Do not rely on the online menu it is not current or up to date .We came out for a date night , excited by the online menu choices . Different and unique is what we were hoping for . It all sounded so amazing. We drove 45 mins reading all the things we couldn't wait to try .We sit and order our drinks and review the the one page menu ? This isn't right ... where's the gator bites ? Blackened tuna nachos , Crab stuffed shrimp ? Ect .I read all these awesome reviews so we couldn't wait to eat here .We ask the waitress only to be very disappointed by her answer , none of these items are available .Apparently new ownership new menu. And they can't seem to get the online menu updated .Look we're not uppity , we just don't get out much ,so when we do get out we want something different.Nothing about the food made this restaurant stand out from any other . Wings , ribs , burgers same old same oldTo hungry to leave and no idea where else to go, plus its a long drive home .it's just too late to start over .We ordered an app....and ... it was already sold out at 7 pm ...sigh. ok. . So we ordered another app and a dinner that sounded okOverall what we did eat was good . Nothing special but good . Service was good .Would we eat there again no.

We were excited to try Bar 1884 as the reviews sounded great but unfortunately our experience was a huge disappointment. The service was slow despite many employees roaming around aimlessly and all three of our meals came out lukewarm and bland. If the food tasted as good as it looked it would have been a real treat. We all decided we would not be back.

This was our first time here, and we loved it! Our waitress, Anna, was very attentive and made me an amazing drink! Definitely give the poison apple drink a try!I got the short rib nachos, which were delicious, and my husband enjoyed his shrimp salad. We split a piece of the banana pudding cheesecake, which I highly recommend!We will definitely be back!

This place is convenient to downtown and right across the street from one of the parking garages. The entrance has a lot of stairs prior to getting to the restaurant as it's upstairs - i'm unsure if they have an elevator. The menu is very limited to the front page and the back is just drinks. They weren't very busy. As far as the food the pork rolls were the so unique and tasty - definitely my favorite thing. The burgers - you could tell the meat was very good quality however it was very bland and didn't have much seasoning or taste. The fries were also really good but needed to be salted - we did not have salt pepper on our table or any of the other tables. The wings were pretty standard. Overall, I wouldn't entirely avoid this place but it's definitely not my first choice due to the lack of flavor in some of the items.

Reservations for 6 people, brunch, noon Sunday morning. Several people ordered bloody mary's. Did not get served until 12:50. Not crowded either. The excuse was the mix was downstairs. Server was great and kept checking on us, as we were getting frustrated, and eventually said she would remove the drinks from our bill. But as we were paying our checks, the manager spoke to us to apologize, but said if she removed the drinks from our bill, the server would have to pay for them. Food was good, our server was good - but wait times were atrocious, and management was not customer focused. We all decided we will not go back for some time - it's back to Main St Pub or Cribbs for Sunday brunch.
Woof. We had a bad experience. First cocktail was missing an entire ingredient (1 of 3 ingredients). When they remade it, it was warm. And still wrong. Food was passable bar food. I am generally a happy diner but this was one of the worst experiences I have had.

I was over charged. I was charged twice for to different payment. On two different days. I was only there for one day. Great place jus watch ur bank account because they will try to get you.

This was my first time eating here. The food was delicious. I didn’t expect food like this to taste good in a “bar”. The service was good and friendly. I came after a graduation ceremony with a family to celebrate. I ordered pancakes, bacon and hash browns. Delicious ?
