Classic flavor I remember from childhood. The catfish and hush puppies are so good. Cocktail sauce is really good, you can tell they make it there. Pulled pork is always good, too.

Pulled up to Pilot in my semi truck to get me some rest and saw this establishment next door and decided to give it a try. A very nice, friendly, clean family owned business and the food was good. Haven’t tried the homemade banana pudding yet because I’m so full from the half rack of ribs and fries I just ate. The two waitresses who bagged up my order to go was dead HOTTT!!! SUPA GORGEOUS ???

I ordered half chicken with baked beans and pinto beans .it tasted good .i ate every bite .the portions were generous and i had to take my time with last bowl of beans .
The first time trying Lefty BBQ, was not satisfied with the food. I ordered their Lefty's Sampler combo included Ribs and pull Pork, and the chicken was dry, with no seasoning whatsoever and no flavor ?… especially for the price of $33.47

Food was awful and they mainly only offer pork. Not much you can eat if you’re Muslim or Jewish. The chips they give are over cooked and burnt. The only beef they offer is a beef patty with no gravy. No seasonings. Beans have pork in it. So unless you want plain non-season beef patty with burnt fries or potato salad that’s plain that’s the only option unless you want pork and I highly recommend going somewhere else. Waitress look like they’re wearing underwear not shorts. Just a very disgusting place.

Poisonous canola oil.Rapeseed oil (Canola oil) was approved as Generally Recognized As Safe. The reason I put a 1 star review is because your selling food that is cooked in poison.Why not use a food based oil? You can eat corn ,or Soybeans. No one eats Rapeseeds. It’s a weed like Darnel (Tares) Remember Jesus’s parable about the weeds in the field? (Matthew chapter 13. )Weeds are planted by Our enemy Satan. I use this analogy when witnessing to people about marijuana. Another poisonous weed. Weeds grow up and choke out the Fruit bearing plants. (Mark chapter 4) Go look up Rapeseed plants. Would you eat that? No. Would you drink a glass of Canola oil. No. Someone can drink a glass of corn oil. They might have a belly ache but they aren’t going to die. Canola oil would probably kill someone if they drank a glass of it.If you will replace your poisonous canola (Weed) oil as “an act of decency and kindness “ with a food based oil product. I will be more than happy to change my review and give your restaurant a 5 star review. But as a Christian I believe that I should always stand for truth and righteousness.Love rejoices in the Truth. Ribs were burnt, little meat. Supposed to get discount for poor food and communication between cashier and waitress and supervisor didn’t exist so no discount. We live close by and have not been back. Service is ok but food is not worth stopping for, Wendy’s is much better! Sorry but we’ve never been so disappointed and no attempt at resolving from their perspective. Went multiple times but they don’t seem to think you could be a return customer so haven’t been treated reasonably.

Did I mention homemade deserts.This is what is to be expected of a Tennessee smoke house. Great service, hot food, great, nice atmosphere.Leaving I noticed the elaborate decatuons which mostly were needle point. Boy, someone put time into those!The homade chips were hot and fresh. My plate the food was hot, with a perfect coleslaw.The waitress said cobbler, my eyes perked up. Then she told of a list of homemade pies....pecan with ice cream it was.I will come back!Wait til you try the fresh bread!
