Website said they closed at 8:30pm on Thursday, but they close at 8. We got there at 7:55 and owner told us to come on in and eat. Really good food and friendly service. Would recommend this place.

We really enjoyed this place for lunch. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Just the kind you hope a little hometown place like this will have.Nice outdoor seating on the front porch.Super nice and friendly staff!!

Mountain Rest Cafe is a friendly spot with a family type atmosphere. They have great burgers for a quick lunch and tasty combos for a "supper" that's just a little bit more. Try the clam strips. They have just the right crunch but not over done. There's also some hand dip ice cream for the kiddos!
