I had take out and paid without my card and the hosting person felled to tell me about the extra tip fee added, way too much, especially when you order something to go, why do you have to tip for to go orders anyway? Plus they serving about was just above a kids plate, cabbage was not tender either

5 Stars for everything. The atmosphere was great. Relaxing music playing. The waiter was attentive. The food was delicious. I am vegetarian. I ordered the oyster mushroom and smoked cabbage ? . This is my new favorite place. I plan to try all of the vegetarian options. You will not be disappointed. Great place for every occasion.

My family and I just spent a wonderful, memorable day having a bruch in rememberance of my deceased mom's birthday. We could not have picked a better place. The Boss room has a cozy, upscale home-like vibe. The food was fantabulous! Mrs. CJ Harris was a delight to work with! All the staff we interacted with provided great customer service from the young lady who assisted me with connecting my desk top to the AV equipment to all the men who served the food and waited on us. Mr. Johnny was spot on with his service. My entire family and I are very satisfied customers!

This is a very cute establishment. We came here for drinks. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there. No smile. No greeting. No “welcome to mahogany”. We felt like we were a burden when we were trying to spend money there.

I don't recommend. It takes a hour to get your food. The service is horrible. The waiter got our order wrong despite us ordering the same thing to make it easy . He completely left one of our meals off. Some of the food was cold and the chicken was dry. Then we were charged for an extra meal which was refunded. This was my first and last visit.

First, let me start by saying that the establishment is very pretty which draws you in however, the service was horrible and so was the food. The manager was there but never came by my table after sending my food back multiple times during the service. I’m not happy and was charged $6 for a waffle I sent back to have remade after tasting like skillet…. :(

Went in yesterday me and my husband been there plenty of times was excellent took our 28 yrs old for the first time,I had the chicken pasta,he ordered cuz of gumbo and a cup of gumbo his fav,wasn't appealing at all like it use to be, wasn't crowded at all maybe a handful of folks,gnats everywhere couldn't enjoy my meal as usual like the last time we came,gnats enjoyed our food better than us,I had high expectations as usual didn't get it,tipped our waiter 18 dollars for poor service to bring my hubby bread later after his meal,I believe management has changed this is unbelievable I won't be going back,our ticket was 134.00 plus tip,bad last experience
Food was delicious and hot surprisingly. We arrived at 1 pm on a Thursday. Not really packed. We were greeted and sat within minutes. I guess they were short staffed because it took our waiter 10 minutes to bring us waters and take our order. We ordered drinks with our food. It took 45 mins to an hour to receive our food. When received our food, it was surprisingly hot but missing the Mac and cheese we ordered and the cornbread. Our waiter said she would bring it out to us. We were finishing up our meal and my husband asked another waiter for an update. She said “Uhh sir I need you to be patient with us it’s only two of us.” This would have been a nice disclaimer in the beginning. He comes back and then our waiter brings out one of our drinks from the bar. When she brought it out we immediately asked for the check. We didn’t want to spend another 30-45 mins waiting on our check. I hope this restaurant can get it together. The food and ambiance was nice but customer service was terrible outside of our waiter. She understood our frustration.

Every time I come in here it’s dead. Food was very good but my issue I ordered my food to go and I asked for hot sauce and this man walked away huffing and puffin and I stood and waited patiently for 5 minutes. It was already nobody in the restaurant and the workers just standing there chilling not doing anything and I watched the man drink on the clock white in waiting for my hot sauce . I immediately got pissed and walked off

First time diner….I had the fried catfish with breakfast potatoes and Mac & cheese… the catfish was crusted and soft and flakey on the inside. The potatoes was cooked to perfection and the Mac was delicious. My wife had the blackened catfish, Mac and cheese and greens. She loved it. We are new to Memphis and we will be back.
