Went for brunch on Good Friday, service was exceptional, great portion of breakfast special for two old farts and price was pretty reasonable. Overall a great place ??

Stopped in for lunch, as we were craving a hot hamburger sandwich, and I knew we would find one on their menu. Best hot hamburger sandwich ever! Home made burger, cooked perfectly! We both enjoyed our meal, and our server gave us great service with a friendly smile. We will definitely will be back!

I was at the mercury tonight for some great live music. I witnessed a first responder come in and thank the owner personally for saving someone’s life today.
I am so grateful that we have local business owners who are willing to step up to the plate In a moment of chaos.
Kudos to Chris and the mercury cafe staff for handing a tough situation. Not only is this one of my favourite places to eat in the city. I have so much respect for them.
The mercury has that old school diner feel. Live music. Great staff. Great food. And just great people.

Went a few years ago with my mother, who is celiac. Rather than say they couldn’t accommodate her they said they would figure something out and proceeded to give her a dish that made her very very ill. When asked about it the waitress said they had burned all of the gluten off of the chicken…
I myself had a burger that was just alright but overall not impressed with this place. There are places in town that do the 50s gimmick better with better food and don’t poison my mother.
While I love to support local, I haven’t gone since and will not be going in light of how they treat their staff. Stay away.

Got my food . Was surprised that my hashbrowns were actually. Potatoe chips . 2/3 of my meal I ate by hand . The eggs were the only food I needed a utensil for .
My wife and I had a great experience here - food was excellent and service was wonderful. But don't order the nachos - not really worth it IMO. ?

My friend and I went to the Mercury Cafe & Grill for the first time ever. It was so great for a couple of senior citizens to walk into this retro, and welcoming cafe. It was very busy in the restaurant. I never noticed anybody being neglected or ignored. The staff were all welcoming and smiling. All around superb environment.Our food was great, too. No complaints by either of us and we plan to return. I am sure, like me, my friend has been telling everybody about Mercury Cafe & Grill. Honestly, I do not think 5 stars is enough for how the atmosphere, food and service provided to us was during our visit.

Came in during lunch rush and had good service and food. It is a hopping place during the lunch rush.Had the beef dip which was a good choice since I had a late breakfast and kind of still full from that when I walked in the door.
