To Chef Dee and the rest of the staff please forgive me for my untimely review. I absolutely loved everything about your establishment/restaurant. As I said my husband I will make sure when we come home to visit that we will dine there. Everything from A to Z on a scale of 100 was a 100%. Thank you all for the friendliness, amazing customer service, spectacular taste with the food, an inviting atmosphere. In addition, my dad really enjoyed everything as well. In fact, I don't even think that he had anything else to eat that day. Again thank you all and will hope to see you all soon.

Chef Dee at Southern Gal can cook!!! I had their Saturday breakfast buffet and everything was good!! The food was seasoned well and the food touched my soul. I was eating and humming. I will definitely be back!!! The hostess was super nice and very polite. She keep my drink cup filled and recommended several buffet items.

I did not know this place existed until someone on FB recommended it one day. Within minutes I got in my car to go try them out and I’m so glad I did. First walked in, greeted with several smiling faces. All the staff were friendly. The sitting area smelled nice and clean. I was given recommendations on what I should try. Customer service 10 out of 10 in my Keith Lee voice.Now the food, I’m not big on breakfast, but the grits are probably some of the best I’ve eaten. I ordered honey, garlic wings. Seasoned perfectly, not too salty, just the right crisp. How often do we order flavored wings and they taste nothing like the flavor? Well my wings from Southern Gal, I could taste both honey and garlic, again seasoned perfectly!If you haven’t tried them out, GO!

My husband took me to this restaurant and they did not disappoint... I had the wings, fried okra, catfish, and onion rings.... DELICIOUS!!! The ladies was very attentive... They gave hugs and that with my dinner made me feel at home... My new favorite wing spot and my husband favorite breakfast spot...

I'm never compelled to leave a review for anything, even if it was a less than desirable experience. This was the one time that service, atmosphere, and food were all above expectation.Upon walking in, it felt like we were showing up to a family gathering more so than a restaurant for food. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, to such a degree I considered asking Mrs. Dee to adopt me as her grandson.She was so sweet with my two girls and wife, always ensured we had what we needed and then some. Another key note is their grits were absolutely top tier. All of the food was delicious but the grits... absolutely the peak of my meal.If you are in the area and are looking for a warm atmosphere and to be taken care of like the favorite child of your family, this is it.

The food is always delicious, however, the service is what continues to bring me back! I absolutely love Darolyn!! She has always been so warm and welcome since my very first visit. Literally the sweetest soul? I will forever return just to see her smiling face and of course to get my chicken wings! Chef Dee makes her food with love and Darolyn most certainly makes the experience over the top. If you want to be a valued customer then you should definitely drop in and check these wonderful ladies out!!Dietary restrictions: Wonderful options for people who can’t consume pork!

I am always searching for good food and found my breakfast spot on 421 at Southern Gal. The food is very good and cooked to order. They offer Turkey Sausage Patties as an non pork alternative. Real cracked egg, not the carton, and fresh toast. I see all the great reviews for the French Toast, so I must give it a try. The staff is exceptional, super nice and customer oriented. Not only do they serve breakfast but they serve lunch, as well.If you are looking for your spot for breakfast, look no further than Southern Gal in the Valley
