This has been the best Chinese food I’ve had since moving to Knoxville. Everything I ordered tasted just perfect. The pork fried rice is also really good and by far the best crab rangoons I’ve had in years

Ordered Wanton Soup, we received Egg drop soup and 2 Wantons. It seemed they gave us what they had left because it was 2 hours before closing.

I ordered the combo platter to go. It was full of delicious fresh fried foods. It was packaged well with utensils and sauce. It was ready to go quickly. I do notice that a lot of the negative reviews have some rather odd complaints, but it’s up to you to try and form your own opinion. I personally will be ordering again!

This place really showed me how racist they are . The restaurant was not full to capacity. They had other seats they could have accommodated my guest, and I but they chose to seat us in the side room they have for patrons with kids. They sat me in a table for two right behind the hostess stand. I asked to be moved because I felt like they were trying to hide us it was like they were not listening . We were they only African American couple there

Fried rice is barely fried, if at all. Also there was no pork in it. It's almost translucent with barely any flavor. The prices they charge is ridiculous. Where I'm from in CT, cost of living is much more... yet Chinese food especially is about $1-2 cheaper on combos and in general and that INCLUDES fried rice that is actually fried!Pictures of pricing:1st is Chen Garden2nd is in CT where I ordered from as a regular.

Absolutely through the roof prices for subpar food

This used to be one of our favorite stops for Chinese food; however, it has rapidly gone downhill. Our Hunan Chicken “dish” was primarily broccoli, chunks of green pepper, and minimal chicken and/or other vegetables. Also, a 16.9 oz of Sam’s Purified water was $2. We were eating in and were handed our meal in a paper bag, with paper plates, and thin plastic ware.

I recently dined at Chen Garden and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The eggrolls were crispy and flavorful, clearly made with fresh ingredients. The sweet and sour chicken was equally delightful, with the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, complemented by tender, well-cooked chicken. The portions were generous, providing great value for the price. I would highly recommend Chen Garden to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine.

I asked for fried cheese wantons and they gave me crab ragoons.. me and my boyfriend went back down there and asked again for fried cheese wantons and they gave us crab yet again. I’m allergic to sea food so I can’t have it. I’m highly sad because I feel like I was pretty clear when I asked

It’s been the go to take out spot for my family for years!
