I ordered a grilled chicken salad to go. My boyfriend and I tried a piece of chicken & it was DISGUSTING & under cooked. I spit it out & it still Left a terrible taste in my mouth. I went inside about 3 minutes after walking out & asked the girl who took my order if I can just get a refund because the chicken wasn’t right. A short heavier set white woman came out (assuming the manager) & said she can’t give me my money back because the chicken isn’t raw??? I told her to taste it she said “I had just had a salad” as if I got the same exact piece of chicken that she got. I asked her repeatedly if I can get my money back because if y’all are serving me raw chicken I don’t want nothing else you have to offer. I barely touched the salad & I’ve never gave anyone a hard time about some food unless ITS NOT RIGHT. Terrible terrible management. She REFUSED to give me my money back. Didn’t even offer to cook a new piece of chicken or nothing. The managers attitude was awful & condescending as if I did something wrong to her. Based off her attitude I know I’m not the only one whos complained about her. I’ve worked in the food service industry for 10 years this was the worst encounter I’ve had. Will NOT be coming back!

Went there Saturday night and got a BBQ plate ,it was OK tasting but when I was about half way thur I found a hair in my BBQ and got the waiter and she got the manager she came over to the table and said well it's not my hair and it sure wasn't mine because my hair is short and this hair was 8 inches long they took my plate and charged me full price so I want be going back

Not good, not bad. It's okay food served at a lukewarm temperature . The chicken breast was small, average served with Sweet Baby Rays bar b Que sauce. Seriously, if you don't make your own sauce, at least don't serve the worst sauce on the market. We tried it. It was a completely forgettable meal.

Been going to every one of their nearby locations and service, atmosphere, food and customer service has always been great and wonderful. This restaurant business lives up to their name and definitely delivers especially when you know what you want and knowing how to order and speak your order properly so they will always read it back to you right and if it's wrong they'll always be courteous and helpful to fix the order so you'll leave happy, even if you order by phone.I definitely think people haven't truly given this place a chance and are discrediting the business yes "521 BBQ" definitely gives you BBQ if you order it from the menu and not just assume they don't have it. Please remember if you simply had a bad experience that it's understandable but don't leave a review bashing them saying they don't offer something if you haven't fully checked out their menu or bother asking and they always might have had employees that are new and I'd love to say that your employees deserve beyond a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review although they haven't been there for years, they're trying their best and are very helpful.Sending nothing but great vibes and once again hope to see each of these employees get a raise and 521 team of the year forget just a month cause the service was awesome!!!!!!

Wasn’t impressed… Took my daughter here and food was very basic.. VERY VERY BASIC… ranks low to very bottom of BBQ experiences I’ve gotten.. I’m more of a hunting club style pulled pork and pork n beans guy myself.. don’t get your hopes up going here..
