On sunday @ noon maybe the music was a bit too loud? Otherwise a nice place. We both had a bento box. Plenty of sushi to choose from but it looks like they also cater to the "I want sugary goop on my sushi" crowd. Which kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion.

Maru Lyagi, located in Hendersonville, TN, offers a delightful sushi dining experience. Despite visiting for a late lunch, just before the 2:30 pm closing time, the restaurant maintained its quality and service. We indulged in two appetizers, both of which were excellent, setting the tone for the meal. For the main course, we savored three specialty rolls, each bursting with flavor and freshness. In my experience, Maru Lyagi stands out as one of the premier sushi spots in the area. While the service was efficient, it's worth noting that we were the only patrons present, likely due to the impending closure. Nevertheless, our food arrived promptly, allowing us to enjoy every bite in comfort. The comfortable seating, cleanliness, and appealing ambiance added to the overall dining pleasure. Maru Lyagi's location further contributes to its allure, making it a convenient and inviting choice for sushi enthusiasts. In summary, Maru Lyagi impresses with its delectable cuisine, satisfactory service, and inviting atmosphere. Whether for a casual lunch or a dinner outing, I highly recommend Maru Lyagi for an exceptional sushi experience in Hendersonville, TN.

Does look like much from the outside, but the sushi was delicious. We tried the sushi roll with mango and it was amazing.

This place was alright, I’d say good for Hendersonville standards. The beef bulgogi was PHENOMENAL, I will say. My sushi roll, the pirates treasure, was pretty forgettable. Really fresh ginger salad. Our server was nice but things moved pretty slow. I’d go back if I didn’t want to go into Nashville.

Bibimbab bowl is not good at all. Lacks a lot of flavors. I don't know about the sushi, heard it was good. The meal is definitely not like the other Bibimbab ingredients. Very weird taste.

Our absolute favorite place for sushi. The staff is fantastic always welcoming and our service is top-notch. The ambience is casual. There are television screens to view. They have an excellent selection of wines. Plum wine is what I always get. I always get the how hamachi Kama, the scallops are delicious I haven't had anything I didn't care for everything is always delicious.

My visit to this sushi restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a soothing, elegant ambiance. The real magic, however, happened on my plate. The sushi here is a masterpiece, a fusion of flavors and textures that tantalized my taste buds. The fish was impeccably fresh, and the attention to detail in every roll was remarkable. What truly sets this place apart is the dedication of the sushi chefs. Their craft is on full display as they skillfully prepare each dish. The service was impeccable, Hazel who is not only attentive but also well-versed in sushi traditions, making every course a learning experience. The restaurant's commitment to quality is evident in the selection of ingredients, and it truly pays off in every bite. The menu offers a wide range of options, from classic to innovative rolls, ensuring there's something for everyone. In short, this sushi restaurant is a culinary gem. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience that transcends mere food, it's the place to be. I can't recommend it highly enough; it's a true testament to the art of sushi.
