Ahhh Mustang Sally's. What can I say? It's my latest foodie crush! Ordered their fish and chips the other night. I was thrilled by the portion size and delighted with the golden color of the battered fish. It was perfect. The batter was snappy. The fish was flakey and moist. 1st bite was heaven. Batter, fish, salt and cocktail sauce. Simply perfect.

My family was just passing through Deadwood on a road trip about 13 years ago and we stopped by Mustang Sally's. For reference, I am 27 years old now. I ordered the wings and they were alright, not amazing. NOW you might be wondering why I am writing this review 13 years later; what brought Mustang Sally's to my mind enough to take 10 minutes out of my day to write this review when I thought the wings were simply "alright."My brother offered me a bite of his burger, so I did. In that moment, the name "Mustang Sally's was forever memorialized in my brain. I remember the exact moment. As I chewed, I looked up at the tree line from my seat outside and a single tear rolled down my eye. That was the best damn bite of a burger I've ever had. My Dad was confused and when I told him it was the burger he was incredulous, then he had a good laugh. I've never had food bring me to tears before then or since. I wish I remembered what burger it was, but if they're half as good now as they were back then I'd drive 6 hours just to get one. I'm no burger connoisseur, in fact I don't even like them very much, but I hope I find myself in Deadwood again one day so I can try another one of their burgers. I hope everyone passing through Deadwood takes the opportunity to try one of Mustang Sally's burgers, for me it was an unforgettable experience.

Mustang Sally's is great! Great bloody mary. Even better burgers and wings. And the shakes are delicious. Pool, darts, golden tee and pin ball plus lots of tvs for sports. Very nice bartenders and servers as well.

There were not a whole lot of options for a quick lunch in Deadwood, but we were pleasantly surprised by Mustang Sally's. There were some negative reviews, but our service was very friendly and fast. The bacon cheeseburger was really good, perfectly cooked, delicious bun, and it was huge. The fries and chicken breast nuggets were really good too - they didn't taste frozen and we thought they were very tasty, better than most places outside of Deadwood. We would definitely come back and recommend this place for lunch base don this experience.

Very busy weekend and the staff was incredible. Seated quickly even with a bigger group. Waitress greeted us and took our drink order immediately. Food was delicious. Had such a great experience ate there twice while visiting Deadwood!

We went down to Mustang Sally's to watch the baseball playoff game. We had great food, beers and service. Wanted cheese cake for dessert but they only have pudding shots or milk shake. Oh well.
Great place to get a quick bite to eat. Food was delicious.Had mozzarella sticks and boneless spicy honey garlic wings. For the spicy fanatics, was not spicy at all, which was a slight disappointment but the flavor was great.Parking: It's in front of a public parking garage.

Neat atmosphere as it's in what appears to be an old gas / auto service station. The staff was friendly. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. And the food was good. My buddies and I all ordered the 86 Burger. We all loved them. The beer selection is decent as well. No complaints at all.

Walking in, we immediately felt accepted and part of the crowd. That was nice. The food was pretty good, not amazing, but given the location and prices it equaled out. My husband’s Cheeseburger was cooked well and was tasty. My Shrimp and Fries were good, not great. No regrets, just not sure if we would eat here again with all the other choices available in Deadwood.
