I went to Spinasse with a few friends to celebrate graduation. The staff was very attentive, kind and professional. We were given a seat cushion for my friend's daughter, so she could sit comfortably. The food was AMAZING! It was my first time at a restaurant near this caliber. We spent about 3 hours here enjoying each other company. They had perfect wine recommendations. Overall an amazing experience and reward for 4 year of hard work in university.
I'm a guy who doesn't like noise and this place is very acceptable. The service is excellent and the food is really good. If I went every night, I would gain 100 pounds in a month.
The food was outstanding. I was beyond impressed from the first course to the last. Has to be of the best Italian Restaurants in Seattle.
Wonderful Capitol Hill Italian eatery. House-made pastas, good wine list, emphasis on fresh and local. Love having my expectations exceeded: the cucumber panna cotta on the dessert menu is brilliant!
Authentic Italian cuisine with an absolutely incredible wine list and beautifully plated food. Dress up or down, you won't be disappointed.

What a really neat place! There were no reservations available (they say they are booked weeks in advance) but we were able to walk in at 6:30 and get a table for 2 immediately on the patio overlooking the harbor. Entrance is in an alleyway with the only telltale sign being, literally, a pink door. Ambience was cozy. We were not able to see the aerial performances but we may try to come back for the burlesque/cabaret entertainment (sounds like fun!). Food was excellent.
This place was WONDERFUL once we finally found it there's no real sign outside in the alley where the entrance is, just the pink door. The food was GREAT and we went on a night when the trapeze act was there. It's dainty and the food was more than worth the prices. We got a great table overlooking the market and the bay. It was perfect for our girls night. Loved it
Love this place. The food is incredibly delicious. Risotto, Lasagna, bread with specialty olive oil. Shout out to our awesome waiter tonight, Jake! Great service all around. Loved the live music on a Tuesday night.
What a happy accident that we discovered The Pink Door! The food is amazing, and I was so pleased to learn they offer delicious gluten free bread and pasta! My boyfriend had the spinach lasagna and I had g-f pasta with meatballs and red sauce. Sublime flavors in both dishes! The service here is wonderful, to boot! We were lucky enough to be seated at a window table so we enjoyed a view of the sound. All in all, this place really delivers a magical evening.
A classic eatery that doesn't disappoint. Everything I've had here is good or great, drinks, appetizers, mains, desserts. Confident and consistent service. The inside seating is a bit loud in the evenings, especially with the live music, creating an upbeat and energetic atmosphere. The last time I was here, there were three birthdays being celebrated and a proposal being made.

I was told this was the best pasta I would ever have and I wasn't let down. Waited about 45 minutes for a seat and food, but it was 1000% worth the wait. Friendly staff and quick service. Straightforward ever-changing menu lets allows the food to be the star of the show in this cozy spot.
This is hands down some of the best pasta I have ever had in my life. And this is from someone who's spent plenty of time in Italy. Their specials rotate so you can never be too sure what is being served up. My friend and I couldn't decide so we ordered one of each and called it good.
Let me start by saying that Im not a fan of Italian food. However, this place changed my view on Italian food. Food here is unbelievable! Tasty, amazing and so worth it! This is the only place I eat Italian. Note that the wait line is usually 1hr, but you wont regret it.
This was a culinary experience of a lifetime. The pasta was the best I have ever eaten. If you are anywhere near Seattle, get here. There is always a line out front, but so worth the wait (we waited over an hour to get in).
Its Friday lunch . Decided to go Italian place. So came here . It's small.place only open for Monday to Friday lunch . Every day new menus. Check their website. Food is proper portion and good balanced pasta. Tasty and fresh and handmade. Definitely worth waiting 30 mins. Be ready to wait in queue and for order.

Loved the atmosphere, beautiful space. Just Ok food. I actually expected better for the price, $24 pasta tasted more like $10. The food I could get over (that happens) but service...not ok! Not friendly (borderline rude) but what got me was the fact that our waitress took my $7 beer, without a word, BEFORE I finished it! A 1/3 left, was not happy.
homemade pasta is always a treat. This is pretty good stuff. will definitely return. parking was sort of hard. lots of homeless folks competing for your ticket when you leave.
Delicious Italian food with lots of different pasta options to try. Great happy hour menu if you can make it.
Delicious food and great bartender. Also great on gluten free options
Great Italian food, fresh producto and really good menu. Excellent service.

Intimate atmosphere, a pretty good wine selection and well-portioned dishes. The staff was courteous and attentive while the other guests were a mix of regulars and newbies. A great mix of people in a family-sized location.
They totally screwed up our place on the list, causing us to wait an extra half hour to be seated. But they were totally great and apologetic about it, and the service was friendly and professional. The food is magnificent. Wonderful spot.
I'm extremely picky about Caesar Dressing. Machiavelli is authentic and delicious. Loved their lasagna and their Italian sausage special. Place is a little noisy with all hard surfaces and small dining area, but their food makes the place worth the noise.
Great neighborhood Italian food at a very reasonable price. Nothing fancy or pretentious about this place and sizable portions too!
Took the family last night for dinner while visting Seattle. The wait was well worth it. The food was great. The bread, sauces and pasta eas all good will keep going back.
