Great, classic breakfast and lunch diner in a very cool location. Will definitely go back!
$17.55 for 6oz hamburger, small order of tots, and a water.Burger was OK, but not @$12.50Tots were good, but not @$3.50 for such a small amountWater @$0.00 was the best part of the mealVery cramped and uncomfortable seating as well.
The ladies that cook and serve here are always so sweet! It's like if you had someone cook it in your own kitchen, but better. The food is simple and affordable, but always taste great. Hometown type atmosphere. However, the servers/cooks do need to be allowed time to *actually take* their lawfully owed breaks and downtime to eat. I know it stays busy and help is hard to find, but that will burn the good employees out if not careful.
RUDE!!!! I had never ate here so I pulled into one of the parking spots and was looking at the menu online to place a Togo order and an employee came to my window and informed me that I needed to move out of her parking spot because she pays for them and if I wasn't going to go in and eat I needed to leave. She was rude and it was uncalled for! She can pay for her parking spot and also lose my money on ever eating there!
Finally found the greasy spoon I've been looking for in Chatt, and will be calling this place home for a while. Classic experience, great people, and just one of those places where you either feel like you belong there or you don't. Breakfast foods are solid. Would love to see home fries on the menu someday.
Used to be good. We went, but omelette's got smaller and the waitress was hit and run. No time to ask for any else. Miss my favorite waitress. Problebly willnn't be going back.
The food is fantastic, the staff are great. Last visit was disappointing though. And I was telling everyone about this wonderful tiny old restaurant, my favorite local find, until I smelled cigarette smoke in the back.... ? I also brought my boss with me for the first time so it was a disappointing first experience for him. If it's your delivery people, I would insist they put it out next time. There's only one thing worse to a non- smoker than having to breath cigarette smoke, and that's trying to eat while smelling it.
Great restaurant, outstanding staff, and always go the extra mile to make you feel right at home! Great quick breakfast during the week at 6am!
We visited Chattanooga from Atlanta. We wanted to get some food . Then the owner came out said to Leave . Just for no reason extremely rude . I was waiting for my husband to help me with my baby . I would not recommend this place. It seems like she like to discriminate people in her restaurant by seeing other reviews. I was very disgusted
We got the hamburger special for lunch, best burger I've had in a while. Juicy and cooked medium well as ordered.
So we got there and sat outside with our backpacks, a lady came out and said if we were going to order. We said yes then she said she would bring us menus. We waited 10 minutes only to be met with police. Felt very discriminated against. 0/10 wouldn't support this restaurant.
Great breakfast!! Old school setting. The hash brown casserole and blueberry pancakes are lit. If you're boujee, go next door. This place is an institution and the food is the reason why.
Terrible food, terrible service, rude people. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely would not recommend to anyone! Just awful!
The restaurant is run down, management is rude and the food is mediocre at best. If you are looking for a delicious home-style southern breakfast, Chattanooga has too many delicious options for this place to still be hanging on by its convenient location alone.
