The absolute worst waffle house I've ever been to in life !! Food was good but tables nasty, menu's on the tables,nasty! Staff talking to each other around new customers like they're in a alley ready to fight! I freaking hate Memphis even more now because of this place! The star is for the food and took it to go!

It's Father's Day 2021, we was trying to make a call in order, but no one answered the phone. Upon arriving to the American Way location, the employees are sitting in the booths doing nothing.....No customer's but they can't answer the dam phone. SMDH

30 minutes after placing our order we were finally told that pick up orders were being filled first. What??? Our order hadn't even been called out yet. Why are pick up orders given priority over in house customers??? Makes no sense whatsoever. We paid for our drinks and left.

this waffle house is one of the best!!! the staff was so welcoming and kind. a sweet staff member asked what music we’d like to listen to (shout out to the bts and michael jackson). thank you for taking care of us - we were so tired and dazed and u put a genuine smile on our face!

You're taking your chances with this one when it comes to food. It wasn't very clean when I was there and the food took a lot longer than I've ever seen at a Waffle house. They were friendly enough and it is what it is.

Not serving inside like other restaurants in the area... come on this is a waffle house which opens on holidays and during hurricanes. Extremely disappointed was looking forward to some breakfast dinnerNot ordering eggs to have cold.
This was a tough one. Food was really good and the prices were very reasonable. However while we were there a fight broke out in the parking lot and they had to lock down the restaurant. Doesn't really scream relaxing Sunday breakfast.

This is the Waffle House in Memphis Tennessee. I was very disappointed there were only two workers in the store and there was a line of people waiting to place orders. After 20 minutes my order was placed. The lady apologizef for there only being two people but service was still terrible because later on more people showed up. I waited an hour for my food when I got the food it was half right half wrong there was no silverware at that point we had traveled we were tired we were hungry we just accepted what we got. Whenever I go back to Memphis Tennessee I will not be using this Waffle House.

The people I was with was related to one of their employees. They have the dining room closed due to cleaning at the hours we went. The employee my party was related to was very rude and kind of a know it all. I made the comment to her that they are open 24 hours a day so why is the dining room closed? (Because we were being charged a 10% delivery/pickup charge) Her response to me was "I don't get what people don't understand about we have to close to clean. You would think that people have never worked at a job before!! " I personally have WORKED more years in my life than this individual has been alive. Much less how long she had been working. The food, of course, was very good.
