Both grilled chicken salad and patty melt were not as I ordered, because I always adjust what is included in the dishes as they are described. It was neat that the owner was in the kitchen as chef tonight. Dorie, the bartender-waitress was lovely and very personable. There was smoke all around me. That was pretty awful. But then it is a bar and I certainly didn't have to choose to eat there in the smoke.
Haven't been to a bar in years and was looking for a nice little place close to home to start visiting on a regular basis. Prices seem to be pretty good. Limited selection on bourbon and scotch. Also a very limited selection of liquor in general. I would say the bartender was very responsible wouldn't serve people that came in that were obviously drunk already. this is the best small bar in Carolina Forest. The daily Specials are always tasty as well as the rest of the menu. The bartenders are so friendly that I go on the days that I know my favorite bartender is working.
