We went for dinner at 7PM on Mother's Day with a reservation. The restaurant was not full, but was turning away walk ins. This to me hints at short staff in the kitchen. Yet there were clearly too many greeters working at the front. Food was so-so. Salmon entre was undercooked despite special request. On another entre, potato side tasted as if it was old and microwaved, and steak was overdone. Was it just the holiday? I can't answer that. I cannot recommend or not recommend so regrettably I have to answer a mild No to that question.

I booked this restaurant for a Mother’s Day dinner based on pictures of tablecloths on the tables and great reviews. Was very disappointed to experience an Applebees ambiance. The zombie, teenage waiter actually placed my cocktail napkin on top of my opened menu: I moved it onto the table top. When he brought my drink, he put my glass on the tabletop…right next to the cocktail napkin!!! The ribeye was grisly. Not a great experience.

Very limited menu especially for kid’s only one item chicken fingers! Waited very long for appetizer asked waiter finally brought they were cold. Steaks very dry and potatoes were cold and hard. Asked for second drink never received till after dinner. Poor service would not recommend

Patrick was our server and he was attentive to our needs and anticipated our wishes. He was neatly attired and made our day an extra special one.

Limited menu for Mother’s Day that was not told ahead of time or on their website. Food was too garlicky and small portions for the price.

First of all - it was Mother's Day. They certainly had sufficient staff and management. Everyone was very busy yet friendly, competent and professional. The wait staff was also very composed although obviously waiting on a full house and constant deluge of guests, and lots with young children. I found that commendable. We did not feel rushed. The food was excellent. We had apps that came out quickly enough and ordered from a "holiday menu" that served children (good choices and nicely presented) and finer burgers to steaks. All was served together and fresh/hot. Portions were perfect. Prices ok. I'm not sure if their desert cakes are homemade (I don't think so) but still fresh and very good. I hadn't been to a Red Rocks in a few years and at another location. I would definitely return.

Food was below average. Price was above average. We walked out of the restaurant and all six of us agreed we would not go back based on the quality of food compared to the high price. On the positive side, all the employees were very nice.

It was Mother’s Day and despite having reservations the service was really slow but I guess that’s to be expected on a busy day like that. I was just disappointed that the food was not piping hot but after waiting so long to get it I didn’t complain. The steak filet medallions with pomodoro sauce was delicious as was my husband’s salmon, however, the accompanying broccoli was greatly undercooked and dry and my potatoes were, too. For a $35 entree, I think that the quality should be much better!

Red Rocks Cafe was a hit!! We were seated immediately after arriving. The Mother's Day brunch menu was great and we had the option of ordering from the main menu. The service was awesome and the food was even better! The waffles and french toast were delicious and the mimosa options were just the right pairing for a wonderful meal. We will be going back!

Mother’s Day

One meal was brought to the table not cooked enough. All others ate, while one person waited. No accomodation was offered.
