We were told by a local to not miss Neely's place on 3rd Street. The food was above average but not the "experience" we were told to expect. Friendly folks. The brisket was good, the pork ribs so-so.

This review is for the location at 2265 S 3rd St, Memphis, TN 38109. I had the beef ribs and they were excellent, served with two sides and white bread. My husband got the beef sandwich and said it was good but that he should have ordered pork. The service was friendly and helpful. Interesting photos and memorabilia on the walls, including photos of the Neely family. Basically a good old Southern BBQ joint.

We were immediately greeted with a smile and seated! The solo waitress Ms Stephanie was awesome!! Our drink order was taken immediately allowing us time to sip & study the menu! The sampler platter with a huge amount of everything was more than enough!! The price couldn’t be beat! We had a party of 10, and we were well attended to!we will definitely be back & highly recommend !!
