Such a great place, the food was phenomenal and the service even better. Donnie was our server and he delivered excellent drinks, fast salads and flavorful meals. The owners stopped by to make sure everything was excellent. The atmosphere was great and even the hostess met us with a smile and friendly attitude. Would I go back, we'll yeah, planning on going again in a couple days as there are so many great options. If you are in the area you have to stop.

The Flamingo Grill in Myrtle Beach is famous for its American and seafood menu in a cozy setting with a unique art deco design. It's run by a family, and we even chatted with one of the owner brothers, Dino. They offer affordable drinks, with the peach martini and old fashioned being particularly good. For dinner, we enjoyed a filet with Cajun shrimp, blackened prime rib, and prime rib with sides, plus a salad. We topped off the meal with delicious salted caramel cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert.

The google reviews for this restaurant are very decieving. The ranch in the salad and our waiter were the best things... should have known when the sweet tea was not sweet at all... boyfriend & I got the lobster tail & filet, steak was rubber and no taste, lobster also had no taste & was very tough. Waiter was very nice though, he comped outer teas, which he didn't have to and also told us not to tip, which I tipped some any way, he was nice and it wasn't his fault.

Pitiful management. Poor thing really has no idea what he’s doing at all, speaks to customers like they’re dogs. Bless his heart. My father and I had 3 drinks (including 2 glasses of red wine) spilled all over us and the management did not check on us once. The poor waitress was so apologetic, and felt so bad (with no support from her manager). We sat through our meal completely soaked, and had to grab our own towels to try to salvage our clothes. The manager was only concerned with cleaning the table and getting it sat with the next group. We sat with cold, wet pants throughout the meal (which was a 6/10 meal experience). When the bill came out full price, we were completely shocked and dismayed. We had to approach management about it and the most he was willing to do was take the drinks (first round spilled all over us) off the bill. He spoke to us like we were idiots and took zero accountability for the situation as “he thought things were fine” because we moved to a different table and “everyone else here is happy.” He was so defensive, nasty, and was obviously trying to save face in front of the owner and other customers. It was undoubtedly the most inappropriate, disappointing dining experience I’ve ever had. It was a completely rectifiable situation that was handled terribly by management and ownership. Just a check in, apology, “how’s the meal?”, would’ve been fine. Not to mention the owners were completely apathetic, rude, and terrible, as well. Felt very chauvinistic. Take your business elsewhere. Half our steaks were not cooked to the correct temperature anyways.

First visit here was good, except a bad lobster tail. 2nd visit was tonight, wife orders Filet Mignion butterflied well. I order NY Strip medium well. Appetizers and salads were great. Waitress was fantastic. Steaks arrive and server says, "here is your Delmonico" and it looked just like one. I call waitress over, and i said, "the person who brought this said here is your Delmonico, and i didnt order a Delmonico." She double checks order slip and sure enough it said NY Strip medium well. She gets the manager and here is where it gets ugly.He proceeds to tell me the cut of meat was 1 1/2" thick so they butterfly it so the outside doesn't turn to charcoal. He was very condescending and treated me like I was an idiot. I proceeded to tell him, "look, I have ate a million steaks and no one has ever served me a butterflied Strip, and I have a PICTURE of the last 1 1/2" Strip they served me that wasnt butterflied and i didnt order this one butterflied." I showed them that picture and will ATTACH THAT picture below. Managers response was more of the same. I just avoided the conflict and avoided making a scene. I mean, they made a simple mistake, why make up a story and lie to me?? That's my issue. Thick Filet Mignon gets butterflied, not Strip. After this, the waitress avoids us, and came back just to deliver the check and get paid. How many butterflied strip steaks have you ate? I tried to eat the steak, and ate most of it, but it was like charcoal and very tough/overcooked. I made a mistake of not taking a picture of tonight's butterflied Strip. So, I paid the bill and left. Last time we will go back.

I must say I thought this was going to be an amazing place, but I was wrong. I ordered Togo. And I have to say I'm very upset. I did not receive my 2 salads. My 3 orders of broccoli were so hard that no one could eat it. I specified it to be soft.i order the The kabob app. And it was ice cold and chewy . And my husbands fish sandwich bread was so hard he couldn't eat it.I ordered prime rib med came out well done. I normally don't complain, but I feel like this is ridiculous. I spent a lot of money here. And feel like I wasted my money. I also was told by bar tender that after I had tiped her $30, I couldn't sit there and wait for my food even though that was where the manager told me to go. Smh.I couldn't call because they were closed.I will not be back. I did send an email to them but haven't heard back from them ?
