Cute. Good for a nice fall day. Enjoyed the donuts and the cider flight.

Cool little spot. We come at least once a year during the fall to hang out with a cider flight and some donuts. They have live music often and the staff have always been friendly when we come through. Parking can be a little tight when it’s busy but definitely worth a visit.

This place is nothing more than a roadside vender. While there are apple trees on the property, there isn't much. I wasn't surprised at the lack of apples considering my partner and I visited in late October, but I thought there would be more activities or at least something for entertainment. My partner and I weren't greeted at all and when trying to ask a question we were actually ignored by staff completely. Don't waste your gas on this place. Just go to the grocery store for your apples.

We went for the first time today for the donuts and I must say best donuts in York! Will definitely be back to try the hard cider!

I love it here! Open, airy atmosphere. Great ciders -Strawberry was my fav on this trip. Apples are great for my homemade apple butter. Of course, the donuts are absolutely perfect for pairing with a glass of ginger gold cider!

Good cider, Rusty Gold was my favorite from the flight. The donuts are delicious and the fried pie is very worthwhile. Take some donuts home with you everyone will love them.

The doughnuts were great and. Like the flight of hard ciders but it would have been good to know that they don’t have any apples this season due to the weather ?

Horrible place! My elderly mother came and tried to purchased apples today. She did not understand the pricing of a bushel of apples was $20 and half bushel was $20. She paid for the apples and loaded them on the truck but still didn't understand and wanted to ask more questions. The Manager/ owner called her names and was very hateful to her. He went outside unloaded the apples off of her truck (that she already paid for) and told the cashier to give her the money back since he said she wasn't happy with the apples. Even after several times of my mom telling him she wanted the apples. He told her to go to Walmart, they had apples. I hope they are happy with how horrible they treated a 72 y/o woman. Maybe the police can tell me if this is legal.

0 star!! We had slot booked for picking, upon arrival, we were given bags to pick!! Guess what!! There was not a single apple to pick!! All of them either fell down or spoiled. For whatever valid reason, all they needed to do was inform and provide refunds!! If there isn’t anything to pick, what exactly they were allowing entry for?
Also they asked us to collect from the already picked apple from a big bucket if you don’t find good enough which obviously we can buy from Walmart or other store.

I love this place! I try to go here every fall. The donuts are just what the drive is forth alone. The prices are decent and the vibes are relaxing and chill. I always try to flight of beers, donuts and cider’ I wish there were more things to do around the area, but by the time you have your donuts and flight, it’s an hour or so. The place is kid and dog friendly, and have umbrellas for the outdoor tables now. I look forward to being back again next year.

Just left Windy Hill and we’re very disappointed. We drove over an hour to get there from the Charlotte area with two small children for apple picking and there was hardly a decent apple on the trees. They were all rotten or sliced open all around. We ended up leaving after about 40 minutes and 5 edible apples. I had expressed my disappointment and asked for a refund on the two bags since they don’t have any good apples and the lady just shrugged and said “oh well you paid for it, sorry”.

Needless to say, we won’t be back. There is nothing to do with kids and while the cidary was good those are a dime a dozen.
