Food was slow to come out and actually sent to the table next to us. We sat indoors and maybe 4-5 tables so the deck can't be blamed. My wife and I both ordered pasta dishes that came without garlic bread. We got the waitress and she informed us it would be another 5-10 minutes. Why would we want it after our meals. I was still eating and the waitress handed us the check. So I felt as though we wore the welcome out. Overall horrible experience. We used to come out for brunch and that probably won't happen. In the grand scheme you lost us as customers and the restaurant could care less. Hope things get better

Crista the bartender is great and friendly. The food is another thing. Even if you ask for certain things to be placed on your food. The cooks still put it on the meal. No sauce means no sauce. Over easy is not scrambled. The menu does offer alot of food but if you can't get breakfast right maybe the menu should not be so extensive

First time to Cumberland Canteen. Absolutely loved it!! Darling place on the water. It has it all. Great atmosphere…. Live music…Fantastic food!! We were a party of 6. Together we had their prime rib (definitely will be back fior this…DELISH!) Shrimp Scampi with Bucatini pasta ….. flavor was delicious!! Prime rib sliders on pretzel buns…Amazing! Kids loved their cheese and pepperoni pizza!! Can’t wait to try their breakfast soon!!

I had high hopes as pulled into the parking area. Surrounded by the marina as I stepped out, I could here the live band rockin the blues and cheers from the patrons on the deck. There was a small line, sold out deck seating except at the bar, which was perfectly fine with me. However, after waiting on line, and being given a menu and smile grin the hostess, (the only one received by staff my entire experience!), I seated myself at the bar. The menu was an eclectic blend of bar food and upscale dining.
It took forever for the bar tender to even acknowledge me. No smile. No hello.
Eating on a budget, I opted for the Beach Burger and fries and a bourbon and ginger to wash it all down.
Drink was strong and the music kept me entertained while I waited... and waited for my food.
Bartender brought out my plate, threw down some ketchup for my cold and shriveled fries, and wasn't heard from again until I went to the condiment bin to grab some salt for my leather like fries.
My burger was delicious. Made with 2 smash burgers cooked too perfection, topped with sweet pickles, lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, and a thousand island sauce.
Next time I heard from the guy behind the bar is when I had to flag him down for a check. And, only when I got up and handed him my card did he actually cash me out. It's not like he even asked if I wanted another drink.
I watched each of the bartenders... neither one spoke to each other, smiled or spoke to the patrons! What seemed like a great atmosphere with a good crowd and live rythym and blues and blues was completely demolished by lack of customer service or charm.
Maybe I'll try again another night. Hopefully, they can find better staff that actually know what it means to be in the service and hospitality industry.

Everyone’s food was delicious! We had the prime rib(cooked perfectly), the shrimp scampi(had so much flavor), and the sliders were amazing. The kids also loved their pizza. Generous portions too! The live music was great and the service was wonderful too. Chloe our waitress did an excellent job taking care of us and checking in. Can’t wait to go back!!

My group had our summer party in the private room last weekend. The food was very good...make sure you save room for the desserts! The private room was great as we had our own bar service and we could hear each other to chat. The room was beautifully decorated and roomy. Staff was friendly and helpful even though they were very busy.

We love this place. They gotta work on the time to get food. We’ve been several times this year and the food is great but the wait time is abnormally slow when we are one of two or three tables.
Crysta has been our saving grace EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Ask for her and you won’t have to worry about the rest of the staff that’s just sitting around waiting for a table to be seated!!

We did not receive what we ordered. Substitutes were made on our pasta, sauce, and catsup….yes that’s right catsup. They served us tomato paste instead of catsup and tried to justify it by saying “all the ingredients are the same.” Are you kidding me?? We did not take it out on the waitress, she got a good tip, but will never be back there again.

Went today for the first time. There were 2 bartenders outside for maybe 6 people. They could care less that we were there. Took forever for a drink. Decided to order the Coney hot dogs. After 30 minutes or more, the uninterested bartender finally realized our order was at the bar. She tried to serve it to us (it was sitting there awhile) so I asked if it was hot. After she but her hands on the fries, she said she would get a new order. The fries were kinda under done and the hotdogs were not hot. We asked for ketchup for our fries and were given a small container with what they called ketchup. Well after trying the ketchup they brought us we asked about it since it tasted like marinara sauce. The waitress said they ran out of ketchup and were making their own. It was horrible. That was one of the worse service and food I have had in awhile. The waitress did take off the food from our bill, but I would have rather had decent food.
