This place is absolutely a hidden gem, if you appreciate authentic ramen and sushi! This was the place that my now fiancee and I chose for our first date, and it was delicious two years ago, and it is STILL just as delicious a week ago, the most recent time we've gone! Highly recommend that you go to try it out, and then get a group of friends and go as well! By far one of my fav places to go for meals!Parking: They validate parking if you're there for less than 3 hrs, I believe.

We made dinner reservations last night and were seated promptly, and were actually very excited to enjoy ramen since we eat it frequently in Atlanta, and recently went to Japan. Vibe was cool when you walked down the steps to enter the restaurant, it reminded me of when we went to Japan some of the restaurants being downstairs to get to them. First, the server sat us and there was another large party she was attending to so it took a while for her to get our drinks and take our order, that was totally fine with us. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen, gyoza, brussels, and two beers. The tonkatsu came out first, which I was assuming would come last since it was part of the “dinner” section of the menu, but I think it could also be confusing since we ordered off the small plates and standard izakaya tradition is they bring the small plates whenever they are made fresh. Our waters ran out because the ramen was way too salty, and lacked flavor. Noodles were undercooked, although the amount of noodles was good, the egg was not marinated and this was really disappointing. A good ramen will have a great broth and a perfectly made egg. It looked like it had been sitting out a while, also to note you do not receive a full egg. A full egg is standard with ramen. The gyoza was ok, nothing to write home about and a little less crispy than we normally receive. I did like the size and filling flavor (sauce was lacking), but way too expensive for the size, you can normally get double the amount for the same price, and even in NY they are much larger for the same price. The Brussels finally came out and these are our favorite vegetable. We always get them if they are on the menu and while the crispiness lived up to the hype, there was no sauce and barely any seasoning so the were just super dry Brussels. We didn’t even finish them. The waitress forgot about our beers so she brought them out after we had already eaten. The bill was way too expensive for the quality of food being put out. I would not eat here again, and I judge mainly on the food quality. If the food is great and service isn’t, I will still go to many restaurants.

The food was nothing special for the high price. The ramen Noodles were under cooked, the one tiny sliver of pork you get was very fatty. The skewers have very little food on them for the high price and lack of flavor. We told the woman at the front counter we had never been there before and her response was oh, well I don't really like ramen so eh. The sake was the best part. Won't be returning, there are far better places to get Japanese food / ramen.

Appetizers were the best part of the meal. Bowl of noodles was okay. Very salty due to abundance of soy sauce in the bowl. More like a soup. Presentation of food was excellent. Table surface very sticky.

Came in without reservation and we still got a really good seat, parking was very available, there’s multiple parking lots and a parking garage. The garage costs money but the restaurant will verify your parking garage ticket so that it’s free.

The food and drinks were amazing when the restaurant first opened. Overtime, the dishes have become over seasoned. Seaweed salad, soaked in dressing, Proteins heavy on the salt. I wish they would go back to original preparation and not be so heavy-handed on seasonings. Let the natural flavors shine.

Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu well, as we weren’t super familiar with everything. The fried chicken and dipping sauce was very good. My ramen was okay, honestly bland with not much flavor. It was a nice experience, just very pricey.
