Had an amazing dinner here with friends. The food was spectacular, some of the best we have had in recent memory. The ambiance and service was also top notch! We shared almost every item on the menu, and none of them disappointed. Definitely recommend, but to really experience everything I would highly encourage you to take their advice and be prepared to share to get the most out of it.

Everything on the menu is fabulous. We had a group of 6 and between us we managed to order atleast half the menu. I highly recommend going that route cause you'll want to try everything. Matthew was fantastic and took great care of us. This is a must try spot for any foodie in Memphis.

Food is always awesome and atmosphere is great. The servers provide excellent service and the drinks are best in town. The Quail and lamb are my favorites.

It was with some sadness that we bid farewell to the Restaurant Iris of old, but Kelly's reinvention of both space and menu bodes well for the future. While I still miss some of the old standbys, we thoroughly enjoyed the new offerings. We did cheat after dinner and head next door to Second line for bread pudding, which my wife simply could not do without.

Good food, too expensive

Food was wonderful. As always Kelly English's team executes to perfection whatever they do. Our server was also lovely. The only reasons for the four instead of five stars are: (1) we were unaware that the weekday tasting menu we hav experienced in the past and loved so much was not available on the weekend- that truly makes the five star experience for me and is what I had prepared our guests for. (2) the sommelier snubbed her nose at our requests to sample two wines before choosing. I understood the reluctance but man! We're at Iris! Anticipating and excited for the best service and food in Memphis. It didn't look good for our wine enthusiast out of town guests. (3) Other tables also were offered amuse bouche but we were not. It left us feeling a little left out.

We had a lovely evening, celebrating our anniversary. Service was excellent. We both enjoyed the spinach salad. I had the redfish, which I really enjoyed. My husband had the jack, which he said was pretty good. Bread pudding and strawberry cake were tasty. This was a wonderful experience, and I cannot wait until Iris reopens!

As always, Restaurant Iris does not disappoint. The food was amazing and the service was great. The drinks were so so, but that's not what I come here for. We ordered a few things on the menu and each dish was delicious. Appreciated the large servings as well. Great experience! Kelly English has still got it!

Great experience! I took my girlfriend for our anniversary and the table was set for the occasion with ribbon along with an insert in the menu. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the chef came out to check on us as well. The food was nothing short of incredible. Certainly one of the best meals I've ever had and it was made even more special by recognizing our anniversary in such a considerate way.

The only complaint I have is if a dish is spicy,it should be noted on menu.My "mouth was on fire,I was unable to eat it. Another item was made for me "redfish pontchartrain "it was perfect. The too spicy dish was "grilled jack with a harissa "cafe au lait"and gulf shrimp. Linda M.

We had the opportunity to treat some friends to Iris for the first time, and were happy we could experience the original Iris one last time before it is re-imagined by Chef English and his team. We started off sharing the Oyster Trio and the Raviolo. I know we will still be able to get the fried oysters at Second Line, but the raviolo is a dish we will definitely miss. For entrees we shared the veal schnitzel, the redfish Ponchartrain, and the amberjack harissa. These all brought back wonderful memories. Desssert would not have been complete without the bread pudding, but we also treated ourselves to a strawberry gooey butter cake and chocolate silk pie. Service was impeccable as always. While will be sad to see some of our favorite dishes go, we are looking forward to the new Iris later this year!
