The portions of the meal where balenced well on the plate. My found was delicous, though i found the pork a bit to salty. The plantains and corn i had was great :3 The pork was very tender and smoked very good.Dietary restrictions: Im on a keto deit and I asked the waiter if i could have the rice excluded from my meal. She i could, so i didnt have to waste food :3

In town on business wishing I found Marcelo's on the first day. Outside isn't much to look at but the food inside is excellent. Ordered a Cuban sandwich, Mofongo with shrimp and the mango-passionfruit cheesecake.The Cuban sandwich was large and tasted great. The bread was authentic and strong, yet soft and chewy holding the sandwich together well. The mofongo was the best. Even better than what I had in Puerto Rico. The cheesecake has to be tried. Words cannot describe.

Marcelo is now my Hermano! This was the best Latin cuisine. We had the Guaynabano juice, Cuban sandwich with yuca fries, mofongo with lechon and goat stew with black rice and collards! If you want homeade, delicious food with a great atmosphere, look no further. Marcelo’s is simply amazing!
Definitely a place you should come and try!! The food is rich with flavor and love. I had a mofongo and the Dominican flag everything was fresh and ready to eat!!

The empanadas are THE BEST I've ever had! I could order just the empanadas alone and be happy, especially since they're not super tiny like most places! The owner Marcelo was very polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. He's honest and caring towards his guests which made the experience even more memorable.Kid-friendliness: Saw a dad take his 3 little ones here to eat. Ages ranged from 4 to 7. They seemed happy and had crayons and coloring mats to keep them entertained.

The food is legit. Double fried plantains (tostones) are the best around. The burger is intimidating, the goat stew doesn't have much broth but it offers more goat than most.No alcohol license but they have Jarritos which is always nice.I'd give it five stars on atmosphere if they had booths.
Food was excellent. Many options from American to Jamaican. Decor was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. The owner was very nice and willing to provide whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.Parking: Plenty of parking available close to the entrance.

If you are in a hurry, don't stop here because you will be late. If you want a relaxing time with some great food and atmosphere, then this is the place to stop. This place is basically run by one person, so you wait to put your order in, wait for your drinks, wait for your food, etc. Was it worth the wait? Oh yes! I had a nice time having a conversation with my husband away from the house while waiting. The music was at a comfortable volume, so it wasn't interfering with our conversation. The place was clean, and between the black and white decor, it actually looked fancy, yet it was relaxing. The food was very good. I ordered the Oxtail. The only thing is I am used to eating it with a bit of heat, and this had none. It was good, very tender, and the rice with beans too, just no heat. I asked for hot sauce, but that isn't the same as the spices, plus it added a different taste. Next time I go, and I will be going back, I am just going to slip some of my hot seasoning in my pocket to mix in it before I eat it. I know it will be heavenly then, and I will have my heat. (Of course, this is just my personal taste, and again, it was delicious the way it was.)
