The staff at Mr. Fish Seafood Market is amazing. They are so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. We came here about three weeks ago just inquiring about placing an order for the holidays as we would be back in Myrtle again. We spoke with Max on the phone and he went out of his way to to talk with us and even invited us to the market. We went in to visit and were absolutely impressed. Max made amazing recommendations to us and everything we tried was fantastic. Our 7 year old lived the coconut curry pulled pork chili! We are now back for the holidays and they do not disappoint. We would recommend Mr. Fish to everyone! We even got to meet Mr Fish himself! We are going to have a very Merry Fishmas! Thank you again!!

The food and service was AMAZING! Max went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. We tried the tuna and were so impressed we asked if we could have some more sliced with their Lisa sauce and this was what we were served. The presentation was beautiful! The coconut curry pulled pork was a hit with our 7 year old, too! Thank you for making us feel so welcome, we will be back!

Food was great, shirts were HILARIOUS. Food tasted just as good burping it up as it did going down. You should definitely come here if you want great food and a good chuckle.

I walked in with no idea what I wanted to get. I told the guy at the counter I wanted to grill some fish. He shared his recommendation and how he'd prepare it for the grill. We got some really nice pieces of fish and his prep recommendations made the fish turn out perfectly. I'd gladly go back and repeat that meal.

Shrimp, hush puppies and fries are good but they need a lot of help with the crab cakes. Look more like a salmon cake. But the staff was very nice and friendly. Will return but just won't have the crab cakes.

Very fresh fish, nice selection, fish cleaned/dressed. Nice price. Staff polite knowledgeable. Will go there again.

Will give it another try... think I just ordered the wrong thing. We were referred here by some friends that loves it. We will order something else next time not the fish sandwich. We ended up taking the fish off the sandwich and eating just the flounder. The fried flounder was good.

The lunch fish and tuna tacos are the best in town plus $1 PBR. Service is also very good!

This was a great find. The menu was fantastic and we went back several times during our stay. The prices can't be beat and the quality supurb.

Best seafood all around! Eat it there or take it to go... you won't be disappointed. We had combo #3 between with 3 different sides, including fresh and delicious fresh fries. It was fresh, flavorful and more than expected! Had to take half of it home

Hands down delicious food, great customer service. We didnt want to do a buffet as it's expensive and 2 of us never get our monies worth. Decided to try this place out of the reviews. Lee was helpful giving us options, price was reasonable and they were great hosts. Friendly to our family even sat down to chat with us. Great food, great people.

Good spot for fresh catches and imports. Also have small restaurant that looked really good. I will go back our next trip down.

Fresh fish! This seafood market has a great selection of seafood that is transported and stored correctly. They also have a restaurant where you can choose the fish/seafood and have it prepared for you on their restaurant side. Whether you prepare it yourself or you eat at the restaurant, you will know the quality when your fork hits that first flaky, succulent bite!

Did not know what to expect when my son wanted us to meet him in MB for lunch at a seafood market!! Boy, am I glad he suggested it! Wednesday is the crab special...crabs are $2.00 with a minimum order of six. These were not small, mealy crabs...these were big, fat juicy ones steamed in Old Bay. Delicious!! We ordered hush puppies to go with and my husband ordered the fish sandwich. It had cheese and bacon, came with coleslaw. He said it was one of the best he's had! The market did not smell fishy and the wait staff/counter workers were awesome! They were very busy, but also attentive to our needs. We did not have to wait long for our food order. Do not leave without trying the dessert...two fried crunchy chocolate chip cookies with ice cream wedged between the layers, and the most delicious raspberry sauce drizzled over the top. Big enough to share and is so yummy! We will be back!!??

Unexpected gem, we accidentally found this place on the way to one of their competitors and bought some amazing angel fish to make later, and some fried fish sandwiches for lunch. Both were so much better than I figured. We will be going back next time we vacation in the area. Highly recommended!

My husband I visited Mr. Fish for their blue crabs and we found them to be very tasty. We are from Maryland so our standards are high. They did a great job. We had their #1 Male crabs. They were heavy and meaty and well seasoned. The price was good too. We also had spice shrimp which were very good as well. We visit Mrytle beach every year around the same time and we will be sure to visit Mr. Fish again. We highly recommend them to anyone who likes blue crabs.

Great place. We bought raw to cook ourselves. The wait staff guided us through the portions we needed and was very helpful. They even packed our order on ice. Our meal turned out great.

A fish in your dish and a splash in your glass. What's not to love? Freshest ingredients, and tastiest recipes coupled with cold drinks make this place a must visit.

Mr Fish...what can I say 5 stars and let me tell you why. It starts with the cleanliness and great selection. Its hard to walk in a fish store that does not have an odor or musk. This place is spotless. Absolutely clean and the fish are the center show piece of this great market. I purchased Tuna which was fresh caught and sliced same day. Tuna was definitely sushi grade. We were offered ice on such a hot day and a wasabi cranberry sauce. After getting home I tried the Tuna both as Sashimi and cooked on the grill (rare of course). I have to say I think this was the best fresh Tuna I have ever had. That includes many great sushi restaurants up and down the east coast. I'll be back several more times on my vacation. If you are debating between stopping over and something closer I suggest the extra drive and have yourself a great meal.

Mr. Fish has the best hushpuppies in the world ! We had the blackened shrimp and it was excellent too. Good service and the prices are not bad either. It was busy which shows that it's a good place !

This place is great. They have fresh seafood at affordable prices. They also will season and steam your selection at no additional cost. Great place, great people.

First stop to eat when we entered Myrtle Beach and boy was it worth it. Made a lasting impression for sure. Fish tacos and a Yuengling hit the spot after the long travel day. Best hush puppies I had on the Grand Strand.

Seafood was the move for lunch today. We came to Mr. Fish and ordered too much. The portions were surprisingly quite generous! Items were priced as they are at most seafood places. We ended up ordering the Richboy ($12) , mussels with crusty bread ($15), fish tacos ($10), and a basket of hush puppies ($3). The Richboy was a oyster and shrimp poboy with cheese, tartar, etc) that came with a side (fries were opted). This was rich, messy, and how you want a poboy! The mussels came in a large portion. The plate had a lot of the garlic/red onion/tomato sauce- it was thin- which was okay with the mussels, but delicious when dipped into by the buttered Texas toast type bread with oregano on it. 1-2 of the mussels didn't taste very fresh sadly. Hush puppies were fantastic as other reviewers described. The fish tacos were good! I liked how they were served, but the salsa was unnecessary, since it really seemed like storebought Tostitos? Overall a chill spot. We heard the restaurant that opens after 3 pm may be better, so will have to give that a shot!

Beast place for seafood if you are visiting Beach. Don't think any others place. Staff are very friendly. Prices look ok. Don't miss the soup and hash puppies. The best.

Some of the best seafood around. My family vacations in Myrtle Beach every year and we always look forward to the shrimp and other fish selections that have always been top notch. We like to get them to steam the shrimp with there version of old bay and take it back to our hotel and sit on the balcony watching the ocean.

Prices are a little high in the area but I mean they're in line with everybody else. You're in a resort town so I guess that's why prices are a little high. All the fish the shrimp and the lobster tails that we got were really good nice and fresh cooked up exactly the way you want to. They also have a restaurant right on the side and they will cook up anything fresh right there while you wait plus a bar and tap.

Brandon Bates

Great FRESH seafood! We got lobster, shrimp, and scallops! It was AMAZING! The people were very friendly and very helpful! We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience!

Lillie Christian

***THIS IS THE SPOT YOU NEED TO COME TO FOR FRESH FISH AND GREAT PORTIONS*** We had one goal for ourselves foodwise when coming to Myrtle, and that was to get fresh seafood. We deliberated on whether or not we should check out one of the MANY seafood buffets but ended up finding this place instead. I cannot stress this enough: this place is HEAVEN for the seafood lover. Everything you get is incredibly fresh, ans the portions are fanstastic as well. I tried a little bit of everything--the fried grouper was crunchy and soft, not overly oily; the seared scallops literally melted in your mouth; the salmon was HUGE and well seasoned; the crab cake had massive chunks of crab in it; the grilled mahi mahi was meaty and steak-like, yet soft and smooth; and the buffalo shrimp...well, there aren't enough words. This place is special because it is unassuming and knows its craft well. It's a seafood market as well, so you can even grab your taste of the sea in bulk and head home to cook it yourself, though after eating the seafare here, I'll be hardpressed to recreate the dishes with the precision and care that they did at Mr. Fish. Even the hushpuppies and fries were out of this WORLD. My last word on the matter: Mr. Fish = top five seafood spots I've ever been to, no question!
