The waiter was very prompt and kind. The atmosphere was appealing with art photos and a wide range of windows to look out. The music ? played was 90s alternative, which was a plus for me

We didn't have reservations, but since it was early they were able to accommodate my party of 5. Our server was excellent and knew their menu front and back. Drinks were excellent. Fried mushrooms were also delicious. The only drawback was that for a wood fired pizza, there was no wood fired taste. I saw the wood and I saw the fire. I think the pizza might have been better if it was cooked a few minutes longer. The crust had a good chew, but needed a bit more integrity.

We had vegetarian pizza, which was fabulous as well as the meat balls! Service and the atmosphere were great. It's not quite dining, though. I regret not returning there the next day during our Memphis visit.

Tamboli's hands down has the best pizza and pasta in Memphis. Vick did an excellent job serving my friends and I. Her personality was lovely and positive. She recommended great food items of us to try. We ended up ordering the Bavette Steak, Cheesy Garlic Sticks , Bruschetta, Dancing Pigs BBQ Chicken Pizza, and Lemon Pepper Fettuccine with Chicken. All of it was delicious. I love the fact that Tamboli's pasta and pizza is handmade. The atmosphere was pleasant, it wasn't too loud. You couldn't hear the next tables voices which I liked. The down fall was parking on the street. I wish they had a better parking system just to be safe leaving and coming to the restaurant.

Food and ambience were good but our service experience was not the greatest. From getting seated not in order of priority to our server completely missing our order, it was filled with an experience where the staff seemed clueless.

I have only been here once, and it was for a takeout order. I have yet to dine in or to try anything else on their menu, but being new to the area this place is off to a great start in my book the salad was quite good despite being a to go option it was still crisp with the greens and not overdone although I wish they did tell me that they put cheese on there cause I would've maybe gotten it without. In my opinion the cheese accompanied by the kalamata olives made the salad extremely salty. And as I previously stated, I am new to the area but out of all the pizza I've tried here so far this by far my favorite the ingredients seem to be pretty well sourced and you're getting way more than just a greasy over the top pie. there's really good flavors in there and the peppers were absolutely perfect adding a little bit of spice, but great taste. I would also like to note that the pizzas larger than I thought it was, when was ordering I believe they were personalize pizzas and I honestly thought it was too expensive for that. A pleasant surprise. I need to get back here in order to give more of a all around review, but also just because I want to try other things on the menu! Lastly, the service I had at the front for pick up was very quick. My order was ready on time and the woman who helped me over the phone, and while I was picking up was extremely nice.

I’ve tried several apps, pastas, pizzas, desserts, and cocktails over my visits. I have enjoyed everything but particularly the arancini app, Spicy Italian Sausage pizza, the Spicy Vodka Campanelle pasta, and the gelato!

I went for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was great. I had the bbq chicken pizza and it was 10/10. It's a little on the pricey side, but the service was great. I will most likely return soon.

Plain and classic decor. The service was underwhelming. From the hostess who was clueless and a "quick get to ordering", waitress the dining experience was mehThe food was well prepared, but a bit on the expensive side for what it was. And they didn't even comp a piece of bread with the pasta. Not great, not bad.

One of my favorite places in town -- amazing pizza, great deals! And you can buy pasta to make at home (so good)!

Tamboli’s pizza is great. The red sauce reminds me of Papa John’s pizza sauce but that is not a criticism. The mozzarella is stretchy and delicious. This is a solid choice for an authentic Italian-American pie.My service experience was good. The staff was friendly and seemed to be well coordinated. The vibe of the restaurant is a little strange. The internal design and architecture is very comfortable and Midtown-y, however, some of the paintings don’t complement that aesthetic tastefully. Regardless, I prefer a quirky touch over a bland one any day.I like Tamboli’s a lot. I think I’m going to add it to my pizza rotation! Before I forget, the drinks are fun and cheap! Most of them are $15 or under. The bartender did a good job.
