Great "hole in the wall" Mexican food! They have vegetarian options, which I enjoy! I love that you can get a taco for $2. It is a little hard to find because it is up a staircase with other businesses above Broadway, but it is awesome.
The salsa used on the tacos is great. My wife loves the house tacos. Just a all around great Taco joint. I'm not into authentic Mexican food, but I loved this food! I also liked that the menu was small specializing in a few items.
They used to be one of the best tacos in Seattle but now they have gone downhill drastically and serve their food cold. I get a to go order and the taco shells were like rubber and the quesadilla was barely warm. I hope they read this and find ways to bring back the ways they used to make food.
The long line moves fast and is worth the wait.Authentic Mexican take out with a few tables that are speedily served by smiling faces. Try the house taco, featuring fresh pineapple that they cut up right there in front you!
Always expect a wait-- and for good reason! A little something for everyone here, with a good price for the quality. The beans are vegetarian, but the guac isn't. Overall, would recommend!

The place itself is nice. It was a longer wait but we arrived just before a Sounders game. I wasn't impressed by the prices (a little high for the amount of food) and the receipt wasn't itemized very well. The names didn't match the menu names which made it hard to match up what price was what. The food also wasn't hot when it came out. It was warm but barely for a 80+ degree day. Plus we didn't get our other cider we ordered. I may go back to give them a chance if I'm in Seattle again but I wouldn't seek them out for a special trip.
Super yummy Margaritas (on tap!) and awesome atmosphere. Food is a bit tapas style with smaller share plates. Always wonderful service and delicious bites. Great happy hour spot!
Good food and a nice vibe. It's was busy with the lunch crowd when I was there, but we managed to get seats at the bar. Salsa and guacamole with the chips where great and so was the enchilada as well.
We tried all the tacos and they were equally delicious. The guacamole, salsa and chips were super tasty. I'm definitely going back!
The atmosphere is lively and festive. The food is decent, but not particularly amazing; the food was fresh and presented well, but lacked a certain "umph" in flavor. Also, I was very unimpressed with the cocktails. The margarita was somewhat dull tasting, small and served in too-casual of a glass and the overpriced (for amount) sangria was served in a tiny water-glass typed cup. Decent for a quick, casual bite, but maybe over-priced for that function.

Friday evening, sat at bar. Happy hour drinks were terrible. Sangria was so sour it was undrinkable, I had the bartender add some simple syrup so I could at least finish it. Margarita was terrible too, super sour. Got beef cheek tacos, they were so salty, pretty much uneatable. I got the pork ones as a replacement, and they were fine but boring, not much flavor. Also tried the potato tacos and they were fine but unremarkable. I would not come back. The only positive thing was that the bartender was friendly, service was fine, and he did replace my tacos that I didn't like with another.
Absolutely love this spot. The decor is so fun and cute and the location is awesome. Went for happy hour, which lasts til 7, and the deals were great. I highly recommend the margaritas and the house made chips and guac. The taco plates are only $6 and are delicious but pretty small. My group ordered a bunch of plates to share and it was perfect
Flavorless "Mexican" food. Our waitress was great (very friendly and fast) but the host and bus-girl were rude and borderline incompetent. I've never left a bad review but after being told that the saint was the best mexican restaurant in capital hill I feel compelled to given my disappointment in how bland the food was and how rude some of the staff were.
Love this place. Food was great and the cocktails were just mind blowing. Small portions of food ,fits fine for your drinks. Not a big menu, but what ever u order is good.We missed the happy hours by a couple of minutes, will come back again.
Cocktails were excellent. Tacos good but nothing extraordinary.

Had a ton of fun here. Great neighborhood, and fun staff! The al pastor was on point!!! And the margaritas come in the bar shaker...so you get quite a bit. Also they are literally making homemade tortillas right were you walk in.
Went for happy hour with a group of four and sat outside because the ac inside was not turned on inside. Received water without ice on 85° day. All the glasses were dirty. Waiter never came back to take our orders after 20 minutes and they were not busy. When we walked back by 10 minutes later the waiter had just come back to pick up our warm water glasses. Won't be back.
We had nachos and tamales. The food was good, but didn't blow us away. The atmosphere was one star. Extremely noisy. All hard surfaces that just amplify ambient sound and make it very hard to hold conversations with friends. I will come back here to try their homemade tortillas, but will probably keep looking for better restaurants for Mexicana.
Best happy hour ever! Great prices and authentic food. I love it I come here every time I can...;)
The wait staff here is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere when busy is quite loud and not the best for a date. They have great food specials for late night and happy hour.

Consistently great food. Note that waiters will offer guacamole and chips upon sitting down but it is NOT FREE and costs $7 or so. You can dine here for about $20 each if you just go for an entree; appetizers are pricey in comparison. Food is delicious and wait staff are nice and accommodating.
I went to Cactus with my College friend for dinner. First thing first, the ambiance of the restaurant was good, staff was quick and friendly and its 5 min(2 blocks) away from the south lake union. They took around 10 to 15 minutes to get your order but during that time they do provide complimentary chips and salsa. I order spicy taco which was really good, like the way it was made and served with rice and beans separately. My friend ordered Chicken Quesadilla and he really liked it too. Definitely, you should try this restaurant if you love Mexican food. PS: They do have happy hours for Drinks.
Excellent food. Don't order the bloody Mary extra spicy, they come spicy enough. Also if it your first time they give you a free flan for dessert.
Great place to eat. Stopped by while on the way to the times and it was a great choice by far. Highly recommend this place for an afternoon quick bite. Check it out during happy hour as well. Great prices
Amazing Mexican food! I got the Verde enchiladas and hands down some of the tastiest I've had. Their cocktails, even non alcoholic, are amazing. I got the prickly pear and loved it. On top of that, very very friendly staff and managers who really are very helpful, would highly recommend coming herw
