a sign on the door indicating CLOSED they're exploring other business ventures.

I took a party of 35 here for an event. Not only was the food amazing but the level of service was exceptional. They were very smart and broke my tables up in quads so as they finished one section, the put that food in and another service took the next order. They rotated until they finished and the food quickly started arriving. Every single person loved their meal! There was something for everyone. I personally had the arroz con pollo.. it was a healthy serving and I had enough for dinner later on!

Ambience, mojitos, service and portion size get the 4 stars. Food, not so much. The nachos were good even though the meat was a little salty for my taste. The shrimp and fish ceviche however was far from great. Specially for the price tag. I wanted to like it but it honestly did not have enough lime to be a good ceviche. I even asked my Cuban friend to try it to see if it was a matter of taste but she made the same comment regarding the lack of flavor and lime. I also think the cut of fish was too fatty for a ceviche. The nachos were good but could be improved as well. Again, service was amazing. The mojitos were delish and i can see myself returning just for a drink.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal. All of the food had a good strong flavor and was cooked to the perfect temperature and texture. Really good portions too, we both had leftovers!

Fantastic place. Considering its right on woodruff the food is very affordable and excellent quality. The staff are very friendly and professional and really make you feel at home at this restaurant. The decor is very cool and they host some great live music sessions as well.

Cuban is one of my favorite foods, eat it often. Just not very impressed here. Wife and sons white rice was hard and crunchy. Her picadillo was very salty and overcooked. My paella was not bad but wasn't overwhelmingly good. With that being said service was pretty good. May come back again soon and try again. Hopefully just an off day.
This place is so good, I am so happy I gave it a try, great portions. The empanadas and yellow rice are extremely tasty and seasoned.

I took my wife and my mom today to Havana Kitchen. I had the delicious Cuban Sandwich and my wife had the Bistec Palomillo with white rice and beans. We were all so happy with our food even my mom who had the Ropa Vieja with yellow rice with black beans. The waitress was the best as she made my mom, who's 82 yrs old, feel comfortable as she was speaking to her in Spanish. Havana Kitchen is a large and spacious place with great service, delicious food and a large menu in addition to generous portions. I'll definitely return back when I visit my mom next April .
