Our family of seven (4 generations) from Texas had dinner at the Purple Pie Place while staying at Custer visiting the Black Hills area. My daughter and I knew after seeing all the pie options that we wanted to share a sandwich and have a piece of pie. We had the Turkey Panini and it was very good. Every time we passed this place it was busy! So we tried it out. Now we know why the parking lot is full! We can't have ice cream but the pies were great! The staff are very friendly! Service with a smile!

Mostly a dessert place, but a good spot for a light meal. We stopped here for dinner. I had the turkey bacon panini and my wife had the chicken pot pie. We both got peach pie with peach ice cream for dessert. Everything was good but the pie and ice cream is the real reason to come here.
