Came here in the mid afternoon to try it for the first time. The waiter Julian was very kind and knowledgeable, and the restaurant was very clean. We had a 14" pizza with onion, olives and mushrooms and a spaghetti with mushrooms dish. The spaghetti came with bread sticks and salad which were both excellent. The pizza was very good with a audibly crispy bottom, and the tomato sauce for the spaghetti was simple and packed with rich tomato flavor. I don't typically buy spaghetti at Italian restaurants, as I can usually make better at home, but I think I'd struggle to top this tomato sauce. Highly recommend for small families or date night.

Fast and friendly service, the food was great the restaurant is cozy, the parking lot was packed and line is out the door. We order a lot of stuff to go but finished it without taking pictures! Will tried to dine in next time!

This little place is a hole in the wall, but don’t be fooled- they know what they are doing. There’s one old-school room of tables, with booths all around. The waitress was attentive and great at balancing a full house (plus, we were a 7-top reservation). The food was good all around. I always get chicken fettuccine and they did it well! Other good dishes were stuffed shells, spaghetti and meatballs (you get 2 giant ones!), and buttered noodles for the youngest. Everything was a hit and the portions were so generous, we left with 4 boxes! We didn’t get desert or drinks- someone else will have to tackle that one! Will def be going back and at least ordering out.

1st and last time here. The saltiest food I have ever had. Lasagna portion was so thin, side salad consisted of brown iceberg lettuce, small piece of red onion, 1pc of blk olive. This cannot be a true italian restaurantGood luck....Don't anyone blame the pandemic! The restaurant was full of staff

What a wonderful experience, 3 different dishes, Lasagna, Eggplant Parm, and Seafood Pescatore, all were great, with enough leftover for another full meal of each.

Surprisingly delicious. I was not expecting such good food. I had eggplant parmigian and a side of sausage. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very flavorful. Portion was large, I couldn't consider dessert. The only negative I have was the breadsticks. They were flavorless.I will definitely go back.

Great, Rustic Italian restaurant. Exquisite food and wine. Very knowledgeable waitstaff. A diamond in the rough in South Carolina!

This place brings us back to when we visited Italy... A blast of the past.. This is such a cute place and everyone makes you feel like home. The food is simply amazing. Strongly recommend this place for Italian food. Everything is made from scratch.. You need to have patience the service is slowwwww.. The higher dollar wine bottles are a little overpriced in my opinion.

I feel bad about this review because I go to Rizzos about every week either for pizza to go or dinner. I do love their food and most servers I have encountered are very nice and helpful. That being said last night Tues 4/5 I was on my way home after a long stressful day spending most of it in the urgent care with my grandson. I was too tired to cook so ordered 2 dinners plus an order of meatballs. My grandson asked for spaghetti with butter so when I went in I asked to add a side of pasta with butter and was told no not to go they only offer kids meals as a courtesy to adults dining in. The gentlemen helping me dI'd say he would ask and the answer was NO. I'm sorry I did spend 34.00 and just wanted to relax and not have to cook up some pasta. I will never go there again because of this and it sure will be more of a loss to me than it is to them.

I had the lasagna and it was soooo salty felt my blood pressure rise up. All I tasted was salt. Breadsticks tasted stale and the sauce was so so too heavy too salty. Sometimes less is more. Won't be eating here again.

Nice atmosphere, good food, attentive servers. We enjoyed our food and will go back. Like most places around here the parking lot needs attention. Huge pot holes.

I brought my girlfriend here today, and I am so happy I did. Our waiter was great, the service was great, and the food was incredible. That broccoli gnocchi was absolutely 11/10 delicious.

My 17 year old daughter worked briefly for Rizzo's Spaghetti House this past summer. The owner NEVER paid her. After several calls to the owner he assured me he would send out a check which he never did. this was my daughters first job, what an awful experience. This owner needs to be put in his place, this is not how you treat people.

Hard working staff, but unprofessional owner/manager. After waiting 45 minutes for a pizza, with routinf apologies by waitress, I asked the waitress if management would provide a complementary beverage for my inconvenience and extreme patience (watched other tables being served full dinners who were seated well after me, some came and went). Waitress came back and said " he said we don't offer complementary beverages for that.". As I'm still waiting for my single pizza to arrive, writing this review, another 25 minutes have passed. I told my waitress to please tell her manager his comments were totally unprofessional and cheap (sorta arrogant too!). Standing up to leave ... no pizza is worth sitting an hour, when everyone is is getting there meals served.

Waited an hour for food. Server was amazing, very nice, felt bad for the servers they were apologizing to all their tables. ( saying food was made to order) We loved the reviews and tried it out because of the reviews. Don't understand what the hype was from previous reviews, clearly no one has had real Italian or Olive Garden in their life( we don't think Olive Garden is clearly real Italian but shit it's better than this.) Being so close to Charlotte there is so many options no idea how this place competes or gets any business. The food literally could be made by me or my mom, which we cannot cook Italian. I work as a kitchen manager and my long term care staff can cook pasta better than this. Photo is of chicken parm which is recommended by server. My husband got the egg plant rotolini which was clearly frozen and reheated. I order food from sysco distributor and I am not a Karen nor try to be since i am in the food service industry but I just can't, I order food products and know what is good quality and clearly pre packaged items. The pasta sauce tasted like it was out of a can. I really hope they were just having a hard time due to covid.
