We enjoyed this tiny restaurant enough to seek it out twice while staying in Custer State Park. The sweet sauce was great - sweet with just enough tang. We also had the brisket, pulled pork and spare ribs. Of the three, the one we liked best was the ribs - very meaty and amazing value for the price. We will come back the next time we are in S Dakota!
My wife and I were on vacation and near Custer, SD and we went into Dakota BBQ about 6 PM after a second trip through the Wilderness Trail and finally saw some Bison. So cool!This is a take-out BBQ place and they were sold out of everything except pulled pork and coleslaw. Lucky for me, I am a huge pulled pork fan.
