Great Program. You can get a 5 star meal for 40 bucks. Their guest chef program is well worth the money. Plus if you take the time to volunteer you can get it for free and have a great time helping others.
Basically Slave Labor. (And you all enjoy it so much.) All cook staff are UNPAID homeless, who get only a bed in a local shelter in return for their labor (learning how to work in a restaurant kitchen for 4 months of very hard labor). Male cooks are given preferred attention over female cooks. They do not inform the homeless workers that they are entitled to certain services while working there, like help paying for clothing or med/dental care. They would only let them have it if they liked the person. That place looks nice for a reason, they keep as much of their funding as they can, it does not go to the homeless workers at all, really. Office staff and instructors are paid very well. They used to allow alum to eat lunch free in the back room with the workers, but they cut that out. F-U Q-Ball
The "restaurant with a purpose" concept is really cool. Glad to support a good cause while also getting something in return. Food is decent quality at a reasonable price.
5 stars because of what this place stands for. Giving others a chance for a fresh start and second chance..I love it! The food was also very excellent. I had the fish & chips. The fish was very flaky and fresh it was probably the best I have had in a while. Not overly breaded. My husband had the clam chowder and salmon sandwich which he also enjoyed very much.
I had Anderson lamb burger for lunch, and it was good, but it wasn't spectacular considering what I paid for.

Top notch service, insanely good food, and prices that can't be matched anywhere! Easily one of my favorite deli's of all time. Many years of success for this local gem.
Wow, I've been walking past this place for months never noticing a great, independent cafe with fresh, home-style cooking, amazing coffee and delicious bacon. With more and more places turning into corporatized chain restaurants, this is a refreshing change of pace with very reasonable prices. This is now my new weekend cafe spot.
Great food, good service, would visit again
Probably one of the hidden gems of downtown Seattle. A tiny family run shop with great food at a great price. Try one sandwich and you're hooked.
This is a great place to go for really good food at a fair price! The service we received was incredible! Even though you are supposed to put in your order at the front, the server came to our table and promptly took our order. She looked and acted pleasantly pleased that we were there and even took the time to greet my 14 month old daughter. Although they don't have highchairs, they were very tolerant of her walking around and being a toddler. We visit Seattle every year and I look forward to coming back to this restaurant!

Had dinner in the bar & was served by Rachel who is one of the best servers I've ever had. She did a fantastic job. If you sit in the bar ask for her . I shared Chateaubriand and it was excellent. The thing that struck me was how accommodating & nice everyone was & willing to do whatever it took to make my visit enjoyable.I know there are negative reviews out there but perhaps a one off? I'll be going back & I live an hour away.
Nothing but great things to say about this place, I was visiting from Canada at the time and had a night on the town in Seattle with a lady friend of mine. With it being a Friday night and not having a reservation we thought it would be impossible to get a table at anytime soon but that wasn't the case, within 2 minutes of us walking through the door we were properly treated and shown to our table. Our waitor Jim was amazing he made sure we got our drinks and fresh bread right away and when it came time to order he went through and explained all the different dishes with different cuts of meat and the appropriate way to have them cooked. All in all amazing service everyone was super nice and caring, we were in and out of there within an hour And on top of that one of the best steaks I've ever had. Keep up the good work guys I'll defenitly be back next time I'm in Seattle!! 👌👌
The night started off well, valet was prompt and professional. The host staff charming and the bar was great, had one of the best Manhattan's ever. Our server Jim was fantastic, nothing but good things to say about his service. I had the filet which was good, but my husband's steak came back twice undercooked, so I enjoyed dinner alone. After the second time his steak came out he gave up on getting it right and I was already finished eating, so he when without. We accepted the comp desserts in place of the steak, but those too where lacking. $250 is alot to spend to walk out the door hungry. For a place that prides itself on steaks we were really disappointed. Again this review is not a reflection of the service, it's a poor review for the kitchen.
A classic steakhouse with very friendly and experienced staff. An extensive winelist with quality wines from all over. An iconic Seattle restaurant that has had many well known celebrity's grace their doors.
this place is our celebration destination. Great experience, great food, great staff. Craig, the maitre d is great! be sure to make reservations and drop in early for a drink at the bar.

Good seafood place. Food was very good. Very convenient location.
The food was absolutely amazing. The service was just as good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh fish, good wine, and fine dining. Crab mac and cheese and calamari were great as were the entrees.
Your burgers were chewy for my liking and I would like a bit more sauce on the fries, but otherwise it was good.
Don't rely on the online menu, I specifically picked Shuckers for the whole dungeness crab to find out they aren't serving it at the moment. We came from an hour away just for it, so that was pretty disappointing. The other food didn't disappoint though, the Ahi Tuna and Scallops were perfectly cooked, wine was good, restaurant is cramped but the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Worth every penny, will definetly recommend.
Awesome appetizers, escargot, calamari and steaks with excellent service staffs.
