This is a great property in an awesome location in Rapid City. Best staff in the business (Victoria is my favorite) and even offers a shuttle service to the airport 10 miles away. Great rates and a memorable place to stay!

Stay someplace else! Is my best advice. This hotel is poorly managed. The front desk is responsible for when the housekeeping happens and they don’t come in automatically and you have ask for service. But good luck if you get it. Also service staff in the restaurant for breakfast was two grumpy men who didn’t care how fast they moved. The same two men for 5 days and not once did they crack a smile. And the buffet is not great and when you do ask for something off the menu, for additional charge, it takes forever. Only thing good about this hotel is the location!! Also it is very noisy from the street even on the 9the floor and when I asked if my room could be moved to the opposite side, and not on the Main St side, she said both sides where noisy and offered me ear plugs. And remember you get what you pay for so for the rate of $119 a night do not expect soft tissues or toilet paper or nice sheets!!! Also not sure who designed the rooms and thought for two adults in the king bed size room that two tiny draws were good enough to use to unpack . The blinds on the windows were tricky to use, took two of us to figure it out, and the fancy modern lights they have dont give off great light if you can find the on off switches.

Victoria at the front desk was cool. But housekeeping could definitely step it up a few notches. Upon our arrival, we found a dirty towel left behind in our bathroom; no bottles of water provided; and only one cup available for a room with two double-beds (weird). Airport shuttle service was appreciated.

We have stayed in numerous hotels over the years and this was by far the worst!!! I can't believe Best Western would let them list this as a premiere hotel or even a Best Western! We stayed on the presidential floor in a presidential suite. We didn't see anyone else up there and when we entered our room, we totally understood why! 30+ year old furniture and carpet. Very small and filthy! I used Clorox wipes on all the surfaces and they were black. I am not kidding!!! The windows were dirty and the chairs had food and whatever all over them! The only thing clean was the bedding and our bathroom was somewhat clean. I wore my socks on the carpet and I had to put my shoes back on. We were suppose to stay a second night and canceled. The young man at the front desk when we checked out could of cared less when I told him about it. Would not recommend!!!

Excellent hotel for its age. Great location, walking distance to food and entertainment. Short drive to chain restaurants. Nothing fancy about the rooms, they have everything you need. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, modern hotel in the heart of downtown Rapid City. We did not go to the restaurant or bar but it looked very nice. This hotel is walking distance to Main Street Shops & Park as well as Presidents Statues on street corners. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. The bonus is FREE PARKING

There was a horrible smell of raw sewage in room 815. I went down to desk to ask if there was a problem with sewer. The desk clerk sent maintainence to check. He was rude just like desk clerk and said he didn't smell anything. Not sure how but when he opened the ceiling door in bath he pulled out a towel saturated with black sewer leakage. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. Needless to say we left immediately. Now we just have to try to get reimbursed for the three night we didn't stay. I would rather sleep outside than to ever stay there again.

I stayed here for work two weeks ago. My room was dirty. The actual bathroom counter and bedside table was dirty- like sticky dirty. I got a wash rag from the bathroom and used hand soap to clean off the countertops. It made me doubt the cleanliness of the whole room. I got in late and was leaving super early so I didn’t ask to change rooms. I also suspect all the rooms are dirty. Lobby was nice.

This is within in walking distance of most things in historic downtown. Word of warning, however, if you have your own vehicle. Plan to spend some time in the evenings waiting for a parking spot to open up.

Wonderful experience. The Rushmore is centrally located and everyone on the Staff was overwhelmingly accommodating. Especially the Hotel Manager Stacy. We can’t speak highly enough about the great service we had. Everyone from the Airport Shuttle, the Front Desk, the Restaurant and Housekeeping were so pleasant and Customer Service minded. If you are taking a trip to Rapid City, this is the Hotel to stay at.

Quiet, clean, helpful staff. Great location! All in all a 5 star stay. We did not use the restaurant associated with the hotel only because we wanted to get out and walk. Great coffee about a block away and many good food choices within a two block radius.

After staying three nights at this hotel I came and confronted ghost in my room.Room 915 President Suite! I came back from my tour and room hasn’t been clean out. Bed was not made , bathtub had a dark foot print mark , never saw any guest on the 9th floor coming and going. I feel like the receptionist knew room is haunted when they gave my husband the room key. Husband told me the two girls at the front desk smirk at each other when the room key card was handed to my husband . Don’t book room 915. I’m very disappointed in the staff. I don’t recommend this hotel !

We just stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights - during the Sturgis Rally. Rates were expectedly high but services were disappointing: no fridge included in the rate, no shelves, nor drawers: old and faded furniture. We got an Omaha Ave view room and while the evening views were great, we twice heard strident trains during the middle of the night. We did not use the Enigma restaurant - lots of options nearby.Other reviewers have pointed out these shortcomings - I should have read them before selecting this hotel. Having experienced other BW Premier hotels, I was not expecting this kind of penny-pinching.

We stayed here for Sturgis. Room not bad, lacking plug ins, no microwave, no refrigerator. Only thing they did was bring clean towels and empty garbage. No making of beds. Not enough staff to bring coffee to room. I had to go down to front desk to get coffee for room. No swimming pool like advertised on website, no on site laundry.

Great location in Downtown Rapid City with friendly staff and very spacious rooms. The room and the bathroom were clean and updated. The a/c works well but it’s super loud, may need ear plugs.I find it as good as the Alex at half the price.
