Just went there on a Saturday night and it was pretty underwhelming...the mac and cheese portions are TINY! And come on, it's literally noodles and cheese! And the brisket was super dried out and flakey. For the high prices they charge, they should really up their game if they wanna stay in business.

The food was terrible, so eat first! We went to hear the music, but could not hear it over all of the talking. It was so disrespectful to the musicians. Maybe it was just a rude group that night.

Ducked in here during a day of sightseeing around the area. I love the layout of this place: Wide-open bench style seating. It's like having a BBQ picnic, but indoors! Live music is the thing here, too, and the guy playing guitar & singing had great energy and got lots of applause. The food we got was very tasty (I got Brisket, because why not?) and the soda refills were free and refreshing. Eventually I'd like to eat my way through their menu!

I was expecting a more unique experience, especially in such a high traffic area. Sadly the burger was forgettable, lacking flavor and presented with an entire onion core within. The rest of the meal was decent, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and beans. Live music was a plus, seemed to offer a wide selection of alcohol.

Yummy lunch right in the heart of Leipers Fork. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was counter order. They had a menu and daily specials. It was so fast we barely had time to grab our drinks before the food was at our table. It was reasonably priced, too. We enjoyed it and will visit again.

Fantastic music, great company and good food! Everyone is down to earth and you never know when you'll run into a celeb. My friends and I love this place.

Place is cool. Music is good. Food was their downfall. Brisket was the worst I have had, Mac and cheese was soupy and not cheesy. Best thing was the apples. Living here I will not ever go again. If you want to go for drinks and music that would be great. Don't expect decent food though

I rarely give a 5 star review but Fox and Locke repeatedly is at the top of our go to locations for great down home cooking, wonderful country music and terrific friendly service. We were concerned that it wouldn't have the same family feel to it when it changed from Pucketts to Fox and Locke but its even better if that is possible. We loved the old Pucketts and the heart and character has remained due to the care of the new owners and the staff staying on and making it an easy transition for all its customers. We love Thursday night live mic night and laid back Sundays where the music is free (tipping encouraged :-)) and the food is great. It may take a little time on the weekends to get your food but the wait is painless due to the atmosphere and the camaraderie. We always leave feeling like we have experienced something very special.

We went on a weekend with family in town and it was good. We weren't too hungry for fried food in the heat, but the ice cream cones were PERFECT! It was easy enough to seat ourselves out on the patio on the weekend, maybe because it was really hot? They had live music going on inside but we couldn't hear too much of it outside. I would definitely say stop for a cone, but the food looked really good that was coming out to the tables, I just don't think we were in the mood in the heat. Everything seemed picked up for the most part. Overall we would come back and we would recommend!

Today I had a business lunch at Fox & Locke. The food was wonderful, the service was really good, all the staff was very friendly and the place has a great vibe. A must dine or listen to music there when you’re in Leiper’s Fork!
