My family and i (hubby with 2 boys) went to SD for Easter break (Mar 25-29 2024) and after having driven 7 hrs coming from Colorado we ended up at this restaurant. Our server was the best he even gave my dog a doggie treat and some water. Truly a pet friendly restaurant, my puppy enjoyed all the attention too. You'll find the friendliest people at Paddy O Neill Irish Pub & Grill.Kid-friendliness: My 7yr old said everyone was so friendly ?

When you can't even get a refill on your drink. Or get silverware for food after 15 minutes. Got native taco, aka Indian taco. No cheese or sour cream. Asked for it. Ate meal before kitten staff even brought it out. The table was done eating. Had to run down someone just to pay and leave. Bad service all the way around. Food was good but had set in food window too long . Food was room temp.

Paddy O’Neill’s is hands down one of the best breakfast and lunch/dinner spots in all of rapid city! From the quality of food, prices, hospitality, and atmosphere I can’t say enough good things! 10/10 Delicious! The Keltic tots, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy are to die for!! I would recommend this place to the pope if he ever visited.

Stopped by while in the area on business. These guys love to talk. Not sure if it's a local culture thing, but if you're an extrovert, you'll love it. Trivia night was fun and lots of people were there. The food is good.

The revamped 2024 menu was a great step. Bringing back the Anglo-Irish stuff (cottage pie; bangers and mash) gets a big thumbs up.Bangers were on par with the better stuff I ate living in the United Kingdom. The gravy hit the spot. Will be interesting to try the local spin of fish and chips (walleye). Good distinction from typical bar fare. There is usually a 20-40 min wait, but I prefer the fresh cooked over "fast" any day.

This was the worst dining experience we have had in some time. It was 2pm, place was dead. We ordered and waited over 30 mins for food that was equivalent to tv dinners! I was shocked because the prices suggest they would have decent meals. A single lady came in about 20 mins after us and she was served the same time as us. And was also expressing concern with her meal. The server was literally gossiping with the bartender the entire time, the cook even brought the food out. Do not believe the 4 stars, this place is rough.

I stopped in to get something to eat and enjoy a beer...no one came take my order. I had time to look over the menu and still no one. After 5-10 minutes I left, I guess I wasn't welcome ?
Have been here several times and mostly enjoyed my time there. However this last experience was ridiculous. A friend and I both ordered the fish tacos. We each got two tacos with barely enough fish for one taco spread out across four. The slaw on top was as flavorless as the bits of fish inside. Basically ate a couple of corn tortillas for $13 each. Just ridiculous.

Lindsey is great, if she's not there just leave. Or better yet still go because it's great
