“I saw the reviews and had to try this place out. I was not impressed with the menu since it has only the basic fish. The fish was fresh and tasted good, but not great. The price was a bit outrageous for the portions they provided. However, you have to try it once to know it.”
“So good. We had the rockfish bowl, salmon teriyaki and fries. The atmosphere is nice and you can order from Aslan next door. Be prepared for a line as they seem to meter things to keep the kitchen and dining room at reasonable levels. Other food looked great. We will be back for the shrimp toast, oysters, crab roll, etc for sure.”
“Really incredible, unique omakase course. Chef sources and flies in distinct selections, then prepares each with painstaking attention. Great experience and quality fish.”

Spinasse
“My husband and I had a small local wedding, and chose to spend our wedding night dinner here at Spinasse and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We did the MenuDegustazione and were absolutely blown away at the amazing taste and presentation of every portion. In addition to the phenomenal food options, our waiter Aidan was an absolute pleasure and made our wedding night dinner absolute perfection. Another thanks to all the wonderful staff and executive chef that cooked each meal to perfection. We will definitely be returning.”
“Had a chill time at Ghostfish brewing on a Wednesday evening. Didn't adore the food we tried, but definitely appreciated the variety of diet accommodating options. Beer was gluten free which is a feat for sure.”

“The food and service were amazing! The steaks were cooked perfectly with the fat melting in your mouth. The drinks were delicious and well worth what we payed. As for the cheese cake, I've never had one as good as this. 5/5 for us, thank you for helping me celebrate my wife's 33rd Birthday!”
“Great fresh food, tasted amazing. Provable 25& per person for full meal, small cozy space but bumping so waiting in line is likely. Good American Asian fusion breakfast.”
“I must say that the cuisine served here is simply delectable - without a doubt, it is the most delicious food you can find in all of Seattle. And besides the amazing food, I had the pleasure of conversing with Joe, the manager, who was not only great to talk to but also incredibly approachable.Vegetarian options: I must say that the cuisine served here is simply delectable - without a doubt, it is the most delicious food you can find in all of Seattle.Parking: straight parkingKid-friendliness: Nice, small cozy placeWheelchair accessibility: Street level”

“There is a reason it can be hard to get a reservation at this restaurant. This is a special place. Hands down the best meal I've had in Seattle and some of the best Italian food I've had in the States. The service is top notch, as they go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied and cared for. Chef Katie really cares about the food that comes out of the kitchen and it shows. I highly recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing. Most dishes are perfect for two and you'll want to share in order to get a good sampling of the menu variety. You can tell a lot of heart goes into the food as it hits Italian comfort food spot on. Highly recommend the focaccia and you can't go wrong with any of the pastas, but I recommend the tagliatelle ragù if you're looking for something more traditional. The atmosphere is also a unique experience and makes you feel like you're coming home for family dinner. I highly recommend dining at Il Nido, you will not be disappointed.”
“Cute little spot for dinner and drinks. If you ask the waiter, they will be able to suggest some menu options that can be made vegan, but only a few and only 1 entree (at least when I went). I got the vegan Hokkien noodle and it was okay. Very tomato saucy rather than a dry wok tossed noodle. Actually everything advertised as wok tossed (vegan and regular hokkien noodles, broccoli) were very wet. Our table joked that they must have put the food in the wok, but forgot to turn on the fire. I also got the Thai basil clam without pork sausage and it was AMAZING. Super flavorful. I slurped every shell and maybe a bit of the bowl. They also had a vegan coconut tapioca with pandan sorbet and it was unique and very delicious, I was pleasantly surprised by that one! Drinks were interesting sounding, but had that cheap alcohol taste to me or somehow the proportions of ingredients just didn’t end up tasting that good. We ordered 6 drinks and didn’t love any of them.”
“Really incredible, unique omakase course. Chef sources and flies in distinct selections, then prepares each with painstaking attention. Great experience and quality fish.”
“Finally…! Best Cold Brew & Pour Over in Seattle!(Blossom: Ethiopia Guji & Prolog: Kenyan Kigari)Owners are warm, inviting, and respectful.Prefer a darker roast? Opt for an espresso w/ homemade cream.Delicious toast options. Highly recommend the Ricotta Tomato Toast. Quality healthy Avocado Toast.Seating fills up. A hotspot for college study sessions. Be prepared to wait or take to go.”
“I got a burrito to-go from rojo's at the arc'teryx event at VW and it was SO delicious and filling! I have been sorely missing good vegan Mexican food in Seattle, so it was such a joy to find Rojo's. But vegan or not, it's a must try - the plant-based meats are flavorful and hearty! I also got to chat with the owner who was so cool and down to earth. Looking forward to checking out the Pioneer Square restaurant soon!”

“Tried the adobada, al pastor, and campechano tacos. I eat a lot of tacos, and will happily ride for hours to try a new place. These are really, really good tacos. Do yourself a favor, try some. Wish they had a larger space with seating.”

“Took six months to get a reservation, but it was an elevated sushi experience. Expensive, but I've never had some of the dishes and sushi that we're included in the 7 (or so) courses.”

“Top notch food with respect to both quality and taste. Very good selection of meats. Service could be a little better but they were doing well considering the number of guests, I read some of the negative comments before coming here to get my own feeling about this restaurant and think most of them were ridiculous. If you want cheap beef go to a burger place”
“Have been here 15 times and always have an amazing time with any type of company I bring. Easily my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Great for intimate situations for brunch or dinner.”

“This was a birthday meal for my son so I really wanted this to be a great selection. We were not disappointed! We were greeted by the chef's in the prep area as soon as we walked through the door. The front dining room is not very large but we didn't feel cramped at all. We had reservations and waited about 5 minutes to get seated. The atmosphere here was not stodgy or too quiet and made for comfortable conversation at our table. We ordered the flat fee Chef's Choice Sushi Course, which is a 5 course, 19 piece meal. Presentation, flavors, selection...it was awesome! Paired with good sake', it cannot be beat! (See pics) Our waitress was extremely pleasant and explained the pieces in the meal at each delivery...I wish I remembered her name to give a shout out, sorry. The area where this restaurant is located isn't bad but parking will be tough as this area has a number of dinner establishments. Figure out where the parking is ahead of time. We actually walked from Queen Anne area. I highly recommend Shiro's and will be back next time I'm in town!Parking: Plan ahead depending on time of meal”

“Magnificent! Service was perfect for the occasion and our food was served faster than expected after ordering. Two of the dishes were swapped leading to a bit of confusion about who ordered what, but was quickly resolved. Broccolini was cooked well and seasoned nicely. The cauliflower looked fantastic but was very spicy, too much heat for my liking. Each steak had a slightly different flavor profile, with the Australian wagyu ribeye the least impressive of them (for $ value). Vacio had nice texture and a rich grilled/char flavor. Delmonico was an outstanding thick cut bursting with marbled flavor. They were a bit on the rarer side, but perfectly acceptable and much better than overdone. It's not a big dining area and felt cramped and noisy, bench seats not very comfortable, and tabletop space was completely filled with food for three people. This was a beautiful meal and I'm looking forward to coming back again soon for another thick juicy steak. Bravo!Dietary restrictions: Our server didn't inquire if anyone had restrictions, but was great about explaining ingredients”

“I truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The only annoyance and it is minor. The bartender kept calling me and everyone. "My love." At first, it was cute and welcoming, but after the 3rd or 4th time. The phrase "lost its meaning. And just became filler words. Other than that, I will gladly return. This place was great ? ?”

“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!”
“One of the best Mexican restaurants in Seattle is now open for brunch on the weekends and it’s fabulous! They have a mimosa cart with four juices and a party cart with hot chocolate! They have cafe de olla! They have two kinds of chilaquiles! As we have come to expect from D’ Ma Santa, the food is absolutely incredible and the service is wonderful. This restaurant is an absolute gem. We will be back soon to try more on the menu.”
“I've been a loyal fan of Lady Jaye (and the crew before they were LJ) for years, and I can't sing its praises enough. The food is consistently top-notch, and those cocktails? SO impressive. As a whiskey lover, I appreciate their variety of whiskey-based drinks. The fun twists, like the soft serve + toppings dessert, popcorn on every table, and American cheese on their Wagyu burger - not just for show ya'll—it all tastes amazing and adds to the vibe. The place is cozy and welcoming, no pretentiousness here. Servers are warm, friendly, and always on top of their game.A few weeks ago, me and some friends booked the Friday night smoked tomahawk. Best decision ever. Tomahawk was smoked to perfection, juicy, and medium-rare. And the sides? We loved 'em all. The meal easily fed three hungry adults and a ravenous 7-year-old, and we were stuffed!Definitely a favorite spot of mine. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out—go check it out!”

“This is a very cozy soba restaurant that attempts the fine dining experience. It definitely stands out among the Seattle restaurants in terms of the food. The food is definitely very innovative and the staff provides really detailed explanations about the serving. My only reservation is that the food is not premium enough to be this expensive.”
“Unique restaurant with experimental menu. Had the mackarel as entree and bone marrow as appetizer. Both dishes were very different takes on those ingredients and were very tasty. The decor and ambienece was classy yet relaxing. And the staff were courteous and helpful. Overall, great find!”
“Delicious tapas with an extensive menu.We had a party of 5 and decided to order a al carte and eat it family style instead of the tasting menu. This worked out great as many of the plates came in 4-5 pieces. While many of the entrees were amazing. All the desserts were extremely good. Especially the bone marrow cake which was crisp and delicious and paired nicely with the rice pudding and dulce de leche cream. Can't wait to go back!”
“Beautiful spot for a dinner date! We went here to celebrate a birthday and the entire experience was wonderful. Food tasted fresh, the two wine options went great with the meals and the dessert was simple but tasty. Will definitely be coming back (maybe during the day the next time since the space is so pretty).Parking is a bit tricky but there is an alley right next to the restaurant where you can find additional parking spots.”
“Amazing bun bo hue. The broth was very rich and flavorful. I will say: the short rib is unnecessary and I wouldn’t have it added next time. The meat was just hard to chew off the bone. Other than that, I loved the soup. As someone from Houston where Vietnamese food is hard to beat, this place did it well.”
“My partner and I LOVE NEKO!! This place is a slice of heaven. Everyone who works here is so kind and the kitties bring such joy. Cute vibes all the time, such a dreamy place.”
“Great place to hang out with friends and grab a delicious craft cocktail while snacking on some awesome appetizers. Atmosphere is cozy and the bartenders and servers are super kind and friendly.”
“Excellent! Cool atmosphere, nice staff! Delicious pizza and burgers. Great cocktails. Can’t wait to go back. Outdoor seating!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility yes!”
“Never disappoints. We go here every time we visit Seattle. Blackened tuna was perfectly done on this visit and we've never had anything but good experiences. Great atmosphere.”

“It was wonderful. All around great experience. Loved the indoor pool and fun atmosphere. Chloe was delightful at the coffee bar and Bonnie was a great help at front desk! Recommemd 10/10.”
“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”
“This food blew me away! Every single thing I ordered absolutely delicious. I had the grilled lamb, BEST I EVER HAD. Please go here, you won’t be disappointed! Just don’t go late at night. Not the best area, but the person working told me he would bring it out to my car. The area isn’t the best, but I didn’t want to leave any less than a 5-star as their food deserves the best rating!”
“Cute bar in the hotel. I really enjoy the astronaut with the googly eyes at the entrance. That gave me a good laugh. It's a great place to hang out. The bartenders made the drinks super fast. Drinks are delicious.”
“Very good food and conviniently open 24 hours. Maybe a bit loud but tolerable. Montecristo and french dip sandwish were great a 1lbs of tater tots were amazing. Will return for sure.”
“Best subway I have ever been to. The sandwich gave me an almost out of body experience, a mix between sexual and sensual. Without this subway I don’t think I could live my day to day life.”
“Carne asada fries are sooo good. Best midnight grub spot ever. Portions are huge (carne asada fries are plenty for 2 ppl) and super fast & friendly service. I’ve been like 10 times, no complaints. Not the best food ever, but still great being the only thing ”
“I had some Sunday ! Great ! Seasoned to the bone , not too much crunchy coating , but just perfect ! Spicy chicken but not too hot ! Will definitely be traveling to this spot !! ?”
“A bit pricey, but the food was delicious and the service was friendly, especially considering I was a bit picky. I was going to have the veggie omelette but they couldn't separate the red peppers. So I got the berry banana pancakes and substituted fresh fruit for the hash browns, and a water. I got so full you practically needed a wheelbarrow to carry me out.”
“The gentleman working today 4/7 at 3:45 was so kind and made my sandwich perfectly. We had good conversation and he made me feel warm and welcome, too tier customer service for a subway! Give him a raise ❤️”
“Good place to find affordable foods event at late night . We tired chilly paneer Maggie, sabudana vada and manchurian fried rice. Both the recipes were good but sabudana vada is ok and felt it is bit costly compared to other two.”
“There's an insidious conspiracy amongst Seattle restaurants to close well before certain segments of food seekers, be they the partiers or working the late shift and clocking out in the early morning, have limited to no options.Albierto's boldly breaks with this tradition and serves a variety of tex mex and Cali Mex comfort classics through the little hours of the early morning when people need somewhere to go after the clubs close or they finish their shift at 5am.The food is solid and filling and well priced and for that we thank Albierto's.”
“Good burgers for the price. Comparing to the insane prices of burgers at the big chains it's nice to see a local burger restaurant keeping the quality of the food in line with the prices. The deep fried Oreos were worth a try, their fries were tasty and crunchy. The burgers were so tasty and I ate my burger so fast that it was gone before I realized it and it was gone without savoring it... I was kinda sad. Only cons we had was that service was kind of slow, probably because we had a rather large order so people who arrived after us got their food before us. The atmosphere is only lacking because of all the unsavory types wandering about.”

“I frequent this spot and always have a great time. Perfect for cozy conversations at the start or end of your night. You can’t go wrong with any of the cocktails and the horseradish vodka is a real treat if you’re into that kinda thing. 10/10 would recommend.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Fantastic food and lovely vibes! Probably the best deal you can get for breakfast food in Pike Place Market. I recommend the walrus crumpet for a sweet breakfast and the egg blend for a savory one!”
“I frequent this spot and always have a great time. Perfect for cozy conversations at the start or end of your night. You can’t go wrong with any of the cocktails and the horseradish vodka is a real treat if you’re into that kinda thing. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Great quality coffee and consistency in the espresso based drinks. The macchiato comes with a palate cleanser which so far no other cafe i’ve been to has offered, so, neat. They also have a connected cafe which sells savory breakfast food which you should definitely check out.EDITThis is why I can only get cortados here. The baristas do not play.”
“he fried chicken is absolutely delicious, even reheated later. We live on Whidbey, and I picked up the chicken on my way home from Seattle, and it was still great. What a treat to have a menu where it’s all gluten free. At first I thought $8 seemed expensive for a chicken thigh, but they are huge! Everything tastes like it is made with care from high quality ingredients. We also enjoyed the crispy potatoes and butter mochi. My husband, who has celiac, was in chicken heaven. A few notes: Definitely pre-order. They seem to be busy from right when they open at 4pm. Also it can be hard to find a parking spot in the area so you will want to allow time for that. It’s all worth it though!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free yes”
“Went for a dinner on a weekend and was able to secure a table without wait although it was quite busy. We were welcomed with a big smile and with pleasant service. Tried qatena and loved it. Crispy like a paper dosa. Doro wot and veggie combo were fresh and delicious. I will rate this as our current favorite Ethiopian restaurant in seattle after Saba got closed. Will visit again!”
“If you want an amazing Sandwich in Seattle, it's hard to beat Mean Sandwich. High quality ingredients, delicious and inventive flavors, and a focus on making the food damn good. The vibes are great and the staff are friendly, creating an incredible hole in the wall. It's one of my favorite places to grab a beer, hangout, and eat some delicious food. Can't recommend enough!”
“Stellar service, super tasty food, in a trendy / cute / comfy little spot! Went here for private event for a friends 40th and this spot lives up to all the hype. Will leave you asking "how had I not been here before?!"”
“What a nice place, second time I've been there and the service is excellent, the pizzas were delicious, the salad and my shot of espresso were delicious. I enjoyed it a lot!!?? ”
“I ordered a lamb burger at the bar and it was delicious. the goat cheese, lamb and grilled onion worked really well together. The English muffin style bun was crispy and worked surprisingly well too.”
“I love the wings here, they are prepared perfectly and the sauces are all yummy. Don’t know why people complain about the size, they are your standard traditional size and pack a ton of flavor.”
“Great fresh food, tasted amazing. Provable 25& per person for full meal, small cozy space but bumping so waiting in line is likely. Good American Asian fusion breakfast.”
“Delicious vegan and gluten-free ice cream, plus waffle cones! Find ice cream that's both gluten-free and dairy-free is enough of a challenge, that I had given up on ever having an ice cream "cone" again. This was a real treat! I tasted several flavors and they were all delicious. The staff was also very helpful in looking up other ingredients to consider for any allergies. Instead of getting a full scoop, I decided to split one between two seasonal flavors: Carrot Cake and For the Love of Lemon. Both were wonderful! My spouse ordered a full scoop of Jamocha Chaga Fudge. He was amazed and kept asking, "How did they make it so creamy?" The plant-based ice cream truly is "Plant Magic!" We will be back!”
“Great atmosphere. Delicious food. The lady was great service considering it was just her and seemingly nobody else. Fair prices. One of the best in the area. I recommend the cornbread, it was the total takeaway.”
“Sunday brunch visit. Great burgers, excellent fish and chips, super friendly server. Excellent whiskey selection of hard to find bottles, fairly priced. Looking forward to coming back again!”
“I been looking to have a (cow) dairy free carbonara and this is the best thing I ever had. They use sheep milk pecorino, and make their own Caesar dressing. Been looking forward to trying it out, and after talking to the staff to make sure that I was safe from cream or anything, I'm looking forward to coming back! ?Boyfriend had the ragu which has cream and he loved it. Wings are tasty!!Didn't take pics cause we dove right itDietary restrictions: Depending on your dairy restrictions, they don't use cream or milk I. Place of traditional ingredients and I bet are willing to leave them out if considering the ragu..”
“Delicious rolls and noodles! 12th Ave roll and the yakisoba noodles were amazing and definitely a favorite from our group. The noodles were spicy and very flavorful. The 12th Ave roll was delicious with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna. We also ordered the Madison roll but weren’t huge fans of it. Other things we ordered were the miso soup, rainbow roll, and the crunchy cali roll. Service was great and the food came out fast. We also ordered the jasmine tea and hibiscus berry tea. The center garden area in the restaurant is beautiful and the overall ambiance is very calm and inviting. Overall a great dinner!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“A nice quality old school drive through, simple burger and shake place that has never failed to meet my expectations. Highly recommendParking: It can be a little tight to park as this place shares parking with the surrounding business, never had an issue though on the weekend”
“Honestly the most satisfying meal I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. As a vegetarian with an active lifestyle, eating at restaurants can be unrewarding at times - dishes are often either monotonous or lacking sufficient protein. I was delighted to find that the Nasi Lemak was absolutely stacked with wholesome protein-rich ingredients! The meal had peanuts, egg, tofu and chickpeas, and each was thoughtfully and skillfully prepared. And that was just one of the plant-based menu options on offer.Someone in the kitchen there clearly has direct experience with eating vegetarian - I felt very seen and understood by their menu offerings. The culinary splendor was paired with service that felt like a well-oiled machine, and a lively, upbeat atmosphere. I will be back!Vegetarian options: A must-visit for vegetarians!”
“Electric experience. Can’t wait to go back again. Food was authentic, bursting with flavor ! Order the chicken rice and enjoy that chilli sauce. Mix it up with the khai soi noodles and end your time with the mango sticky rice. Flush the whole thing with that Thai iced tea drink. You won’t regret!”
“I have yet to hear heavy metal per the negative reviews, but I have heard a lot of death metal which is 5 stars in itself. And they don't allow kids which is another 5 stars. Great beers, great space.”
“I'm Capt Steve Seattle tour guide Customized Tours and this is one of our customers favorite stops. Customers say one freshly made sandwich is enough for two. Sit in sun or shade and enjoysome great local snacks like Bavarian Meats Landjaeger or Macrina bakery scones and muffins. Always a fresh breeze by the water at Fishermen Terminal. Don't forget to say hello to Captain Joe the owner!”
“The service was amazing, like a well choreographed, but not overly formal dance. The food was of course amazing I love you spectacular. We never felt rushed and felt incredibly well taken care of. Of course be prepared to leave a hefty amount there but one would not go here without knowing that.one nice thing was that we went to her birthday meal and were unable to get in on my wife’s birthday, but put our names in on the waiting list and several days prior and opening on her birthday appeared and we were able to change our reservation so that might be possible.”
“Best breakfast sandwich in the area, freshly fried eggs, bacon, and a nicely buttered bagel. Grace is incredibly friendly and we are always happy when we can stop in before work.”
“One of the best pizza spot in town. As soon as you step inside the mouthwatering scent of freshly baked pizza welcome you to a true five-star treat. Friendly service, cozy vibes, and a menu filled with top-notch pizza? , beer? , and wine? makes it a perfect spot for everyone. Super spacious with an option of outdoor sitting as well. And can’t forget about the backyard patio.Ps: pets? and family friendly?”
“The best to go coffee around. They even recognize regulars and when they see you car, by the time you hit the window your coffee is ready. Fast, efficient, great coffee.”
“A reliably great establishment, bite after bit, in-between life’s book.I have walked by a few hundred times or more at least. “Always has treats for my dog also they don't have the $5 card minimum anymore. They accept all payments including Apple Pay. They don't accept cash anymore because of safety reasons.”
“We live really close so we come here a lot. Yeah the drive thru is nowhere near as fast as Starbucks, so don’t come here in a hurry. Otherwise, consistently great coffee, great selection of rotating seasonal drinks, and great customer service. I think it’s perfect for a lazy Sunday.”
“It’s been awhile and I mean a long time since I ate at Zest Fast Foods. My mom and I love their vanilla ice cream ? the prawns and chips, burgers fries ? just everything. The Customer Service is FANTASTIC ????????????.”
“Thank you to the person who wrote a review on short rib bone soup! It’s very Very VERY delicious and flavorful. I like that the soup come with a little bit glass noodle too. The ban Chan is as good as usual! Feel satisfied after a hot meal. ??service is friendly too.”
“Listen.. you’re not going to get a better cheesesteak in Western WA than you would here. My wife and I have been living here for almost a decade and we are so happy we found this place! The cheesesteak is cooked to perfection. Seasoned meat and crispy fries. The atmosphere is great. Staff is super friendly. My wife and I just moved to Auburn & we make the 40 min driver religiously every Saturday to get our favorite foods here!! You won’t be disappointed!”
“Have been here 15 times and always have an amazing time with any type of company I bring. Easily my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Great for intimate situations for brunch or dinner.”
“Our favorite Seattle restaurant. We visit at least once a month. The menu is always creative with seasonal additions and with the finest quality ingredients. Service is always top-tier! The bar and bartenders are excellent at their craft and the cocktail selections pair so perfectly with the menu - FlintCreek knows what they are doing!Make a reservation and celebrate a special event, this experience will exceed your expectations!Parking: Parking lot just south of the venue, lots of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry at street.Mention you need accommodation when making your reservations and they will seat you downstairs. They are great about this!”
Fine Dining
“My dining experience at Wa'z was delightful, largely thanks to the excellent customer service provided by Linh, our server. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The food at Wa'z was consistently good across most of the courses we tried. Each dish was well-prepared and delicious, showcasing the skill of the kitchen staff. However, one area where I believe the restaurant could improve is in its ambiance. While the food and service were exceptional, the overall atmosphere could benefit from more decoration to create a more inviting environment for diners. Overall, I would highly recommend Wa'z for its great customer service, consistently good food, and welcoming atmosphere. It's a fantastic dining destination for any occasion.”
“We’ve been to BT numerous times and always enjoy it, the food is amazing the service is impeccable! This latest visit was a bit under previous experiences in timing of dinner delivery and the temperature of the steak was incorrect. With grace and humility, the manager came to visit the table and work to correct the situation. Justin went above and beyond to correct and we greatly appreciate his and Kelly, our server, efforts to correct the situation. They more than compensated for the kitchen error. Mind you, we’ve been many many times and this is the first blip and correction! By far the best steak in town and stellar service! Will always recommend to anyone who asks. Thanks Justin and Kelly for the service, hospitality and enjoyment of our special dinner out.”
“I had the omakase dinner here and overall my experience was really great. I highly recommend it for anyone who has an appreciation for fine sushi would like to experience an excellent and unique dining experience.More specifics: So the fish was fantastic and the preparations were very good. This isn't the best sushi that I've had, with the focus being more about the toppings on the nigiri than on treatment of the fish itself, but this is a choice that the restaurant makes and it is absolutely a valid approach. I can't fault the strategy because in the end the taste was wonderful so they can't be faulted for their choice here. The service was really good, if not Michelin-star level. The night that I went there were nine people dining, with at least 4 chefs and the restaurant manager serving. The beverage service was a little chaotic as they attempt to take everyone's drink orders at once and don't explain things very well. This, for me, is the only sub-par aspect my dining experience. The omakase course service was very well done, with preparation done right in front of us, with easy viewing of all the prep work, which is fun if you like that sort of thing (which I do). All of the chefs were very interactive with the diners, explaining each dish, and talking with people individually or as a group throughout the entire service. There was also a lot of discussion and banter between diners, or with other diners and the chefs, altogether. The atmosphere that makes this possible is the intimate space that they use and the way that the room is setup. And for most foodies, this kind of communal dining, with discussion about the food while sharing in the experience, is exactly what we want. So this was wonderful. My final thoughts are that this is a really good experience, unique in a lot of ways, fun, social, and a very high level of culinary expertise on hand. I would definitely consider returning.”
“I have been to Cook Weaver 5 times now and it is amazing every time. They are now a tasting menu and they have a lot of amazing flavors. The vegetarian tasting menu is so savory. This time was the best I have ever had there with lots of mushrooms and nori. The service was so friendly and fun. The murals are gorgeous and the building is a cute little spot. I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past. The other members of my party raved about the omnivore menu. Pricey but definitely worth every penny. The wine pairing was great too with some really unique choices.”
“The tasting menu is the way to go! Perfect place to celebrate our first anniversary! The whole staff was so kind and knowledgeable. I asked the bartender to make me a mocktail that would fit the tasting menu and she completely nailed it! The food was all delicious and so experimental and fun! We plan to go back at least quarterly to see what else they come up with!”
“Absolutely incredible experience. Food was DELICIOUS, service was impeccable, and the bottle of wine that was recommended to us has become a new favorite. Thank you for an unforgettable night celebrating our anniversary! Even got custom made menus with our names on them. Very nice touch!”
“The food here is fantastic, I highly recommend the oyster and pasta…The steak was a bit overly seasoned, and it was a bit too fat for my liking. I don't why I kept ordering wagyu knowing I am going to hate it.”
“Wonderful experience at Lark! We took advantage of the four course offering and each course was better than the last. We had excellent service throughout the entire meal and we couldn't be happier!”
“This was hands down the best nigiri and kaiseki I've had, even compared to the high end sushi restaurants in Japan it's that good.Dining here feels like I was back in Japan eating sushi at the sushi bars, the table, layout, and size are all the same. And the fish was amazing. Some of my highlights were the smoked fish, smoked krab rice, fatty tuna, and the wagyu beef teriyaki was delicious, very Seattle. It is on the expensive side and hard to get but well worth it if you want some of the best fish in your life.Parking: Hard to find parking on cap hill so bus, train, or Uber if possible.”
“It was fun, sometimes I felt the engagement with the audience was too much though... The actual performance/acts were good but probably would not go again taking into account the price and too much of invasiveness))”
“This is not a regular restaurant. They do Philipino tasting menus and only take online reservations. They open on certain days of the week and serve only two dinner seatings on those nights. The food is interesting and tasty. However, the portion is on the petite side, so if you're hungry going in, you probably won't feel full coming out. The chef and staffs are friendly and very attentive. As the tasting menu goes, it's more about the experience, the stories, the influences, and the inspirations on the food.”
“We have been to Copine a couple of times and it is a good experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am vegan and they have the chef prepare special courses based on the fresh ingredients they have, which I greatly appreciate. It is a very fine dining experience and my palette is not advanced enough to really appreciate it. The experience is a very fun date night or special occasion idea.”
“Today, we had an unforgettable omakase experience that I want to brag about. Sai is a hidden gem worth discovering! We secured a private reservation for our party of 4 and received the sole focus of the chef’s attention. We were presented with an abundant selection of sushi and various courses, each more impressive than the last. The fish served were not only exceptionally fresh and perfectly cut but also unusual, prepared to perfection to highlight their unique flavors and textures. The value offered by this experience far exceeded our expectations. It’s a rare find that genuinely merits the price. If you haven’t had the chance to experience omakase before, I highly encourage you to do so at Sai. You won’t be disappointed!”
“I can't even begin to describe the Noir show. It was just that good! I brought my son's girlfriend out for her 21st birthday. We're already planning for the next one. You can see the cast loves what they do. Ps. The rubber band thingy worked out.”
“Possibly the best meal of my life. We dined omakase and left full and very satisfied. The cook and server were very attentive and friendly, and clearly had fun along with the customers. The food was a wonderful blend of straightforward servings of high quality fish and some more adventurous and surprising dishes such as cod milt and a yuzu scallop. Truly one to remember and I can't recommend it highly enough.”
“My favorite brunch place in Seattle. I absolutely LOVE their Dutch pancakes, they are perfect. My husband loves their classic breakfast plate and says it's simple but perfect. And we're both fiends for their special house made ketchup... so much so that I asked if I could have a side to take home.. haha. Also love their service, the waitresses are super warm and nice which elevated the experience. I would come here every week if I could.”

Eight Row
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!”

Cheap Eats
“I have been here almost every single morning since I’ve tried this coffee place! I am totally addicted. I’m going to be bringing everyone I know here, it truly is the best and everyone who works here is so genuinely kind and helpful ❤️ also incredibly quick, quality service for the volume of people they can have! I am so happy to have found this place, I get the iced Salty Coffee please do yourself a favor and go here!!!”
“I really enjoy the atmosphere of this cafe. It seems to support aapi artists and entrepreneurs as there are books and merchandise from creators for display and on sale in thr shop. I got a banh mi as well as some vietnames coffee. The banh mi was quite good. The coffee, was much too sweet for my tastes and I could not enjoy it. If you want to try the coffee for a coffee taste, I suggest not adding any toppings.”
“Beer Star gets a 5-star from me. They have an incredibly expansive selection of beer offers as well as wine and other non-spirit based alcohols.I hosted my birthday here and they comfortably accommodated 20 people to have drinks and watch football while. It is a big plus that children can be in most places of the venue space. In addition, you can either bring outside food in to dine or choose from one of the two restaurants attached to Beer Star and choose from burgers or pizza. This is a treasure in White Center.”
“My favorite dessert of all time is the coconut chunk ice cream with an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie! Such an amazing Seattle staple and part of the community. Definitely recommend stoping by!”
“This place is really good, it's a local mom and pops Bodega. They have really good food and the people are really cool here. It's nice to pop in and pop out if you just need some things quick. I'm definitely all about supporting the locals and this place is definitely one of them.”
“These tamales are absolutely fabulous. We bought a whole slew of them for friends and family for Christmas. They made the perfect gift and everybody raved about them. The only thing I will say, is they say they take about an hour to cook but we found longer than that with a pretty intense steam, was what it needed to get the masa dough cooked all the way through. we love the jalapeño and cheese the best but really, you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. The staff is kind and pick up and ordering is pretty simple if you read all the directions. Don’t miss out on those awesome salsas!!”
“Love the mushroom based coffee (Tried Brainwash Latte) and their baked goods (Mini Chocolate Croissant). The mushroom coffee is not like the usual ones you would have that are either too thick, “muddy”, or extremely strong on taste buds. I would describe Wunderground version as soft on tastebuds and very powerful on effect. As for their staff and service, sweet and humble.Highly recommend the place for a quick grab/sit down, coworking, or just the weekend chill solo/friends coffee hangout spot.”
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.”
“Writing this from the driver’s seat while parked up eating. I’m in the car bussin’ this jawn out right now.The food is delicious and plentiful. Flavor is on point. Service is right. The fish melts in your mouth like butter. The cornbread, aweeesoommmmee! What’s Arnold Schwarzenegger catch phrase? Eaxctly!”
“This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The service is incredible, always so friendly, giving out samples and giving out information about the foods. This place is authentic with food made with ingredients strait from Oaxaca. The ambiance is beautiful. It is very colorful and decorative. It’s right next to the original Starbucks so it is very busy. Their tacos and tamales are my favorite. I will say the food can feel a little heavy. This place is definitely worth a try to at least go once.”
“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The pastries are delicious and the staff is very friendly. There is usually a free seat upstairs where everyone is working on their laptops (so I am assuming they have good wi-fi). The coffee is wonderful! I had a blood orange donut per the recommendation of one of the staff members and it was delicious!”
“One of our best finds in Capitol Hill since moving to WA. Footprint Wine Tap offers guests a large selection of incredible wine to enjoy as well as a cozy and intimate setting to enjoy them in. The best Pinot Noir and Merlot I've had in the state of WA has been at Footprint. Ken (the owner) is a phenomenal human, if you have the opportunity to pick his brain about wine I'd take it. This is a small black-owned business, focused on sustainability and connecting with the community. I can't wait to go back!”
“Wonderful cake shop- has me looking forward to my next visit. We had the banana cake with banana pudding in the layers, and the chocolate malt cake. We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!”
“I think the food here is really good, however the venue feels pretty cramped and they don't have table service. You order at the counter and hope for a table, basically.Kid-friendliness: Very tight spot, so wouldn't recommend people to bring kids here.”
“Yep, this is it. This is the best Detroit pizza in Seattle. MFD’s has figured it out, and I’m so glad it’s local to the neighborhood. The crust has that perfect crispy but flavorful edge but still soft with the right amount of breadiness. The sauce and toppings are the perfect and the right ratio. We got a pepperoni pizza and the garlic jalapeno bread. The jalapeno bread was as incredible as the pizza. Cheesy, garlicky - I would highly recommend getting some. When I went in to pick up our pizza, I met whom I am assuming is Derek, and he was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. Can’t wait to order from here again soon. It’s worth the planning!”
“What a nice place, second time I've been there and the service is excellent, the pizzas were delicious, the salad and my shot of espresso were delicious. I enjoyed it a lot!!?? ”

Itto's Tapas
“I ordered a lamb burger at the bar and it was delicious. the goat cheese, lamb and grilled onion worked really well together. The English muffin style bun was crispy and worked surprisingly well too.”

Un Bien
“Food is really good, well-priced, and plentiful. It's far enough away from Market to have plenty of parking around. It was cold but they had a couple of nice heaters to sit under - they could use a few more probably. Strongly recommend!”

Mojito
“Mojito and Luam Review:When it comes to Cuban fusion cuisine, Mojito has got you covered. Luam's extra intuitive approach ensures that every guest is treated like family, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Not only does Luam extend this familial hospitality to his guests, but his dedicated staff is also trained to provide exceptional service with a personal touch. His involvement and care for both his local and extended community make Mojito a place worth supporting. For those seeking authentic Cuban dishes in a welcoming and lively setting, Mojito is a must-visit spot. Immerse yourself in the comfort of Cuban flavors and a family-oriented vibe at this gem of a restaurant.”
33
D’ La Santa
“One of the best Mexican restaurants in Seattle is now open for brunch on the weekends and it’s fabulous! They have a mimosa cart with four juices and a party cart with hot chocolate! They have cafe de olla! They have two kinds of chilaquiles! As we have come to expect from D’ Ma Santa, the food is absolutely incredible and the service is wonderful. This restaurant is an absolute gem. We will be back soon to try more on the menu.”

Union Saloon
“Stellar service, super tasty food, in a trendy / cute / comfy little spot! Went here for private event for a friends 40th and this spot lives up to all the hype. Will leave you asking "how had I not been here before?!"”
“IT'S NOT FISH! It looks like fish and the texture is firm like fish, but when you see it irl you can tell it doesn't quite catch the light the same way, and the flavor is lacking the distinctive taste that salmon has, and the deep buttery flavor of tuna. However, the rolls we got were all very flavorful and well-prepared. I especially liked the crunchy salmon roll, I think is what it was. And the one we got with tempura "shrimp". The seaweed salad was delicious too. I would definitely like to come back.”

“Great place to hang out with friends and grab a delicious craft cocktail while snacking on some awesome appetizers. Atmosphere is cozy and the bartenders and servers are super kind and friendly.”

Lady Jaye

“The flavors here are fantastic. Not quite to the point where you wonder how they make them work, but it all comes together brilliantly. Everything we had impressed, and tho you’re paying premium prices you’re going to come away with a special and memorable experience.Service and atmo were good, plating was solid, just not exceptional or anything, and there’s no easy parking.Still, def a solid choice for a special meal with those you love.”
“I ordered half a pound of brisket, half a pound of spare ribs, hot and spicy sausages, and Mac & cheese to die for.? I’m all in!!Smoky brisket and ribs melt in your mouth. Everything is perfect and the Spicy BBQ sauce was Amazing!?There is a patio in the back, felt like we were in the countryside, looking at huge smoker grills.Highly Recommended!!”

Miss Pho
“I’m so happy to have found this place! It was busy during lunchtime on Friday, but our server was really nice and very helpful. All the food we chose was delicious, and we're excited to be back again!”
“The food and setting are good, but not exceptional. I’m happy I tried Autumn, but there is a reason no one talks about it. For the price point, I would expect to be wowed a little more. Certainly nothing wrong with our dishes, but in a city with great food, there are other places that offer more nuance. Also, the open concept kitchen could do with some thoughtful design improvements, the bright lights, white wall and open door into the prep area are a bit jarring and take away from what could be a cozy space.”
“Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful when I wanted to change a regular Kissd pizza with their vegan cheese. Thankful for good vegan/dairy-free pizza options!”

“The ambience is cozy and dark. The wait wasn't too long on a Saturday. My husband and I tried the lawn bath and the flies toes. Both drinks were delicious. Highly recommend this place.”
“Very nice restaurant with a small but tasty menu. The service and food was amazing and there was a good selection of desserts after the main course. I would recommend the lamb.”
“DANIEL IS THE BEST! we had such a wonderful experience thanks to our waiter, Daniel. he was incredibly attentive, frequently checking in to ensure our drinks were full and our needs were met. his friendly demeanor and quick service really enhanced our evening. 100/10”

“We've been three times now. Not just every dish, but every single bite has been a revelation. Feels like a master class in balancing ingredients. Each item on the plate is delicious by itself, and then even better with the others. No two bites are alike. And my lord, the rolls. THE ROLLS. I have eaten in a thousand restaurants by now. To get me this excited about bread??”
“Cozy japanese restaurant! This place was a great meal with some great traditional atmosphere. I got the Variety Ozen for myself and the ika maru-yaki & the black cod collar miso to share. All were really good, but my favorite was the black cod collar miso. The texture was very soft and flaky and the flavor was on point.”

“I had the kao mok gai and the crispy garlic chicken and they were both excellent!!! The kao mok gai was especially good, I would give it 20 on 5 stars if I could. Please make it a regular menu item!!!!!!!!”
“I usually have a great time here and the food is great! Today our service was specifically poor from our server. We drank our water right away and the server asked if we wanted more water before we even ordered our food. I’ve never had a restaurant ask us if we want more water. He then asked us to not share our drinks with one guest who doesn’t have an i.d. This was odd and embarrassing. My friend and I ordered a torta with a side salad yet received a torta with a side soup. It was fine and we let the server know we asked for a salad, not soup, but the server argued he wrote down soup, not salad and said even repeated it back to us. I’ve never had a server argue about an order, they usually just are polite and correct the problem. I will be coming back but refuse to have him serve me again. In 2 years this is the only issue I’ve had here.”
“Kobuta and Ookami Katsu and sake house is like a piece of Japan that you can head to when you want some ultra crunchy and tender, juicy katsu. It’s a pretty small shop that’s easy to miss but it is a gem for all katsu lover. Super fun energetic atmosphere that always makes eating here fun, whether with a friend or your family. The service is great and hardworking, always happy to serve you.And the food is superb! No matter the season, whether it’s rainy, hot, you like soup or rice, there is guaranteed something on the menu for you. I highly recommend the miso katsu which is the perfect meal set with rice, salad, miso sauce, and soup. It’s the perfect meal for any occasion. It’s katsu nabe is like a hot pot for one and perfect on a cold day. And its katsu naban is the perfect comfort food rice bowl, with katsu, egg, and rice. So come here to try some of the best katsu in Seattle!”

“A wonderful omakase experience. First and foremost, the food was excellent! But everything else was amazing too. The staff, the ambiance, the sake - all great. Our evening was reminiscent of some of our favorite meals in small restaurants in Japan.”
“Our new go-to for raw seafood and cooked shellfish. Oysters were the best we've had and so fresh. Enjoyed the po boy and the steamer combo. Nice muscat wine to go with as well. We will be back! Thanks Dawn!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.”

Single Shot
“One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies. The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!”
“If you are looking for a vegan restaurant near the Space Needle this is one of the better place to visit! It takes about 10 mins to reach by cab. It’s a cute little restaurant with good ambience! We tried Kati satay for appetizer. And for the main course we tried curry fried rice and khao soi!! The food tasted very good and the service was pretty quick!Overall it was a pleasant experience!”
“Took my fiance here with my mother for my fiance's birthday. It also happened to be Easter ?. The staff was still operating at top notch although other places were straight up closed. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). Over all amazing experiences for grabbing some cocktails and a small bite with friends or family. Come show this place some love so it can stick around ?”

The Shambles
“I had a FABULOUS nonalcoholic cocktail, the name escapes me, but it was definitely the best NA I've ever had. The mouthfeel resembled real alcohol. Very impressive. My butternut squash soup was very flavorful, but for my tastes was a bit too thick. My date's cauliflower steak was not tender, but otherwise tasty. The management did not end up charging him for it, which was commendable.I would definitely return to try their steaks and more cocktails!”

Sal Y Limón
“Had lunch here today with my cousin while I'm in town for a convention. We grew up in Texas so have expectations when trying a new Mexican restaurant and this exceeded them. Started out with an amuse bouche which I'd never had before at a Mexican restaurant. It was a small tortilla topped with beans, a delicious sauce, and two other things I don't quite remember but was so good! We ordered the guacamole with salsa and chips to start. I'm not a big salsa eater but I loved the guacamole, both for flavor and texture. My cousin ordered the carne asada which she let me taste and it was delicious, with very tender meat. I had chicken flautas, which had great texture and flavor. There were also several tvs, so I got to see some of Champions League, which I hadn't expected while traveling.”

Carrello
“We really enjoyed our dinner there with great food and service! Fired octopus and blue prawn pansotti was really really good, and the panna cotta was so unique and flavorful, came with cocoa nib and olive oil.”
“Atmosphere was upscale yet quirky. We were too late for the trapeze artists, but given the size of our group I don’t think we would have been able to see them. I think they’re only in the front room and all those tables seemed to seat 2-4 people. Definitely ask if you’ll see the trapeze artists if you make a reservation if that’s the reason you’re going. My friend got the lasagna and I had food-envy. I got the meatballs and they were fine, but that lasagna was amazing. Our reservation was at 9:30 so we were very hungry. My friend asked for bread when we sat and the waitress very rudely (I thought) informed us that we could not have bread until we ordered.Otherwise the night was pleasant.”

Stateside
“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.”
“Rondo was amazing. Went for lunch and had an interesting bento box. I can't remember the name as it was on the lunch special menu, but had 6 sashimi, mini hamburger patty, bolognese sauce over rice, and a couple more items. It sounds a little weird but was really awesome! The quality of the sashimi in the bento box and in an appetizer ordered was extremely high!Another review mentioned the bento box being served in a plastic tray even though it was dine-in. This is true, but definitely not something that I think had a negative aspect at all (and it's a nice tray) and matches the vibe of the restaurant, it's an izakaya not a formal dining room. Thoroughly recommend!”

El Gaucho
“Absolutely incredible experience. Food was DELICIOUS, service was impeccable, and the bottle of wine that was recommended to us has become a new favorite. Thank you for an unforgettable night celebrating our anniversary! Even got custom made menus with our names on them. Very nice touch!”
“Wow! What an amazing array of authentic dishes. Loved my tea egg and plum juice. The food was so flavorful, spicy, fresh and so tasty! The menu “app” was easy to order from with photos and descriptions, if you weren’t familiar with menu items. Items were well priced as well. This is definitely on my list for every time I come to Seattle!”

“The food here is fantastic, I highly recommend the oyster and pasta…The steak was a bit overly seasoned, and it was a bit too fat for my liking. I don't why I kept ordering wagyu knowing I am going to hate it.”
“The food here is delicious and plentiful. Our must haves are the falafel, shish kabob and gyro platter. The hummus and salad (yummy dressing) round out an amazing meal, but there is so much more! I highly recommend ordering from Gorgeous George’s.”
“This place is amazing if you visit in person! We ordered once during the pandemic and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered an assortment of skewers (our favorites were the pork belly, beef and fat, and chicken gristle) which were all nicely cooked and had great flavor. We also got a side of cold cucumbers which were refreshing and slightly tart / sweet and the spicy rice noodles. My husband loved the noodles which were very comforting to eat alongside the skewers. Everything tasted very fresh, was served quickly, and decent in portion. We hit $88 and the waitstaff gifted us with a shrimp dish, which was also very yummy. After the meal, staff also gave us two yakult drinks to wash it all down. The service was also great - water and napkins were provided without us having to ask. So glad we decided to stop by! We will definitely be back to try more things!”
“A place where I confidently bring my foreign friends to eat delicious food and enjoy it too. The atmosphere is also good. But the menu name is in Japanese (Bento), which is a bit sad.”
“Good selection of dishes, all of the dishes we ordered were fresh with good portion. Spicy soup base was ? for mild but authentic. Good idea to reserved in advance as the place is ”

Le Caviste
“I had a wonderful evening this week with a friend at Le Caviste. The last time I visited this wine bar was several years ago. I don't know why it fell off my radar, but it is back on it. The glasses of wine (5 ounce pours) are reasonably priced, and they offer a great variety. I selected a full bodied Gigondas and was not disappointed. The bites offered are also tasty. We opted for the olives, a nice creamy cheese served with an ample portion of baguette, and the tasty roasted mushrooms. Please give this establishment a try! Service was smooth and unobtrusive. I recommend arriving soon after they open at four because the space does fill up quickly.”

Issian
“First time for us here, celebrating our 3rd anniversary of meeting. Excellent food, service, and prices. No reservations in a really popular venue, so plan for a slight wait. Staff is awesome, and explained dishes we weren't familiar with.? The venue is noisy, so don't expect a subdued, intimate experience. We'll definitely be back!”
“A very delicious Chinese spicy ramen shop.If you are a serious ramen fan, you will be disappointed here. But if you want to eat a bowl of delicious spicy noodles, this is definitely a good choice. Although the soup of spicy ramen is not full of umami, it really has the numbing sensation of Sichuan peppercorns, which is really good. The barbecued pork noodle soup is also very delicious. Although the signature Malaysian fried chicken is also popular, I personally think it is too salty and drowns out other flavors. Even the spicy noodles have no taste at all.”
“Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.”
“This place is a gem! Incredible authentic Oaxacan food served and made by kind folks. Unlike most restaurants I've found around Seattle, they're not afraid to serve things spicy and that makes all the difference. Everything tastes fresh and the prices are unmatched for being in the city.”
“?️ Reservation Tip: Book in Advance! This charming restaurant is in high demand. Despite the rainy weather, the indoor seating area exudes charm and coziness, while the open terrace promises a beautiful dining experience when the weather permits. The staff ensures a memorable dining experience with their attentive service. ? Starters: The 4-piece Melanzana is a must-try! Grilled eggplant topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. A surprising delight even for non-eggplant enthusiasts. Slightly salty, but incredibly delicious. ? Mains: The Risotto ai Marsala delivers an authentic and flavorful taste, with generous portions perfect for leftovers. The Pollo Marsala, a Sicilian favourite as it states on the menu so of course I had to get it! Comes with spaghetti noodles with chicken breast in a Marsala wine and mushroom sauce. While enjoyable, I'm eager to explore other menu options next time. ? Desserts: Indulge in the flourless cake for a decadent treat. While the tiramisu boasts a nice espresso flavor, it leans towards the sweeter side with a generous amount of crème. Overall, La Fontana Siciliana impresses with its fresh and authentic cuisine, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu offerings!”
“we came late and they still made us food and let us dine in and they were very nice amazing customer service and the food tastes so good the best shawarma in seattle and the place is very clean thank you guys”

Din Tai Fung
“It had been at least 5 years since we've last been to Din Tai Fung. We enjoyed our meal. I think I liked the Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons the most out of all the things we've selected. For dessert, we loved the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao, and I could have finished an order of 5 on my own because of how good it was. I'm not sure when we'll be back, but I eventually want to try everything on the menu at least once.”
“Visited here on a Saturday night at 5:30. We were the only ones there. The server and bar tender were fantastic. The food was on another level, so good! Why are the locals letting this amazing restaurant close?”

“Went there on a Saturday noon. Herbal elixir was really nice. Solid food and huge portions.Chicken salad sandwich had great amount of filling in it. Shakshuka was average. Ambience was really cool.”
“Solid hoagie! Not as good as some I've had on the East Coast but tasty. Would go back but would try something else - I got a turkey/ham/cheese sub. Cheez whiz and fries were amazing.”

San Fermo
“best Italian i’ve had in Seattle! my husband and i have been here a handful of times and also recommend it to friends visiting! the staff has always been friendly and food is always so good! the bolognese is a favorite for a reason! i also don’t drink so the mocktails are my go too and they’re always good!”
“My team and I had the most wonderful dinner at the Whale Wins (and I felt like I ate like a winning whale.) From the moment we sat down and were greeted by the smiling faces of our servers to the last drop of wine at the end of the night, it was perfect. We all agreed that the food was some of the best we have had in years. Each of us had a favorite - mine was the black cod and the Matiz sardines on toast. The servers were attentive, super kind, and made sure we left happy, with a delicious slice of the zucchini bread with creme fraiche and sea salt.I look forward to going back and experiencing the rest of the menu!”

“Amazing dinner experience! The chef has exquisite taste, his Foie gras is so perfectly cooked, best in Seattle 100% Last time we had it in Maximillien and it was complete disgrace to both product and french cuisine Great choice if wines for very reasonable prices. Strongly recommend Omakase experience.”
“Drinks and service were phenomenal! Juan was hard working and friendly, gave us great recommendations for our first time here! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good ambiance, music and friendly staff.”
“Coming from Colorado most seafood could have been fresher in Seattle. However, I have been to several sushi restaurants in California (west coast “fresher seafood”) and this place was on top of the list on seafood restaurants I have been to. The way they mixed flavors and the food is majestic. I wished I could try everything in the menu because everything was delicious. The servers were great and attentive too. The environment was okay, everyone minding their own business. I had a great experience and left totally satisfied. I highly recommend this place.”

Paju
“Don't be put off by the compact menu - Paju executes the dishes wonderfully. Seafood pancake was nice and crunchy, and bulgogi quinoa bowl was tasty - saw some other patrons just having the bowl as their dinnerService was good but not always proactive. For example she didn't ask about allergies, and when we told her about them, she didn't seem to really get it. There was a pear allergy and she confirmed the pear was a garnish so could be omitted. The dish then came with the pear, and she said they could simply be removed (by us).Would be great if there were even more vegetarian options.”
“I can't even begin to describe the Noir show. It was just that good! I brought my son's girlfriend out for her 21st birthday. We're already planning for the next one. You can see the cast loves what they do. Ps. The rubber band thingy worked out.”

Kedai Makan
“It was fun, sometimes I felt the engagement with the audience was too much though... The actual performance/acts were good but probably would not go again taking into account the price and too much of invasiveness))”

Glo's
“One of the best breakfasts I have had. The waffle was amazing and the Azzy special may of been the best breakfast item I have ever had. We went on a Thursday so there was no line and the service was great! They also have cocktails and beer on tap. I highly recommend.”

Dark Room
“Korea-inspired creative cocktail bar with solid selection of food. The inside is as suggested by the name quite dark but it lends itself some cool vibe. Cocktails were delicious but def on the pricey side. The only thing is that the music and some guests were too loud so it’s a bit hard to talk.”
“Upscale-yet-comfy-and-affordable oceanfront vibe. The green chili soup came with these delish little homemade masa sopes (like thickertirtilla pieces) for dipping. Lucious flan. Creative menu options, including jackfruit tacos for veg-heads like me. Incredibly sweet and hospitable folks.”

Bar Cotto
“Got the meal deal for two (takeout) and had a special request on the wine. Everything was fantastic, the food and the service. Excited to come back and eat at the restaurant.”
“The prices for food are not bad. The place may be small, but the food smelled good and tasted good too. If you come here the service you receive is good and the staff is super friendly and warming. Definitely recommend.”

“We drove to Chopsticks twice from Renton in two weeks! This is how amazing the food and customer service is ☺️ We ordered the Mongolian tofu, green beans and cucumber salad and the owner gave us free hot sour soup when she found out we were first-timers. We eat primarily Asian food and this is the best Chinese vegan food we've ever had! Chopsticks is hard to beat for the flavor, taste, and don't forget, the excellent customer service! The owner is friendly and she was always checking up on us. Please note that the two recent negative reviewers demanded they get free food or else they will post negative reviews everywhere. They ate everything and complained about the flavor? Gimme a break ? They also told the sweet and lovely owner to leave America. Believe the hype! We'll keep driving here from Renton to work our way through their delicious menu ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly”
“We had dinner tonight, and it was brilliant. The food was great, the service was very good, and for entertainment the waitress was roasting coffee beans over a braizier in the dining room. It would be nice if the room wasn't so smoky, maybe run a fan?”
“This is a hidden gem of the U-District/Wallingford area. It’s above your expectation. I almost tried everything on their menu from pizza, plov, and fitchi and everything taste soo good!”

“My favorite bakery in Seattle! I live a few blocks away and stop in most mornings. The food is delicious, the beverages are just right and the price selection is perfect for my weekly budget! Definitely stop in if you’re looking for the best cafe in Seattle!”
“I’ve been coming to the shop for a couple years now. The breakfast egg sandwich and burritos are delicious. The burritos are huge and very filling. Coffee is generally good but not the best I’ve had in Seattle. The shop is beautifully decorated and full of plants. Staff is friendly and welcoming. When there’s a line, wait times can be a few minutes as there’s usually only one person taking orders and making the coffee.I would like to see Nos Nos improve their pastries. The pastries are not enclosed in cases; I’ve had several that were stale even in the morning because they’re uncovered, so I’ve stopped buying them. I have seen some bugs land on the pastries as well. They really should be in cases to preserve quality!”
“Good pizza by the slice, but I wish they would have had a menu with a list of their toppings instead of displaying what they just cooked. I probably should’ve realized that was what was going on but it didn’t explicitly say you could order whatever.”
“I had really really high expectations for this place after so many people telling me that this was the only good pizza spot in Seattle. Maybe that messed up my perspective a little, but I still think that this was some pretty good pizza. There's pretty much always a long line out the door, and getting a table inside will cost you quite a lot of time. We wanted to dine in but after seeing the crowd and the delay in getting orders out, we opted for takeout instead. In total, we probably waited around 25-30 minutes outside before ordering, and an additional 30 minutes to get our pizza.Their menu is quite limited which I appreciate, and we got the pepperoni and peppers pizza. These pizzas are large, but also very thin hence the NY style. The crust itself was the perfect texture - thin and crispy on the bottom to hold all the toppings firmly. It was topped with little pepperonis, sweet chopped peppers, and additional sprinklings. I did feel like there was a little something lacking flavor wise, though I couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. The flavor of the crust also wasn't entirely up there either. For what it's worth, I will say that this is still really good pizza, especially for an area like Seattle. Service is also really friendly which is always a plus. However, if you're expecting something mindblowing or comparable to New York, you probably won't find that here.”
“Loved it. I used to live in Japan, and the food, atmosphere, and service all reminded me of “kaiseki (high-end, many small courses all beautifully plated) meets izakaya (savory pub food, upbeat atmosphere, always go with a friend or three). The brilliance of TOMO is the mashup of the two, something you normally wouldn’t find in Japan.Went with my husband and we ordered the set menu plus the rolls. Everything was tasty, beautifully prepared, and served at a nice pace - not too fast, not too slow. By the end, we were perfectly full. In Japan they say “hara hachi bu” which basically means “eat until you’re 80% full.” TOMO courses felt a bit more generous than that, maybe 90%, but by the time we were done with our digestifs after dessert, we were pleasantly full-but-not-overfed.We had cocktails before dinner (mine was NA), a bottle of wine with dinner (took half home), and digestifs with dessert. Part of the genius of TOMO is their delightful and knowledgeable sommelier, who made excellent off-menu recommendations for wine and shared nice little stories around each winemaker.Another fun surprise was the extensive list of all kinds of liquors, including some rare, vintage, and hard-to-find selections. There’s a particular bourbon maker we love and it’s rare to find even one of their bourbons at a restaurant - but TOMO had three. We ended up paying just north of $400 for two, including wine, drinks, and tip (included in the bill the way we like it, and well-deserved). It would have been south of $300 without the alcohol. So yes, it’s a special treat, but it’s what you’d spend at any higher-end restaurant in Seattle. All the tables were in 2- and 4-top arrangements and the atmosphere works well for couples and groups as large as four. We actually started at the bar, which is lovely, and there were some solo diners seated there.Parking was a bit challenging, the main drag of White Center was full, but we found a perfect lot in front of the Domino’s, which is one block behind the main drag and two blocks away from TOMO.My two suggestions for the restaurant: first, the bar stools are very uncomfortable, my husband and I are not large people but our legs were falling asleep halfway through our meal. We requested a move to a table halfway through the meal. The banquette was fine but the individual chairs at the tables aren’t much better. The bar stools and chairs should all be upholstered, which will probably run less than replacing them. Second, both of our steak knives were laughably dull, we couldn’t cut the steak or even the green onion without a ridiculous amount of sawing. I told our server the knives need sharpening and she said they have them sharpened every two months. This is simply not enough, even for good knives. Have them professionally sharpened every two months, yes, but knives should be touched up before every service, even if you’re just using an inexpensive Chef’s Choice and giving the blade 5-10 quick draws. The custom TOMO knives are beautiful but they are not the crown jewels. We’ll definitely be back again, next time with another couple. Our plan for our larger group is to skip the set menu and just order one of the entire regular menu, which will be about right for four people (and it includes their fried chicken, a measure of a great izakaya).”

“To be honest, this wasn’t for me. I did not enjoy the noodles I had at all. Although the honey chicken wings were probably the best wings I have ever had in my life, they’re really crispy and full of flavor. I would highly recommend them above anything else.”
“Food was absolutely amazing. Went there for my boyfriend’s birthday. They had cute happy birthday confetti on the table and a birthday card signed by the staff. It was so sweet and personal. Everyone was fun and professional. You can’t beat the views this restaurant has. If you have something to celebrate this is the place.”
“Great place!Overall the food was amazing, the ONLY thing that I can "complain" about would but the scalloped potatoes with cheese? I cannot remember the exact name.Flavor is perfect, although, it is a bit oily (the oil from the cheese sets on the top).Flavor wise, everything was amazing.Great service.Cheap prices.Amazing atmosphere.”
“Food was excellent. On the pricey side, and I don't like the additional 5% "living wage" surcharge that is separate from the posted costs, but service was good, friendly, providing nice suggestions for dish choices.”
“The Met Grill had been my favorite go-to restaurant for the last twenty plus years, but I've grown disillusioned with them --inconsistent service, food, in my opinion, not as good as it used to be, the service charge, etc. (check out other Google reviews for more on all of this) So, I decided to give The George a try before a concert last night. From the gorgeous décor (on par with any fine dining establishment I've been to anywhere) to the fresh and wonderfully prepared food (I especially enjoyed the spring pea soup) to the flawless waitstaff, I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. I especially want to mention Brenda, our server, whose timing was in every way perfect and who made us feel both welcome and at home. She was impeccably professional, warm, and impressively efficient at her job. The grandeur of the space matches the freshness of the food and the service, again, perfect. (The hostess working the check-in station was also on top of her game; although, we obviously interacted with her much less then Brenda.) Looks like I've found a new go-to restaurant.”
“What a perfect place to meet up with old friends. I loved the food and the choices of non alcoholic beverages.Vegetarian options: There's food for every palletWheelchair accessibility: Lots of wheelchair parking”
“Lovely experience for my partner’s birthday. They even printed his name on the menus for us. Every bit of food was delightful, highly recommend going with a group to try several dishes.”
“Not a tourist but not a local and expected this place to be super super touristy and it wasn't it was great but still super picturesque and close to everything. We sat on the patio and Nick was our server. He is the reason i'm writing this review. He was so nice and helpful. I knew what oysters I liked and he recommended others I may enjoy and he was 100% right. I loved everything he recommended. He explained so much about oysters in a captivating way and made our dining experience amazing!!!”
“Service can be a little slow later in the night but overall it’s great. I have Celiac and they are all knowledgeable and careful for me about cross contamination protocols! Love the music and whole vibe. Yes its busy but I have never had to wait as Ive always found seats at the sushi bar!”
“Celebrated my bday and it was an exquisite experience. The ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of options available on the menu. From flavorful salads to creative vegetable-based entrees, Purple catered to my dietary preferences without compromising on taste or quality. The wine selection was extensive, offering a variety of choices to complement the meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was impeccable.Overall, my visit to Purple Cafe and Wine Bar surpassed my expectations, leaving me eager to return and indulge in their delectable offerings again.”
“We had dinner here and OMG! What an experience! The restaurant is very comfortable and modern with a great atmosphere. The service is friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the food is the star of the show. The fragrant duck is superb. I'm not a fan of duck, but absolutely loved it here. This place can fill up, so make a reservation to secure a table. The down town location only serves dinner. We highly recommend it.”
“The place feels nice and renovated, the staff is super nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we found the food to be somewhat too oily (e.g. the ricotta pancakes and the sandwiches) and underwhelming. The salmon beet bagel was very good instead. Coffee was also good. The noise level is somewhat high but bearable. I'd still come back for the vibe and proximity to other Seattle attractions.”
“This place does not need any presentation as it is a famous international asiatic dumplings chain. The service was great as well as the food quality. We did eat the vegetarians dumplings and they were really tasty. I do recommend this place in case you want have an asiatic lunch or dinner.”
“This place is top notch! We had a wonderful table right by the window and really enjoyed the boat traffic we got to watch. Our server Eli was super friendly and helpful with local drink recommendations. Our food, the crab and artichoke dip and chowder was SO fresh and delicious. Our whole overall experience was amazing. Will definitely recommend and come back next time visiting Seattle.”
“Makes you feel as if you are in some Italian grandmas kitchen waiting for a meal. It has a very older home vibe to it. I have gone here twice and found the pastas delicious as you can really taste the difference of house made pasta and not. They had gluten free pasta which is the main reason we had gone here as a friend has celiac. The service was okay as we did run out of water for a bit. Overall a nice place though.”
New Restaurants
“A well deserved 5/5 stars. Excellent service, great food, ambiance and music are a 10/10. It's a hidden gem, will definitely go back. I recommend the adobo tacos + the seafood tostada (10/10).”
“I have eaten in the restaurant and it was fast, comfortable and delicious. I live a few minutes away from it and have gotten take out several times, much to my satisfaction! Many traditional dishes to choose from. I highly recommend it!!!”
“Food was fresh miso soup some of the best I've had and I usually don't care for it. We had two rolls, and it was a lot of food. I found it to be kind of pricey, but good quality food and a lot of it. the restaurant itself is a little dark and hard. It didn't feel like a sushi place but I gave it four stars because the food really was outstanding.”
“Newish place - great ambiance! Love the bar area. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Happy Hour is a must! Cocktails were great, good wine list, and food was very tasty. Great local seafood, ingredients and flavors. Can't wait to go back!”
“Cool little place. Service was excellent! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately they were out of mushrooms and I was really craving mushroom pizza. We ended up getting the Birds Eye hot honey pizza. It was good but it had a little too much honey. It tasted really sweet. I love hot honey and thought it would be really good. I think less is more with honey. Sad I missed out on the other pizza.”
“great value, super yummy food - highly recommend! The workers are super friendly and the self serve bar was easy/fast. I stopped by here during my trip to Seattle and was so happy I did! We ended up spending only about $17 for 12 peices total. I really wish this restaurant had more locations!!”
“Had a fantastic breakfast at Sunrise. The staff is very efficient in seating and order intake. The scramble came out warm and delicious. I ate the entire thing! It specializes in simple and traditional breakfast offerings. A nice break from fancier area venues. And a great value!”
“The food is all very good. I especially liked the seared salmon belly. The rice is an amazing texture. The cashier/waitress also bagged up my food for me to take home. I always find this extra level of service to be nice. I look forward to coming back in a few months and giving a better review. My drink could’ve come out a bit quicker than it did. I waited for water and my tea for, maybe just under 10 minutes. My appetizer also came out after three of my Sushi courses. Maybe they don’t do coursing, but that was not communicated. It also seemed as though the staff they had was not familiar with the full menu. They were not able to make the taiyaki ice cream dessert for me because their main chef was not present, and no one was trained on how to make it. I think these are the kind of things that can be expected from a new restaurant. I look forward to coming back once again when I feel as though they’ve had adequate time to smooth out the bumps. As other people have pointed out the pricing is also quite good for what you get.”
“Everyone was super friendly from the moment we walked in. Everything we tried was delicious- martini, smoked fish mouse, liver pate, clams, salad, panna cotta. The space truly reminds me of Paris. It doesn't look like anything else in Seattle. I will say, since it's so small inside, the tables are sort of close together and it was a little loud. Will go back anyways! Food is more like heavy snacking. Hard to get a full dinner unless you order almost all items.”
“Every dish we had was impeccable! My favorite was the Uni Spaghetti with Salmon roe. My husband’s favorite was the Lamb with Salsa Verde, but honestly you can’t go wrong. Alanna’s service was perfect, she had the best wine pairings and suggestions. Can’t wait to come again!”
“I visited Golden Roosters with my kids today and ordered the fried soy sauce garlic chicken and teriyaki chicken sandwiches. I was so surprised and it was so delicious! It tastes like authentic Korean fried chicken and was so crispy and juicy. The coleslaw salad was also really good, and the atmosphere and the service of the staff were very good. ?”
“Went to Messina for brunch on Easter Sunday and had an outstanding experience. Every single staff member we interacted with was excellent - super helpful, accommodating, friendly, and fun. As a bonus, the food was really good. We had five different brunch items and loved them all. I highly recommend for brunch and will definitely go back.”
“A great place to stop by and pick up lunch during a tight work break! As someone who works in downtown Seattle, I'm always on the hunt for a new lunch spot and was happy to hear there was a new offering for donburi in the central business district. There's a great selection of different kinds of bentos/donburis to suit different palettes with cooked and raw options. I take the karai bento as a go to option which has generous amounts of sashimi paired with some poke, pickles and seaweed salad. Definitely not a traditional bento or don by any means but it doesn't detract from the fact that it is tasty and reasonably priced. Service is quick so don't be discouraged by the long lines! It definitely gets packed during the lunch rush. Seating is limited to nonexistent so be prepared to takeaway to eat somewhere else!”
“Tijuana tacos straight from San Diego made by an awesome up and coming seattle chef. Fresh ingredients, large portions and made extremely fast. Currently enjoying the beautiful capital hill location at Captain Blacks. Pro tip order via Toast and pick it up, don't pay the doordash fee and grab a drink while you wait and even with a great tip you still save money and support small local businesses.”
“Boyfriend took me here. He absolutely loves Vietnamese food (he has spent some time there). I had a sandwich that was chock full of veggies and had so many layered tasted I was so pleasantly delighted. Very fresh ingredients and well made. Looking forward to coming back.”
