Server didn’t ever tell us his name. Margaritas were ok but queso fundido was very watery . Our waiter didn’t ask us if we wanted anything added to it either. We had to flag another waitress down for napkins and ask for water to be refilled. Food was mediocre at best. Felt we were totally ignored by our waiter and staff. Could have gone to Chili’s and had better food!

I only gave 3 stars because of the hostess, he looked like had a broken leg and he was so nice, kind, and welcoming. The waitress was not welcoming and the food tasted not good at all. I wish we skipped this restaurant and gone somewhere else instead. We had shrimp tacos.

We were told service would be slow because our server was busy. We said that was fine we were easy to please... We are easy to please..45 minutes with no water or drinks of any kind was the slowest. Alot of our food was could. More ice than margarita. It was really disappointing. The table next to us yelled at the waitress so they got free drinks and better service we were polite and said nothing and no sorry was even given. Too bad because we always make a point to eat here when I'm town on vacation. Probably not anymore.

Rad was the best bartender/waiter we've had in Rapid City! Strawberry margaritas were delicious, we didnt plan on ordering food but did because the plates coming out looked amazing. We were NOT disappointed in that choice! We were in town from Colorado and will definitely be back on our next trip!

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant..my husband is 100 percent mexican and the food they serve isn't Mexican food! First experience wasn't any better then second however I felt everyone deserves a second chance. My son, my sons girlfriend and myself had gone this second time around. It took our waitress 15 min to come to our table to ask for drinks. The place wasn't busy at all at 2 in the afternoon on Monday 8/19. I ordered a horchata it tasted like it came out of a box. The waitress came back and took our order, she wrote nothing down I also had a Togo order, she forgot our appetizer, it took her 10 min to get a water. The food came the rice was dried out and hard, beans were crusted on top, I had more cheese in my burrito then meat. I order two tortas carnita meat to go, when I got home the sandwhich was smothered in cheese with fried potato. Again not Mexican food. My sons gfriend came home and threw up all night after eating the birria, we will never return to this place, Avoid this place!
Can’t lie, this was a pretty horrible experience. Maybe it could be chocked up to an off day but wow. 30 minutes to greet us at the table after being seated. Table and menus sticky to the point that I requested a wet rag to wipe down our own table (rag never came) Took another 20 minutes to get our drinks and be able to order our food. Food was mediocre at best- Spanish rice was something akin to coming from an uncle Ben’s instant rice pouch, chimichanga reminded us of a Shepards pie in a fried tortilla, torta was unlike any torta I’ve ever had before. I have yet to see one come out of a Mexican restaurant on a brioche bun, no beans, avocado, peppers, lettuce or tomato. All in all it was pretty disappointing for the cost of the food. Confirmed with locals that we made a huge mistake by stopping in there and were given recommendations for some far superior Mexican food. It’s sad to see this, the establishment is an absolute gold mine of a location, space and atmosphere. It has a lot of potential that was went by the wayside.

What a cool place right downtown. Good food and service. I like the sweet cornbread balls. Great experience. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.
We drove all the way from Custer on a Wednesday night to be told they were not seating anyone for the night at 6:45pm. No explanation, rude host, plenty of open tables. This place is a joke. Do not recommend
