So, let me preface this with the fact that I am not a huge wine drinker. We were invited to go to the vineyard by our friends. I love some craft beer, but I do not drink a huge amount of wine. When I do drink wine I tend to lead toward full body reds. I did a tasting when we got there and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor profile from the wines they had to offer. We selected a bottle stepped outside and enjoyed the fantastic views! There was a one-man band playing music and I could not imagine spending my time in a better way than with my friends, enjoying a drink, and taking in our local scenery. They had a grill going with hamburgers and hotdogs that day, and I was impressed with the quality. I will be back soon and I'm looking forward to it. If you're in the area please give them a look. The servers there are beyond reproach, attentive, and very personable. You get the feeling that they truly love their job and aren't just there for the paycheck.

The views here an absolutely amazing and not to be missed. Allison and her staff do a great job of making you feel at home. The wine selection is just ok in our opinion but any shortcomings there are offset by the staff and views. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

Beautiful location, super nice building, staff were so friendly and helpful; oh, and the wines were all superb. Most of the grapes are imported from California (80% imported 20% local) and made beautiful (dark rich reds, smooth crisp dry whites). If you plan to bring food from home, you are asked to purchase one of their food options, so keep this in mind (chicken salad croissant $12, charcuterie board $14). We were so surprised it wasn’t packed it was such a wonderful winery!!!!!!
Beautiful vineyard. Great dry wine selection. Danielle was a great help during our wine tasting. We only wish we had more time to spend at this location. They do offer a few food options, ex. Cheese, charcuterie boards.

The views at Villa Nove Vineyards are breathtaking! It truly feels like you are in Italy! The wine is delicious and the staff is friendly. We were there on a Saturday afternoon in September and our group of 10 was one of three tables in the whole place.I really think they could do a lot more business if they brought in some music and did some promotions. It is absolutely adorable but needs a little more social atmosphere!

Absolutely stunning views!! Trish and Allison were awesome!!And the $25 tasting option for both properties (Villa Nove and Watauga Lake Winery) was fantastic!! 2 really different experiences from the wines to the environment. Worth the visit for sure!!

You feel like you have been transported to Tuscany on this property. Such a picturesque and beautiful location surrounded by rolling hills and valleys. The wine tasting facility is beautiful. Daniela was the best hostess and such a wonderful person. And they have reasonably priced tasting and a charcuterie tray. Or chicken salad croissants. We spent about 2 hours just enjoying the property and wine.
On top of the rodge with very beautiful views
