Waiting 30 minutes to be told the bottle of wine I ordered wasn't available and then waiting 15 more mins for a glass of another wine is completely unacceptable. The appetizer I ordered was great, but then paid the bill and had dinner across the street. I sorry but something needs to change. I would recommend this place for the food only. You just have to be prepared for the delays.

Had a wonderful experience with tasty food. Madison helped our experience and ensured we had everything we needed to have a wonderful dinner. Highly recommend and would definitely return again.

If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant with great tasting food and impeccable service, this is the place to go! Located in the crown plaza right across from green jackets stadium with awesome views of the river just a stones throw away. Great for a business meeting, birthdays, anniversary, or even a first date! The BLT salad was delicious, the fried green tomatoes were fried to perfection, the herb mushrooms were mouth watering, and the scallops were done just right! This place is my new favorite and I’m really glad North Augusta has such a high class eating option now! If you’re sick of chains and looking for something different and new try them! I can’t recommend it enough! (I was not paid to write this, it’s just that good!)Parking: There’s a parking deck near enough to use and street parking as well (it does cost to park and the hotel doesn’t validate)

Working under the leadership of Toyeshia and Maurice has been one of the best working experiences ever. It is rare you meet leaders looking to help mold you to do better, and truly care about your work happiness as well as your success. Thanks for all the motivation, advice, and gracious hospitality you both have shown me in my journey here at Salt & Marrow.

The food was incredible, the server was very nice, but the service was painfully slow. They have a dress code, but the manager sports a sweatshirt. 3 star restaurant masquerading as a 5 star.

Service is always awesome here I have been three times now and I always love the atmosphere. My last recent visit I had a wonderful time with my waiter Lorraine she went above and beyond and ensure the meal was pleasant. That type of service will always get 5 stars in my book.

Food was excellent. But service was horrible. We sat at table one hour with only water, and no attention or explanation from our server. Finally got a manager, who profusely apologized and later discounted our meals. He was wonderful. Again, the food was excellent -- once it arrived.

Our group of four ordered several appetizers: spinach dip, oysters, wings, and fried green tomatoes. Appetizers took longer than expected to arrive but were very good. Two persons had the half stuffed lobster. One person had shrimp and grits and said it was not a good dish at all. I tried the small plate of ribs and potato salad. The ribs were too salty and the amount of potato salad was so small (a spoonful) that I had to ask for more. Not a very good serving for $18.00. We also tried the bread pudding. It was okay. Appetizers were good but the rest of the food could have been better.

Lorraine’s attention to detail was nothing short of extraordinary. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. As we perused the menu, she discreetly ensured our water glasses remained full, her recommendations were spot-on, revealing an intimate knowledge of the chef’s specialties. So here’s to Lorraine the unsung hero who transformed a meal into a memory, a busy restaurant into a sanctuary. May her kindness ripple through the lives of all who cross her path. We raise our glasses to you, dear Lorraine, and say, “Until we meet again.”

This would be a nice resturant for a date night. Prices are high but this is not a regular chain resturant located on the 1st level of the crown plaza hotel. Service is great we had Maurice who was awesome, but be sure to ask for a straw. Most drinks are not served with a straw. Food was small portions so be sure to try and get meals with rice or potatoes. Atmospehere was great very upscale and quiet. Lighting was perfect for the mood. Overall i would go back, but i would eat something light first before going. Drinks are good but not strong. 4 out 5 stars and would recommend this place to my friends.
