We got sweets that were divine and all made in house. Cathy was an absolute gem! She was welcoming and helpful. The other lady had a smile from the moment we walked in until we left. The banana pudding is the real deal. The peach fried pie was so good. We didn’t realize that they served lunch so we can’t wait to try that!
Worth the 2 mile drive off the highway. Quaint little restaurant and general store. Stop here for breakfast instead of the terrible chains off the highway. You won’t be disappointed. Awesome biscuits and gravy.

I came to Tennessee to have Thanksgiving dinner with @keto_nurse_paula and didn’t have time to bring something. I found Wise Ant and they saved the day.They thought ahead and made extra pies for last minute people like myself.

Yes, you heard it here first fresh cut french fries. This mom and pop establishment is not far from interstate 65. Just a small country stroll off the beaten path.

This place is like a little slice of heaven. I found it on google looking for a bakery near my final destination. It is nestled in a beautiful farming community and I felt like I had walked into an 1880's general store (except this place takes credit cards lol).I wasn't sure what I needed, so I asked Stephanie to just put me something together and man she did NOT disappoint. All the pastries were so gorgeous. They were a gift so I didn't get to try one, but Stephanie was going to give me one until I told her I was on a diet lol.At any rate, you will be doing yourself a favor by stopping by this quaint little place. They serve breakfast and lunch as well.THANK YOU STEPHANIE! YOU MADE MY DAY!
