Yes tonight I ordered from Beaks on Dewdney West and we were very disappointed in the meals we got as my wife ordered the Queso Mac and said there was no taste to it. I had the Strip Meal with Dill Mac Salad and dip, 1st they gave me the wrong dip as I ordered honey hot and got habenero hot, plus the chicken fingers were 1/2 the size from the last time I ordered from there. The dill Mac salad was very bland with no Dill flavor to it. We will no longer visiting Beaks anymore, maybe...
We ordered and thought it was a bit pricey, until the meal arrived. Way more food than expected for the price! My wife and I each ordered the chicken strip meal and we could have shared just one, as the strips were HUGE! That being said the chicken was moist throughout and not dry, a nice crispy outside too. Mac and cheese was good as was the Dilly Mac Salad. Absolutely recommend.
The food was excellent. The portions are large, so you get your money's worth. One recommendation I would make would be to get your burger sauce on the side if you order take out, therwise, it will be sloppy.The service was Top shelf, warm welcome from the moment we walked in until we received our order and left.We didn't dine in, but from what I observed, it was clean & tidy. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
