These are NOT Irish potato pancakes....these are hash browns lol. And the meatloaf was nothing short of what you were served in elementary school lunch line. The bar tender was awesome, but there is no way people are being honest about authentic Irish food.

Beer was good. Food was mediocre at best. Mushy frozen vegetables. The cabbage didn’t have any flavor (corn beef and cabbage) and the roast beef dip sandwich was fatty and zero flavor-Even with the au jus. Fish and chips and other meals (salmon, chicken sandwich)were meh. The best thing was their corn beef egg rolls -and they were yummy. Good ambience but need to improve on the food.

Had a party of 3 around 5:15. Two large parties in the dining room. They seemed to take up all the servers attention. Food came out at different times . Food was blah. Snap peas cooked until they were mush. Rest was bland and not worth the price . Will say the key lime pie tasted good. Prefer a more traditional version but this was a nice take on a key lime pie . Noticed while eating dessert one of the large groups was being brought baskets of rolls . Asked server about this and her response was they only come with the “pub classics” but we will bring them to anyone who asks, as many were going to waste . I said how do people know to ask if they aren’t even offered . She didn’t know how to respond to that question. Previous visits here had been good, but been a few years . Had been warned it had gone down hill . Should have listened . Other places when I’m in town that have better food and service .

Had the liver and onions, yeh I know you hate liver and onions. Really good tender the mashed potatoes and sugar snap peas. All really good. The waitress was good and funny. Glad we got a change to try it out this year.

We made reservations and this is recommended as all tables were marked as reserved when we arrived, and it did start filling up quickly. Started with Smithwicks and Guinness and Irish egg rolls. There was a special of Philly egg rolls, and the server came back to as which type we meant to order and we changed our mind to try the Philly ones. She came back with the Irish ones and said she would bring the Philly next but only charge for one order. The egg rolls were hot, crispy and delicious. My wife had the fish and chips, two large, pieces, fluffy inside and crispy outside. Perfect and traditional. I had a Corned beef sandwich, and of course we were too full to finish it all. But had Irish whiskeys neat at the bar. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A very nice dinner.

Nice place. Here on vacation from MN with my daughter. Food was terrific, I had the pork chop and my daughter had the potato encrusted chicken. Both were to die for! Service was disappointing. Waitress seemed annoyed that we were there. Wasn't overly busy so not sure why she was aloof. The food made it worth it though

Great location, food and atmosphere. They know how to pour a proper pint too! Mike and John are truly passionate about their Tavern and it shows! Highly recommend.

How I didn’t give this place five stars while I was in the middle of my dinner and forgot to do until right now is almost criminal. From the atmosphere, to the pints, food, owners, staff. 10 stars an option they’d be getting 20.

The food here is amazing. Especially Monday roast beef all you can eat. Home cooked, thought goes into their food. I’m the DD so I don’t drink. The bar is very organized. BO at the helm. Runs a tight ship. Serving the entire restaurant with beverages. Love watching him pour the Guinness. So happy they are open Wen. to Sat at 1130. Love the Irish food.To The Owner: You made a great business choice. This is the best place in NMB. Thanks
