Difficulty communicating a special order then felt overcharged. Was served bread with meal after getting a sandwich when should have had a choice. Wasn't given an option. Felt everything overpriced .Soup only lukewarm but was tasty.
I go to Panera for a bagel on Friday mornings. I like their whole wheat bagel, sliced and toasted with cream cheese and preserves. When I order, they slice and toast fairly quickly. Then they place the hot bagel in the bag with the cold cream cheese. If I order a side of fruit, that cold fruit also goes in the bag by my warm bagel. This is Panera Bread... It is exactly what one would expect from a Panera Bread. I felt a cup of soup, half a sandwich, and coffee should have been a little less than. $14 and some change. The soup was good, the sandwich was not bad, the coffee was okay to yet much better than a cup from a gas station. After being in less than desirable areas of Memphis, it felt as if it was in a mall where I wasn't likely not get mugged or shot.
