A May 2022 visit, about 13:45 we arrived. We were told 'we close at 14:00, we said okay and we're turning around to leave - but she said come on in'! I said thank you! Empty - we were seated at a nice table by the window looking towards Poinsett. The water & menus came and later so did the waiter. Whom I believe to be one of the owners. This was our first time checking out Oak Hill and it was everything we wanted and more. The ambience is super cute with an eclectic farmhouse appeal. The parking was a little challenging but to be expected dining at a quaint spot right off the highway. We made a reservation, which is highly recommended and were immediately seated by a friendly hostess. Our server was so attentive, explained the dishes and ensured we had the best brunch experience. What a gem of a restaurant. I have driven past here numerous times on my way to Greenville and it has been on my list of places to try. Fortunately a friend suggested we meet there for dinner and I jumped at the chance. It was busy, but not crowded, on a Wednesday evening. They were more than accommodating with some of our dietary restrictions, although we did have to send one item back to have the breadcrumbs left off even though my friend had already identified as gluten free....read full review
